Drawning test digitalization
Sűsserová, Martina ; Kolářová, Jana (referee) ; Janoušek, Oto (advisor)
This thesis deals with the digitalization of Rey-Osterrieth tracing drawing test. The first part describes the issue of drawing tests in psychology with focus on Rey-Osterrieth complex figure. Also there is designed way of line separation. The second part is devoted to the application designed to visualize the sequence of drawing and to evaluate its complexity. It also evaluates dynamic parametres of the drawing. In the last part of the thesis is the statistical evaluation of calculated parameters and designed normative.
Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure of eight years old children
Caltová, Eliška ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Goldmann, Petr (referee)
The thesis is focused on the use of the test Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure at eight years old children. The theoretical part contains a description of the development of cognitive functions. Further presentation of Rey-Osterrieth and Taylor Complex Figures, the possibility of administration, scoring and interpretation. A significant part presents Developmental Scoring System (DSS - ROCF). Empirical part introduces new tentative standards for children aged eight years, comparison of Rey-Osterrieth and Taylor complex figure, analysis of each phase of the test and elements, and comparison of Osterrieth's scoring system with Developmental Scoring System (DSS - ROCF). Our study revealed the following findings. Flynn effect has not been demonstrated in the Rey- Osterrieth complex figure, while the opposite trend was observed. There were found significant differences between Rey-Osterrieth and Taylor Complex Figures at eight years old children in recall trial, in copy trial can be both figures regarded as equivalent. Analysis of the various phases of the test gives guide for interpretation. A comparison of the two approaches provides an overview of the Development scoring system (DSS - ROCF). KEY WORDS Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure, Taylor Complex Figure, Flynn effect, Developmental Scoring Systém for the...
Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure at children with dyscalculia
Karasová, Michaela ; Kucharská, Anna (advisor) ; Sotáková, Hana (referee)
The aim of this bachelor's theses is to map and compare differences in performance in Rey- Osterrieth Complex Figure test between children with dyscalculia and children from normal population. The test is judged in two categories - copy and reproduction. Performance in these categories between two chosen groups of children is followed by statistical comparison to determine significant differences.
Executive functions of individuals with boderline personality disorder
Malíková, Vladimíra ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Smetáčková, Irena (referee)
The primary topic of this work is to describe the executive functions profile of people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. Neuropsychological methods of measurement are used such as the Rey-Osterreith Complex Figure Test and also the self-made scale for self-judgement, which investigates the daily activities of people diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. The aim of this work is to describe the main terms of Borderline Personality Disorder and the executive functions system, as viewed by current Czech and foreign literature, and also current international research. Within Borderline Personality Disorder we are interested in the diagnostic criterion of DSM-IV and ICD-10. We are also interested in its etiology. There are huge efforts to show the destructive consequences this diagnosis can have for the individual in their daily life activities. The term 'executive functions system' is here explained through the difficult definitions which vary from author to author. This work strives to explain the origin of the executive functions system, where the functions are placed and what their function is. It also focuses on the relation between executive functions system and Borderline Personality Disorder. The results of the Rey-Osterreith Complex Figure Test are compared with the...
The comparison of standardized testing and dynamic diagnostics of pupils with specific learning disabilities while using the Rey-Osterrieth complex figure
Baborová, Aneta ; Sotáková, Hana (advisor) ; Vídršperková, Lenka (referee)
The thesis deals with the comparison of standardized testing, and dynamic diagnostics of pupils with specific learning disabilities while using the Rey-Osterrieth complex figure. The thesis aimed to find out the advantages and disadvantages of dynamic diagnostics of pupils with specific learning disabilities while using the above-mentioned diagnostic tool. The implementation of research is based on the theoretical part, which consists of two large areas. These areas are standardized testing/dynamic diagnostics and specific learning/behavioral disabilities. The aspects that most correlate with the empirical part are highlighted. From the first area it is specifically the critique of standardized testing, dynamic diagnostics, the theoretical framework of dynamic diagnostics, the dynamic approach in consulting practice, and the critique of dynamic diagnostics. The second area concerns the types of specific learning disabilities, their social context, and specific behavioral disabilities. Research data were obtained using the Rey-Osterrieth complex figure and the WISC-III intelligence scale. The WISC-III intelligence scale was essential for determination of the research set, for the interpretation of the data based on cognitive profile, and for the negative interference in the testing using the...
Qualitative Approach to Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test in Psychological Assesment of Children
Bartošová, Eliška ; Soukupová, Tereza (advisor) ; Goldmann, Petr (referee)
The thesis is focused on the Qualitative Approach to Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure Test in Psychological Assesment of Children. Attention is paid to the classical qualitative Osterrieth's approach and the DSS-ROCF (Developmental Scoring System for the Rey-Osterrieth Complex Figure). The theoretical part contains the introduction of the method, history, approaches to administration and evaluation. In accordance with the developmental context of the method, psychological processes that determine performance in the test and guides to interpret children's qualitative performance are introduced. Finally, the concept of ADHD syndrome and the use of Rey-Osterrieth's complex figure for psychological assesment of attention deficit disorders are defined. The empirical part presents a qualitative assessment of performance in the test in children with ADHD and non-clinical children. It describes the methodology of the research and its conclusions, which are discuss. The results of this work provide guidelines for qualitative assessment of child performance in the ROCF test and its interpretation. It provides information about the test in the psychological assesment of attention disorders and extends the validity of Osterrieth's qualitative approach to the assessment of a group of children with ADHD. Part of...
