Default Risk Modeling in Chemistry Industry
Jedlička, Jaromír ; Czekus, Robert (referee) ; Režňáková, Mária (advisor)
My thesis is focused on the presentation of a scoring model for companies in chemical industry with use of cluster analysis methods. There is a description of financial risks, financial analysis indicators and models which are used to evaluate financial risks of a company. There is also a mathematical description of hierarchical cluster methods.
Improved Prediction of Social Tags Using Data Mining
Harár, Pavol ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with using Text mining as a method to predict tags of articles. It describes the iterative way of handling big data files, parsing the data, cleaning the data and scoring of terms in article using TF-IDF. It describes in detail the flow of program written in programming language Python 3.4.3. The result of processing more than 1 million articles from Wikipedia database is a dictionary of English terms. By using this dictionary one is capable of determining the most important terms from article in corpus of articles. Relevancy of consequent tags proves the method used in this case.
Development of pharmacophore-guided molecular docking protocol for design of SARS-CoV-2 main protease inhibitors
Klenor, Mikuláš ; Lepšík, Martin (advisor) ; Riedlová, Kamila (referee)
Covid-19 is a highly contagious potentially life-threatening disease caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. The virus is responsible for a global pandemic and has claimed over 6 million human lives between years 2020 and 2022. To limit the spread of SARS-CoV-2, numerous vaccines have been developed and applied. For already infected individuals, antiviral drugs are applied. An important validated target is the main protease of SARS-CoV-2 (Mpro ). Although thousands of inhibitors have been prepared and one is used in clinical practice (sold under the name of Paxlovid), improved computational protocols to design new active compounds are needed. The computational approach used here is based on pharmacophores. By curating and inspecting 298 structures of Mpro /inhibitors complexes retrieved from the Protein Data Bank (PDB), we have generated six distinct pharmacophores featuring different binding modes. With their aid, we have carried out molecular docking, whose effectiveness was evaluated by measuring root-mean-square deviation (RMSD) of the generated poses with respect to the native conformations. The routine captured 177 out of 213 ligands naturally binding to the active site of the protein with 127 (72% of the captured) generated with RMSD within 2 Å relative to the native conformation....
Analysis of Final Scores in Czech Video Game Media
Svoboda, Filip ; Houška, Jan (advisor) ; Švelch, Jaroslav (referee)
In a video game review, it is common to include a numerical recommendation rating in addition to a textual evaluation of the product (game). How (on what scale and how to use such scale) and whether to evaluate numerically or otherwise is a subject of extensive debate in the video game journalism context. The thesis aims to answer the question of how video game reviewers perceive the problematic aspects of the final scores through the interviews with Czech game reviewers. It compares the findings with each other and provides context. It also maps how scoring systems have changed over time.
Mathematics in the world of sports
DOČEKALOVÁ, Lenka
The diploma thesis deals with mathematics in the world of sports. The aim was to show how important mathematics is for sport and its great use. The work was divided into two parts. In the first, we discuss the athletic decathlon in detail. Specifically, we deal with the scoring system, the increase of points, percentage differences and the influence of individual performances in different disciplines. The text should also serve as advice for decathlete coaches, in which direction they should lead their training for the improvement of their charges. The last part of the chapter is dedicated to comparing the results of the best decathletes. The second part analyzes biathlon. Again, the main content of the work is the adjustment of scoring systems and various strategies of biathletes, in which we also include the influence of external conditions. The work deals only with endurance races and sprints for a total of eight selected competitors. At the end of the thesis there are also hints and tips for improving the performance of competitors.
The comparison of learning process for shooting and scoring in Czech and abroad youth ice-hockey team U9 -U15
Pastyřík, Marek ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Kregl, Jan (referee)
Title: The comparison of learning process for shooting and scoring in Czech and abroad youth ice-hockey team U9-U15 Objectives: The main objective was to collect information about learning process for shooting and scoring in Czech and abroad team and on the basis of this knowledge to qualitatively and quantitatively compare learning process for shooting and scoring. Methods: To gather information, a method of guided interview with head coaches of the observed categories was used, followed by direct observation of at least four on- ice training units during two weeks and at least one off-ice training unit containing shooting of each observed category. Results: Key differences include the higher number of shooting attempts by the abroad team players within one week, the creation of a team concept for the development of individual skills and the involvement of a dedicated shooting coach in all youth categories. Keywords: Ice hockey, shooting, scoring
The notation analyses of goals during ice-hockey word championship 2021 in U20 category
Janoušek, Jakub ; Šťastný, Petr (advisor) ; Vojta, Zdeněk (referee)
Objectives: The ai m of this diploma thesis is to analy s e goals scored in WJC 2021 and comparison countrie s . The second aim is to detect the biggest demerits of czech hockey from scoring view point w ith the help of this facts and inspire other coaches to more intensive work a greed with wold trend in this topic and the aim to return czech hockey to the best hockey countries group. Methods: The research was carried out by indirect observations 28 matches and 176 scoring situations through video records from WJC 21. The subject of research were 10 teams, that selected 88 scorers. Scoring situations were qualitative analyse. Gained findings have been written down into chart and were quantitative analyse. Results: The outcome of analyse is the most used scoring place Low slot - 0 - 10ft in front of the goal and with the most used location of successfull shot - middle of the goal on the ice or close over the ice creates the most used way to score. From w rist shot - forehand side came the most of goals in WJC 21. Analyse proved demerits o f Czech national team U20 in scoring by tip - in and rebound. The result of analyse also proved demerits of Czech select in power play and short - handed play. Keywords: Ice hockey, WJC 21, shooting, scoring, scoring range, shooting metodology
Hodnocení bonity klientů při získávání úvěru v bance
Šlapalová, Anežka
The diploma thesis is focused on the appreciation of clients' creditworthiness in obtaining loans at Komerční banka, a.s., which is one of the largest and most widely used banks in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into literary research and practical part. Literary research characterizes and explains the basic concepts of credit management and credit analysis. There are described different methods and models for assessing the creditworthiness of clients, which are further used in the practical part and are the basis for assessing the client's creditworthiness. The second part of the thesis analyzes Komerční banka, a.s., where its loan products are analyzed, and specific credit processes and credit analyzes are explained in model cases.
