RESUMÉ The purpose of this thesis was to outline the current state of catechesis in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and basic regularities of the andragogic discipline as the science of adult education. We put these findings in the context of adult life, which is based in the postmodern era and secularized society. We interpret the Word of God in the theology of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church and pointed out the personal / personalistics dimension of the relationship between man and God In the third chapter, we introduce catechesis as a theological discipline. The description of the...

Ambrosio, Šárka ; Kučera, Zdeněk (advisor) ; Vogel, Jiří (referee)
Manželství z křesťanského pohledu Marriage from a Christian Perspective Šárka Ambrosio This work is based on the provisions of the biblical creation of man (as male and female) and the concept of marriage in the New and Old Testament. I reflected on the legal status of marriage in modern society and the provision of marriage according to the order of the Roman Catholic Church, the Czechoslovak Hussite Church society and the Christian community center as well as comparing their views on marriage and their wedding ceremonies. This literal work is divided into two parts. The first section is a biblical description of marriage from the old and new testament and its perspective regarding marriage from these three individual churches. The second section describes ten moral values of a healthy Christian marriage from my own personal observations and studies from the Bible. This chapter may be an inspiration to many people and to their marriages. The various questions about marriage are answered in the Bible. Every marriage has the chance to resolve its own issues for a healthy and satisfying relationship. The aim of this work was not only to describe marriage from the three different Churches, but also to show people that if two individuals share a common faith and have core values, the greater chance they...
The Conception of the Diaconate in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church
KLABOUCH, Martin
The work deals with the founding and history of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church from its beginning to the present. It also describes the meaning and history of social work and its irreplaceable and important role in the Church, specifically in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. In social work it does not matter whether it is provided with a church, state or non-state institution, but whether the work is done with love and willingness to help others. In the study there is also introduced a social worker Berta Mildová - Bílková, to whom social work has become her life´s dedication. There is described characterization of respective institutions under Diakonie and the missions of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. One of them is the centre of Nazaret, which offers its clients quality services and leisure activities, aiming for easing the integration of people with disabilities into the society.
The Transfer Movement in Pisek (1918 - 1922)
MATOUŠOVÁ, Věra
The thesis deals with the religious life in the town of Pisek in the time period of 1918 - 1922. The first part considers religious circumstances in the context of creation and development of the Czechoslovak Republic. It pays special attention to the so called "cultural struggle" when two trends of progress were consolidated - "away from Habsburgs" and "away from Rome". The text draws connection between the reform movement within the Catholic Church and formation of the Czechoslovak Church. It briefly characterizes the changes in evangelical churches and describes the Transfer Movement phenomenon in concurrence with the census. The second part focuses on specific expressions of the Transfer Movement in the town of Pisek. It uses data found in Church sources, records of announced withdrawals and transfers kept by religious organisations and in the period press. In the core of this section is the confrontation of activities and viewpoints carried out by representatives of three churches - the Catholic, the Czechoslovak and the one of Czech Brethren.
