Modelling of Dynamic Properties of Gearboxes Using Virtual Prototypes
Otipka, Václav ; Trochta,, Miroslav (referee) ; Žlábek,, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
Transmissions are very widespread across all categories of technical products. Their role is irreplaceable, however, their operation is always associated with the generation of significant vibration and noise, which is also considered one of the main disadvantages, which manifests itself especially in heavily loaded transmissions and represents a disadvantage mainly in terms of product competitiveness and possible legislation problems. This problem can be solved in part through sophisticated transmission optimization, which, however, requires considerable effort, time, and money. This is the main reason why there is constant pressure to find efficient solutions for optimization and why the scientific community is still paying considerable attention to this area. At present, a combination of computational and experimental approaches is used for overall optimization in this area. This dissertation is focused on the prediction and understanding of the transmission dynamic behaviour, which requires the construction of an advanced, complex computational model. Computational modelling is supported by a number of partial technical experiments, which are used to validate the results.

Production technology for parts of a winder gearbox
Riasnyi, Artem ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Zemčík, Oskar (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the design of the production of two key gearbox components – the output shaft and the gear wheel. The aim was to optimize the production of these components through the selection of suitable machining equipment, cutting tools, and cutting conditions. Two production variants with different replaceable carbide inserts for lathe knives were compared for the output shaft. For the gear wheel, variants with different drills and carbide inserts for groove pinning were compared. The results indicate that the first variant of the output shaft production is advantageous in terms of both time and costs, whereas for the gear wheel, the second variant is advantageous in terms of time. Further optimization of cutting conditions is recommended, along with consideration of alternative tool selection to further improve efficiency and reduce production costs.

Benda, Matouš ; Zubík, Martin (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
Transmissions are basic elements of cars, which are important parts of everyday life. Expect targeted properties transmissions have a great influence for a total noise emitted by car. This thesis deals with possibilities of reducing this noise. In a first part of this thesis, reader is acquainted with the basic knowledge of acoustics, where are definitions of sound and mentioned noise. Another part analyzes transmission, as a mechanical component formed by smaller machinery units. This description is important for understanding transmission of vibrations in the structure, which further due to vibrate surroundings, which the human ear perceives as noise. These vibrations are mainly generated between meshing gears, and therefore the transmission error, which is responsible for these vibrations is analyzed in the next section. The last part discusses noise reduction methods, partitioned by the transmission components, in which are these methods applied.

Defect detection on fiber materials using machine learning
Lang, Matěj ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Honec, Peter (advisor)

Tractor Shift Mechanism Analysis
Netopil, Jan ; Řehák, Kamil (referee) ; Prokop, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the shifting mechanisms of manually shifted tractor transmissions. It provides a comprehensive overview of all significant structural nodes of the shift mechanism with an analysis of the influence of the structure on the resulting intensity of a force required for shifting. The main aim of this thesis is the design and validation of experimental equipment for measuring the force effects of the shift mechanism of a mass-produced tractor in actual operation. The design of the experimental equipment is based on a study of the used measuring technique and similar experimental equipment. The final structure is selected based on selection by the method of weighted values, taking into consideration the requirements of the structure. A functional measuring chain is designed and formed for the realization of the measurement. To evaluate the data from the technical experiment, a multibody model of the designed experimental device is created in the MSC Adams View software, through which the real parameters of the shift mechanism are obtained from the measured values. The designed experimental equipment brings the possibility of complete analysis and subsequent optimization of the tractor's shift mechanism
