Práce se zabývá postavením diakonické práce v Církvi československé husitské. Popisuje také význam a historii křesťanské sociální práce a její nezastupitelnou a důležitou úlohu v církvi, konkrétně v Církvi československé husitské. V sociální práci nezáleží na tom, zda je poskytována církevním, státním či nestátním zařízením, ale na tom, zda je práce vykonávána s láskou a ochotou pomoci druhým. Dále je v práci představena sociální pracovnice Berta Mildová - Bílková, pro kterou se sociální práce stala celoživotní náplní. Je zde popsána drobná charakteristika jednotlivých zařízení, spadajících pod Diakonií a misií Církve československé husitské. Jedním z nich je také středisko Nazaret, který svým klientům nabízí kvalitní služby a volnočasové aktivity, snažíce se tím o snadnější integraci osoby s handicapem do společnosti. The work deals with the founding and history of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church from its beginning to the present. It also describes the meaning and history of social work and its irreplaceable and important role in the Church, specifically in the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. In social work it does not matter whether it is provided with a church, state or non-state institution, but whether the work is done with love and willingness to help others. In the study there is also introduced a social worker Berta Mildová - Bílková, to whom social work has become her life´s dedication. There is described characterization of respective institutions under Diakonie and the missions of the Czechoslovak Hussite Church. One of them is the centre of Nazaret, which offers its clients quality services and leisure activities, aiming for easing the integration of people with disabilities into the society.
