Public health in terms of eating habits of adolescents
Duchoňová, Andrea ; Šteffl, Michal (advisor) ; Petr, Miroslav (referee)
5 Abstract Context: Healthy lifestyle promotion is an important long-time process for today's society. Nowadays, models and theories are developed to enhance public health. Objectives: Create a systematic review of theories and models based on healthy diet promotion. Methods: The Master Thesis consists of 5 independent systematic reviews. Particular studies were examined based on Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) recommendations. A search was carried out of 2 electronic databases (PubMed and Web of Science) using following keywords - adolescence, eating habits, diet, nutrition a names of particular models/ theories. Results: 6 studies based on Health Belief Model, 8 based on Transtheoretical Model, 7 based on Social Ecological model, 8 based on Social cognitive model and 8 studies based on Nudge theory were included into the systematic review. Conclusion: Models and Theories are considered as successful ways to modify people's eating habits. More research within this area is needed due to wide diversity of healthy diet determinants. Keywords: diet, nutrition, healthy eating, adolescent, particular model/theory
Description of the pilot plant for the creation and accessibility of digital archive packages focusing on works of art with non-cinematographic audiovisual content
Svatoš, Jonáš
The pilot plant for creating and publishing digital archive packages with a focus on works of art with audiovisual content of a non-cinematographic nature represents a complex service designed for the acquisition of the art of moving image on both analogue and digital media. The output of the service is a digital object, the validity of which is verified through the preservation of significant properties. The service in the context of Czech collecting institutions represents a unique solution taking into account a wide variety of historical image media, enabling their professional diagnostics, pre-acquisition exploration and the digitization itself corresponding to high quality standards. An extraordinary benefit of its solution is the interconnection of acquisition practice, acquisition and storage of media and metadata, knowledge from historical research and conservatory records with a view to their further distribution and making available within one system. In addition, the pilot plant is designed with an emphasis on interoperability and interconnection with other collection systems within the local network and the Internet. As such, it can be a model solution for similar services operating in the same field, or it can serve in the future as a service platform guaranteeing the achievement of high standards.
The role of fermions and bosons in magnetic resonance imaging
ADAMEC, Filip
Abstract Currently, there are only partial theories describing the role and application of fermions and bosons in magnetic resonance imaging, but there are no interdisciplinary theories. I believe, that by combining diverse disciplines (physics, mathematics and the medical nature of MR), an interdisciplinary theory may emerge, that can also be used as a material to deepen the knowledge of future or already active radiologists in radiological physics and magnetic resonance imaging. The following objectives have been set for this Bachelor thesis: Global target: Creation of an expert description of the role of fermions and bosons in magnetic resonance imaging using interdisciplinary communication. Sub-objectives: C1: Data processing - physics of elementary particles C2: Data processing - classical form of electromagnetic field theory C3: Data processing - structure of magnetic resonance imaging C4: Data processing - quantum mechanics of protons Due to the goals of this bachelor thesis, the following hypotheses were made: H1: The classical dimension of the physical nature of MR can be created by comparison of the structure of magnetic resonance and the classical form of electromagnetic field H2: The quantum dimension of the physical nature of MR can be created by comparison of the structure of magnetic resonance and the quantum mechanics of protons H3: The role of fermions and bosons in the description of the physical nature of magnetic resonance can be described by the comparative structure of magnetic resonance and the quantum dimension of the physical substance of magnetic with the standard model of elementary particles and their interactions In the introduction to the theoretical part of the work, I dealt with elementary particles, their physics and mutual interactions. Furthermore, these particles were divided into fermions and bosons, which were described in more detail. I devoted another part of the theory to the classical form of the electromagnetic field, where I discussed mainly Maxwell's equations. The next part was devoted to quantum mechanics of particles and at the end of the theoretical part I focused on the medical part of magnetic resonance. The practical part compares the knowledge gained in the theoretical part of this work. The results were divided into two sections, according to established hypotheses. The results of this bachelor thesis point to the relatively crucial role of fermions and bosons in magnetic resonance imaging, thus confirming all three established hypotheses. The results of this bachelor thesis point out the relatively crucial role of fermions (electrons, protons) and bosons (photons, Cooper pairs) based on verified and accepted hypotheses.
Odměňování a motivace zaměstnanců
BARTMANNOVÁ, Veronika
The diploma thesis is focused on the remuneration and motivation of employees in a selected company. The theoretical part deals with motivational systems, theories and defines motivation. The practical part emphasizes the evaluation of the company, its remuneration system and employee motivation. With the help of a questionnaire survey, the satisfaction and knowledge of the employees of these systems and the possibilities of remuneration will be evaluated. The aim of the work will be to develop a proposal to improve the motivation system in the selected company.
