Analysis of media coverage of the Ondřej Kúdela and Glen Kamara case

The bachelor thesis focuses on the media coverage of the Ondřej Kúdela and Glen Kamara case in selected Czech media. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on various aspects of the relationship between sports, media and racism. It describes the interconnections and issues of these three variables. It presents the efforts of sports associations to combat racism and promote inclusion in the field of sports. In the section on the connection between culture and sport, it examines the transformation of sport and its very function within culture. It then describes the role of the media in sports. The next chapter focuses on the influence of the media in shaping and reinforcing racial stereotypes in football. The theoretical part concludes by introducing the media under study. In the practical part, the thesis focuses on the depth of information presented, emotionality, representation of perspectives, multimedia and audience engagement. The results of the analysis are applied to the research questions and a conclusion is drawn.

Title: Aggression and violent attitudes of football fans Slavia Praha Object: There is aim of this project to find out and write about negative demonstrations of football fans of Slavie Prague clu band thein stance to aggresse during football matches. How often and what form of violence we can meet at them and what leads them to mentioned action. They do not harm only thein club but also the others at the stadium. Do they really interest in sport or it is only means for venting their aggresse. Methods: The following methods were used in this project: explorative pre-research and quantitative research work. I concentrated on stances of fans which take part in football matches in my pre-research. I will bring up some questions electronicly and in writing. There I'll use my personal contacts for completing some questionaires at fans of Slavie Prague club. I will try to involve some most fans to that action because then I'll be able generalize it for whole base of the fans of the club. Results: On condition if fans of Slavie Prague club are aggressive in investigated manifestations or not it is confirmed the fact that the fans of SK Slavie Prague are not aggressive in next mentioned manifestations. Comparison of Media Coverage of Football Club SK Slavia Praha at the Close of 2013/14 and 2018/19 Seasons in Selected Media

Bachelor thesis Media Image of Football Club SK Slavia Praha at the Close of 2013/14 and 2018/19 Seasons in Selected Media looks into the media content of Mladá fronta DNES, Právo, and Sport altogether with Nedělní Sport. Among the three selected newspapers are two broadsheet papers and one that specializes in the sport. The research is conducted on two periods in 2014 and in 2019. In the first one, Slavia Praha successfully attempted to avoid relegation from the Czech top division, in the second one the club dominated domestic football, winning both league and cup trophies. The thesis tries to confirm or to disprove the hypothesis, that the improvement of the club's performances corresponded with the increase of published media content concerning the club. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the past and the present of sports journalists are described. Also, SK Slavia Praha is introduced. The content analysis examines the media content of selected newspapers and strives to find similarities and differences between the media products in the particular years and the particular newspapers.
