Automation of RC Models Control

This thesis is about controlling RC model with microcontroller ESP-32 through WiFi enabled mobile device with OS Android. Goal of this thesis is to make controlling RC model easier and more fun. Parts of this thesis are dealing with using pulse width modulation to control servos, creating a user interface and making a protocol for comunication between RC model and mobile device. Result of this work is application on OS Android, which sends instructions on microcomputer, that controls steering servo and elecromotor. System has predefined stunts on microcomputer and operator has a choice of defining custom stunt in application, which is send to microcomputer in series of individual instructions.

Energy use of biomass

The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is the research of different types of biomass, the survey of the technologies for electric power and heat production and the comparison of the present use of biomass in the Czech Republic. The thesis is concerned on the biomass definition, its parts and attributes. Then the technologies for energy use of biomass and biomass categories are mentioned. The last part of the thesis is devoted to the large power plant units in the Czech Republic using biomass and combined production of heat and electricity.

Energy use of biomass

The main task of this thesis is the research of different types of biomass, description of each technology subsequent to obtaining thermal energy for central sources of heat and the mapping of use biomass in a cogeneration production of electric energy and heat. The first part of this thesis deals with the creation and definition of biomass, chemical and physical properties, basic distribution and showing examples of individual representatives. The next part of this thesis describes various options of energy usage of biomass subsequent to obtaining energy for central sources of heat. The last part is concentrating to individual power units in Czech Republic, which exploiting biomass for cogeneration production electric power and heat.

Cultural-reference centre of Trenčín

The title of this master´s thesis is the elaboration of a design for a newly builded building of civil importance - a cultural center. Object is 3 storey, situated on the flat plot in the wider center of Trencin. The center includes a concert hall and facilities for training and recording musical productions. The concert hall forms the left part of the building and consists of a stage, adjacent auditoriums with 352 seats, communication spaces and backgrounds for needs of performance. On the right side there are facilities for testing and recording of music with its own facilities, an entrance hall with a café and a seating area. The construction system consists of a monolithic vertical and horizontal RC structure, complemented in a concert hall with a beam ceiling. The roof is flat in 2 levels, the facade and the envelope of the building is a combination of glass facade and the ETICS insulation system, the highest part of the building is created by cetris tiles. Drawing part is drawn in AutoCAD, other programs used (eg to calculate physical properties of structures etc.) are DEKsoft, WDLS.

Chassis design of the RC rally

The bachelor thesis deals with the chassis design of the radio-controlled model. This chassis should fulfil the conditions for the registration for the rally race series and be able to compete with the best models of other brands. At the same time it should be water and dirt resistant, be easily disassembled and amendable as well.

Proposal for RC Models Production

The bachelor thesis is focused on the production design for conversion from a basic model to a radio-controlled model. After the introduction, the second part of this thesis is made of a theoretical analysis of concepts related to planning and analysis of production. The following chapter is devoted to the current state of production, prototypes, available production equipment, and brief market analysis. The fourth chapter is about the production design for 3 model variants, mainly focused on the rate of workspace usages, place requirements, number of employees, material consumption, and is ended with a calculation of production costs. In the last chapter is designed production process evaluated for two cases.

Quadcopter design and utilization with the use of Arduino Due

This bachelor thesis is about design of usable prototype of quadrocopter using standard RC components, with Arduino Due control unit and gyroscope with MPU6050. Main goal is the fully functional prototype with feature for reduction of barriers collision possibility, using ultrasonic sensors. The first part of thesis is the description of each component and their cooperation. The second part describes final solution, flowchart, source code with problems arisen. Source code is written in programming language Arduino, which is based on Wiring language. Further the brief analysis of autonomous flight of quadrocopter is done, particulary with GPS module and possible brief design of this idea. Finally the analysis of basic options of telemetry transmission, such as GSM module, wi-fi, bluetooth, are analysed.

Design of a "Cyclist/Pedestrian Dummy" platform for testing advanced assistance systems

The aim of this master's thesis is to design a remote-controlled platform for testing advanced assistance systems in modern cars. The work focuses on the detailed construction of a robust undercarriage powered by electric motors. This undercarriage must be capable of carrying various dummies, such as a pedestrian, child, or cyclist, and withstand being overrun by a vehicle, which is verified using the finite element method. The thesis also includes the development of a specialized attachment system for dummies that minimizes potential damage to the tested vehicle. The result is a complete design of the platform, including a detailed description of the selection and integration of electronic components, providing a comprehensive basis for the manufacture of a testing prototype. The thesis is supplemented with drawing documentation.
