Radvan Bahbouh, PhD. 2 ABSTRACT: This diploma thesis deals with methods of achieving goals and methods of increasing efficiency within the postponed activities in the context of self-coaching and self-management and this specifically for university population, which is indicated by the high prevalence of this phenomenon. The strategy of "small steps" or "quick wins" is described as possible self- coaching and self-management intervention. The validity of Procrastination scale is verified within the overview study by comparison with different studying strategies divided into those with and without delay. At the same time the techniques increasing students' efficiency are mapped, based on their subjective responses. Within the experimental study is then verified "efficient sprint" method, as a strategy of intense concentration on a short-term actions to achieve the goal. Time frame of the director of kindergarten

The thesis called "The time frame of the director of kindergarten" deals with time analysis of directors in kindergartens. It comes out of basic knowledge of time management and the area of self-management. Further on it sees the time frame as one the techniques for successful time analysis. The integral part of the thesis is the research focused on a composition and a range of the various activities of the kindergarten director, which are related to her status. This thesis is an offer how to attain better time management with suitable methods and how to find a balance in between job satisfaction and a personal life. Issue of taking leave for teaching and non-teaching staff

This bachelor degree thesis deals with the planning of annual leave for teaching and non-teaching staff and with their taking leave in different types of schools and educational establishments in the district of Havlíčkův Brod run by municipalities, in relation to valid legal regulations. It is based on the assumption that annual leave is planned for the purpose of using up all leave of all employees in the year when they are entitled to take it. The thesis summarizes the reasons for which not all annual leave is taken, looks at the compliance with legal regulations and tries to find out in which parts of schools and in which categories of staff the biggest problems with taking annual leave arise and how this affects the school budget. The results of the research survey could be applied in the vocational education of headmasters and headmistresses.
Metacognition in curriculum and its support in school teaching

Irena Lhotková Ph.D. Abstract: This bachelor's thesis deals with problems of self-management of a newly qualified kindergarten headmistress. It is focused on issues of correct prioritization, awareness of own strengths and weaknesses, adequate delegation, effective time management, planning and possibilities of education for a headmistress. The target of this bachelor's thesis is to map, identify and analyze the most common problems in the area of self-management of a newly qualified headmistress in the kindergarten and suggest optimal possibilities how to reduce or eliminate these problems. The practical part of this thesis is based on research method. 109 headmistresses of Prague kindergartens were interviewed through electronic questionnaire. On the basis of this research three statements were confirmed and only one statement was partially disproved. Motivation of Entrepreneurs in the Field of Language Education

This diploma thesis deals with motivation of entrepreneurs to carry on business in the field of language education and motivation for development of business activity. The theoretical part of the thesis defines fundamental concepts of motivation and entrepreneurship as well as other concepts linked to the self-management of entrepreneurs. The practical part of the work focuses on research conducted firstly through personal interviews with the founders of language schools and secondly through a questionnaire survey of teachers of foreign languages doing business under a trade license. Data are collected based on this research and their subsequent analysis leads to the evaluation of business motivation and its comparison between these two groups of entrepreneurs. Conclusion of the work then includes own proposals aiming to increase the motivation in the business activity.
Application of 7 habits by Stephen Covey in practice in company Green Ways

Impulse to write master's thesis was effort to use knowledge from book "7 habits of highly effective people" by Stephen Covey in practice in company Green Ways. Experiment was chosen as method of research. The goal of master's thesis was verifying hypothesis that certain volume of (non)work activities should lead to better work results in concrete amount. Experimental stimulus as (non)work activities influenced experimental group (10 people from company Green Ways) but did not infulenced control group (another 10 people from company Green Ways). Research lasted from the 2nd September till 3rd November 2013. As conclusion it was realised that hypothesis was not confirmed. This certain volume of activities did not lead to supposed work results (quantitative results). As people from experimental group are concerned, side effect of research for them were different findings from (non)work topics (qualitative results of survey).
Creativity and innovation in self-awareness and self-management

This bachelor's work addresses the theme of self-awareness and self-management, their creative methods and implementation. The aim of this work is to represent and express the importance of knowing one's self and to show the important role of self-management in the every day life of people. Different practical tools and methods which can contribute to higher performance and success are described as well. The first part of this work contains theoretical knowledge about creativity and innovation, self-awareness and self-management and the assessment of effective goals; the emphasis is dedicated to one particular tool and method which could contribute to the improvement of people's performance and perfection. The practical part of this bachelor's work continues with working out the theoretical part and is founded on research which aims to confirm whether students in universities are concerned about self-awareness and self-management; and in the cases where they are, to which degree are they using these particular tools and methods. Following the results, an interpretation of the research is formulated in advantageous suggestions and recommendations.
Mental hygiene in managerial practice

This diploma thesis focuses on problems of mental hygiene in the current managerial practices. The theoretical part reveals to readers basic concepts and background to this isme for more understanding. It deals gradually with the role of mental hygiene in an individual life, self-knowledge and selfmanagement, and last but not least, managerial practice. The main practical part presents three case studies, relating to mental hygiene and its application in the world of managers. Research objective is trough a semi-structured interviews with managers to identify to which extent they apply mental hygiene in personal and professional life. After the discovery of deficiencies will attempt to find concrete advice and recommendations needed to improve some of the monitored questions. Finally will be respondents collating and analyzing each other. The main contribution of this thesis is a real insight into the life of managers and the discovery of the importance and the role attributed to mental hygiene.
