Drápal, Michal ; Šťastný, Jiří (referee) ; Roupec, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on comparison of sensored and sensorless control of 3phase BLDC motor. This diploma thesis was compiled with engineers from Honeywell, spol. s r. o. and NXP Semiconductors comapny. Theoretical part of the diploma thesis is describing princip of function BLDC motor and different methods of control. The testing of NXP sensored and sensorless application is done in the practical part. Regarding to the fact, that applications were provided by NXP, furthemore the diploma thesis additionally contains a state machine using sensorless application from NXP. Finally, the author is evaluating a cooperation with NXP company and he thinks about next possible cooperation.
High Voltage Pulse Generator for Electroporation of Cells
Puczok, Václav ; Martiš, Jan (referee) ; Červinka, Dalibor (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to design control board for the experimental electroporation device and to develop control firmware. The first chapter of this work focuses on the electroporation phenomenon itself. Behaviour of the cell model in external electrical field is described there as well as simulation and overview of how electroporation affects living tissue. It also explains the main requirements for parameters of the electroporation pulses as well as need for ECG synchronization. Furthermore, some remarks are given about novel high frequency electroporation method, which involves use of nanosecond bipolar high voltage pulse bursts. The second chapter briefly introduces commercial electroporation device called Nanoknife, including control part, power part, and it's limits. The third chapter consists of introduction of the novel experimental electroporation device developed at BUT. Power part of this device is discussed as well. Next chapter focuses on design of the control board for this device and also on description of the particular schematic parts. There is a control algorithm explanation in the fifth chapter of this thesis followed by the brief manual to machine operation.
Entrance and security systems
Kohut, Michal ; Šedivá, Soňa (referee) ; Fiedler, Petr (advisor)
During writing this bachelor labour I strived to describe some entrace and security systems and their parts. Also some functions and usage of these systems were consecrated and there was introduced their division. I concerned also with observing of preventive exchanges, their properties and operating. The last part describe state machine of security central. It is diveded to 4 smaller state macines which were all tested using IAR visualSTATE program.
Browser Game with Artificial Intelligence
Moravec, Michal ; Volf, Tomáš (referee) ; Bartík, Vladimír (advisor)
Thesis describes design and implementation of a web browser game, which can be played by multiple players via the internet. The main goal is to manage the economy, although players can cooperate (trading) or play against each other (battles). NoSQL database is used for persistent storage of progress, which is also described in the thesis. Apart from human players there are also agents/bots, which play the game autonomously via state machines generated by genetic algorithms. Paper describes design and functionality of either the genetic algorithms, but also the state machines.
Design and implementation of the control for the robotic cell
Mbontar, Patrik ; Pochylý, Aleš (referee) ; Kubela, Tomáš (advisor)
This master´s thesis thesis deals with the design of software for the control of a robotic cell, which consists of two KUKA robots and a belt conveyor. The robots will perform robotic operations similar to those in real industrial practice. At the beginning of the work will be the state of current knowledge. A key part will be the design of software for robotic cell control in the TwinCAT environment from Beckhoff. The robots and the conveyor will be controlled by a superior PLC, which will be commanded from the designed software using the HMI. The goal is to successfully implement the proposed software for robotic cell control and monitoring using a unique visualization, which will be designed specifically for the robotic cell and its associated manipulation operations.
Control of sliding window in passenger car
Keprt, Jaroslav ; Vejlupek, Josef (referee) ; Lamberský, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the installation of power electronics on the PCBdesign and control algorithm for the DC-motor function, which is part of the window motion control system for a passenger car. The paper describes the principles of function state machines that are easily programmed using Stateflow and implementation of control algorithm in the PIC microcontroller. The control program is designed in Simulink and Stateflow its superstructure using Kerhuel Toolbox.
Tools for Automating the Workflow Processes
Vančura, Tomáš ; Macho, Tomáš (referee) ; Holek, Radovan (advisor)
The the thesis deals with tools for workflow processes automation. It describes in general what workflow is. It also briefly describes tools such as MS BizTalk Server, SAP NetWeaver, IBM WebSphere, ORACLE BPEL. The main part deals with Windows Workflow Foundation. This tool is decribed in detail together with its parts workflow runtime, workflow instances and workflow activities. One part of the thesis is a application, which uses all the possibilities of Windows Workflow Foundation.
Functional HIL testing of an electronic control unit
Štramberský, Jan ; Appel, Martin (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This thesis deals with the functional HIL testing of a universal electronic control unit. The control unit is graphically programmed in an application in which it is possible to create state machines with pre-programmed functions. Within the scope of this work, a HIL test of the unit has been created. Signals are exchanged between the unit and PC using an input/output card. The PC runs the HIL test script in Matlab. This test verifies the firmware of the unit by checking the expected behaviour of the functions and the conditions of the transitions.
Uncertainty of vehicle dimension measurement using 2D lidar
Želinský, David ; Richter, Miloslav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the explanation of terms such as measurement error and uncertainty of measurement. It also introduces the term LiDAR, describes its construction, how it works and what it can be used for. The information from the theoretical part of this thesis is then used to analyze the uncertainties of measuring the dimensions of vehicles using 2D LiDAR. The individual measurement uncertainties are explained and calculated on an example. Furthermore, a LabVIEW program is created, which calculates the dimensions of the vehicle and the uncertainties of these dimensions from measured data. Finally, the results of the program are compared with real dimensions. The thesis is elaborated for the company Cross Zlín.
Stepper motor control using CPLD
Daněk, Jan ; Kolouch, Jaromír (referee) ; Kováč, Michal (advisor)
The aim of my bachelor thesis was the control of CPLD stepper motor. To create a radio controlled antenna rotator. The controlling is done by a computer using RF circuits. The thesis includes a construction and principles of stepper motor. Basic structures of CPLD circuits were applying to create the control circuit. The possibilities of sensing the position and the data storage circuit were discussed. The control program in VHDL was implemented in development boards. The development board is connected to radio receiver circuit and the stepper motor driver. A transmitting board was connected to a personal computer or other device using RS232 interface. Printed circuit boards for transmitter and receiver circuits were created. The PC program was designed for data transmission. The program sends data and communicates via RS232 interface.
