This bachelor thesis deals with the teaching of chemical calculations at primary schools from the perspective of chemistry teachers. The theoretical part describes different types of curriculum, the system of curricular documents in the Czech Republic and abroad. Furthermore, the bachelor thesis deals with the selection of the basic curriculum, the influence of textbooks on the implemented curriculum and approaches to curriculum creation. The practical part introduces the methodology of the Delphi study which was used to collect the data. The aim of this thesis was to use the chosen method to find arguments why teachers include chemical calculations in chemistry lessons and to what extent. Another aim was to find out the ideal number of lessons that teachers would like to devote to the topic and contrast the stated outputs of RVP and SVP the schools of teachers included in the research sample. In research thirteen teachers with different length of experience and different educational backgrounds participated. A three-round Delphi was used to obtain data on the number of lessons, arguments and the scope of the topic of chemical calculations. The results of the work show that teachers would devote 5 teaching lessons to the topic of chemical calculations in the range of mass fraction, amount of...
Extension of Apache Tika with Industrial File Formats Text Extraction
Rešetár, René ; Burget, Radek (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor's thesis was to extend the parsers of the Apache Tika project with data and table extraction from industrial document formats from laboratory instruments. These data will be stored in a structured format according to a certain scheme. In the theoretical part, the supplied industrial formats, the Apache Tika project and the possibilities of its expansion were examined. In the practical part, a tool was designed and implemented, which classifies documents using the Apache Tika project, processes them, creates structured data from them in the JSON format and subsequently validates them. Finally, a set of tests was created to verify and demonstrate the properties of the solution.
Post-quantum cryptography on constrained devices
Matula, Lukáš ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
In recent years, there has been a lot of technological development, which among other things, brings the designs and implementation of quantum computing. Using Shor’s algorithm for quantum computing, it is highly likely that the mathematical problems, which underlie the cryptographic systems, will be computed in polynomial time. Therefore, it is necessary to pay attention to the development of post-quantum cryptography, which is able to secure systems against quantum attacks. This work includes the summary and the comparison of different types of post-quantum cryptography, followed by measuring and analysing its levels of difficulty in order to implement them into limited devices, such as smart cards. The measured values on the PC are used to determine the most suitable implementation on the circuit card and then the verification method itself is implemented on it.

The Hurdy Gurdy Lesson at Art School
Moravcová, Lenka ; Hurníková, Kateřina (advisor) ; Váňová, Hana (referee)
The thesis focuses on playing the hurdy gurdy and materials dealing with this theme. The work first presents the historical background of this musical instrument, its development, mechanics and possibilities of the instrument. Furthermore, it processes and compares the literature available for players dealing with the topic of playing the hurdy gurdy. The main content of the work is the creation of methodical material for playing the hurdy gurdy suitable as an aid for teaching in the Art school environment, as well as study material for self-taught students. This material contains the necessary information that a player needs to know during the beginnings of the hurdy gurdy playing, i.e., information starting with the functions of the individual parts of the instrument, through the adjustment and maintenance of the instrument to the explanation of the playing the instrument itself separately for the right- and left-hand technique. It also includes sheet music with a repertoire of widely played pieces on the hurdy gurdy. The benefit of the methodology is also the Czech language in which it is written, which can supplement the necessary, but currently missing information about playing this instrument in the Czech environment. The material was used for the teaching of playing the hurdy gurdy in the...
Coordination chemistry education at secondary level schools
Navrátilová, Hana ; Míka, Luděk (advisor) ; Teplý, Pavel (referee)
1 Abstract This thesis deals with the analysis of teaching coordination chemistry at secondary schools. Coordination chemistry serves as a bridge between inorganic and organic chemistry, expands fundamental concepts and encourages students to think logically. Therefore, it has great importance in continuous chemistry education. The work examines the diversity of teaching methods and explains the disadvantages of teaching coordination chemistry, particularly in terms of nomenclature. It explains why this area is important for chemists. The study analyses the teaching of coordination chemistry in university teacher programs, in school educational programs, in model questions for admission exams for chemically-oriented programs in Prague, and lastly, it addresses the approach to coordination chemistry in secondary school textbooks. The aim of this work is to highlight the inconsistency of school educational programs in the teaching of coordination chemistry, why the teaching of coordination chemistry is limited to nomenclature, and the reasons behind it. Keywords coordination chemistry, school curriculum, educational program, chemistry education, secondary school.
Classification and analysis of retinal blood vessel pulsations
Kamar, Yana ; Kolář, Radim (referee) ; Odstrčilík, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the pulsation of the vascular bed on the retina. The goal was to automatically extract the pulsation curve (venous and arterial) from the fundus video, to find the diagnostically significant parameters of these curves and to propose algorithm for evaluating the parameters. The following method was chosen for venous pulsation: the area of the vessel and its surroundings was automatically selected inside the optical disc, the brightness of this area was averaged. For arterial: the brightness of the background of the vessels around the optic disc is averaged. Research was conducted on the topic of parameters to which the work will be devoted. The result is a set of pulse curves of both types. Conducted examination of the parameters of these curves (specifically amplitude). It is also possible to examine the phase shift of the curves relative to each other.