Phenomena of Education Philosophy: Education and Freedom
VĚTROVCOVÁ, Natálie
This thesis deals with alternative forms of education, particularly with home education and community learning and development. The first part of the thesis defines the key terms and deals with contemporary theories of upbringing. The thesis also deals with the philosophical point of view of child's upbringing and tries to pin down the principle of upbringing. Furthermore it describes a family as a medium of child's upbringing and describes its functions. In the same way a school as an institution and its function in child's upbringing are described. The thesis discusses primary education. The second part of thesis is dedicated to alternative forms of education, mainly the individual education. The thesis explains the term individual education and describes the home and community learning and development in the Czech Republic and throughout the world. Furthermore the thesis brings up advantages and disadvantages of such forms of education. The last part deals with the children's socialization within families, which bring them up at home.
Methodology of documentation, archiving and access for non-cinematographic works of art with audiovisual content
Klodner, Michal
The methodology is intended for museum and archival memory institutions that already manage or are interested in collecting moving image art for long-term digital preservation and access in digital form. Due to the obsolete nature of historical moving image media comprising a wide range of electromagnetic or optoelectronic image formats, the risks of degradation are increasing, while the availability of original playback devices is progressively more limited. The methodology provides a combination of existing archival standards and practices that are necessary or appropriate to apply in the field of moving image art in order to guarantee the trustworthiness of the archival record and the entire curatorial process.

A comparison of selected anthropological theories in view of their pragmatic value
Hájek, Daniel ; Vrhel, František (advisor) ; Jakoubek, Marek (referee)
The study deals with the problem of applicability of two anthropological theories, structural functionalism and interpretive anthropology of Clifford Geertz. By applicability is meant what concrete difference using of one or the other theory brings about in ethnography. Each of the theories is at first thoroughly examined with emphasis on its possible aims, assumptions, and consequences for an ethnographer. Then each theory is put to test in examination of one particular ethnography associated with the theory. Evans-Pritchard's The Nuer serves as an instance of structural functionalism. Clifford Geertz's Negara as an example of interpretative analysis. Structural functionalism is shown to provide an ethnographer with a much more definite guidance which contributes to better possibilities of verification and comparability of the results than interpretive anthropology. Apart from the main subject, the study is concerned with more general questions, especially related to non-existence of a paradigm in anthropology and some of its causes.
Revolution as a theoretical problem
Opl, Jakub ; Kučera, Jan (advisor) ; Novák, Miroslav (referee)
The bachelor thesis analyzes the topic of revolutions, primarily its theoretical use. In introduction, there is explained for which events the word revolution is ordinarily used and in what sense the author of this work uses the term. In first chapter thesis outlines the emergence of the word revolution in ancient times and also understanding of the word by contemporaries. There is also analysis of the shift in using of the word revolution as the result of American and French revolutions. Second chapter aims on first theorists of revolutions in 19th century with focus on Karl Marx, Alexis De Tocqueville and Vladimir Iljič Lenin. In third chapter author summarizes the development of the study of revolutions between world wars and in fourth, there is analysis of the study of causes of revolutions after World War II. In that time revolutions were in the centre of attention of researchers in the field of social sciences. Fifth chapter deals with European revolutionary process as set forth by Martin Malia. In conclusions, author reflects on the causes of revolutions and if there is one general model including all events ordinarily called revolutions and what is the meaning of the study of revolutions for present.
Theories of art evaluation
Neubert, Jiří ; Petříček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Dadejík, Ondřej (referee)
(EN) Evaluation is an inextricable part of perceiving artworks and therefore it is necessary to study it. Evaluation is always an evaluation of something, it presupposes certain knowledge and idea of what is being evaluated. Evaluation presupposes conceptualization. If we want to say something about art or better of our experience of it and want to be understood and believed, we will need to study our conceptual equipment we use. This paper offers a conceptual minimum, being important, almost inevitable for the evaluation of art. All encounters with art are connected to the consideration of authorship. Concept of the author seems to be with the concept of art more then adherent. Nowadays authorship flounders between complete sovereignty and dissolution. There are theories of artworks, that leave or even protest against the connection between art and author. Art has a long tradition, but the contemporary notio of art is relatively young and conceptually very much laden. On the one side there is ignorance of its character, on the other there are tendencies to fix it forever. Man understanding art as an expression, perceives, looks for meaning and evaluates differently, then the one understands art as an institutinally given status. The manners of thinking art are decisive. The concept of art depends...
