Time capsule
Ryzhakova, Margarita ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Ondrík, Jozef (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the topic of time capsules as a way of preserving the present and communicating with a future. Through the examination of existing time capsules in various contexts, the author attempts to redefine the boundaries of the time capsule concept. The observations also include cases where the content meets the criteria of a time capsule but is not perceived as such objectively. The author applies this exploration to subjectively define the concept to create a personal time capsule in a new media form, aiming to contribute to the discussion on the conception of time capsule boundaries. The created time capsule is a digital installation in augmented reality that people can view from posters displayed in public spaces.
Platforma pro podporu interaktivity ve výuce
Hofman, Dominik ; Bidlo, Michal (referee) ; Mrázek, Vojtěch (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the development of a system to support interactivity between listeners and presenters, aiming to increase the level of listener engagement and thus maintain their attention. The main goal of the work is to design and implement a~system to support the teaching of IT-oriented courses, the key element of which will be the possibility of inserting and editing program code. The platform is implemented in the form of a progressive web application. The application can verify the geolocation of the user, i.e. whether the listener is present at the faculty of information technology VUT. The presenter creates a quiz with questions and correct answers - this generates an access code for the quiz. Listeners use this code to join the quiz and wait for it to start. Afterwards, users are always presented with questions with individual answers, from which the listener selects the correct ones. After finishing the quiz, the presenter can view its detailed statistics. The work also includes verification of the functionality of the implementation and evaluation of their parameters from the point of view of functional and non-functional requirements. A questionnaire survey is used to evaluate the results, which provides information on the friendliness of the user environment and satisfaction with the application.
Development of a GPS tracking device for the specific needs of a tourist club
Němečková, Karolína ; Věchet, Stanislav (referee) ; Appel, Martin (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis focuses on the development of a GPS tracking device for specific needs of tourist club. First part summarizes available products on the market and technologies which can be used for creating such a device. The second part describes the concept, which outlines the exact function of the transmitter and receiver. It follows by describing selected electronics, printed circuit board design, program implementation and the manufacturing of enclosures. To demonstrate the functionality, tests of wireless communication, discharge characteristics and device consumption are performed.
A Hardware Platform for a Promotional Robotic Vehicle
Koláčný, Michal ; Burian, František (referee) ; Jirgl, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis serves as a feasibility test for the construction of a robotic vehicle, where its autonomous movement will be provided by a camera and QR code scanning, for the company B:TECH. Specifically, it deals with the interaction of the hardware platform of the robotic vehicle together with selected electrical components. It describes the design of the structure printed on a 3D printer and its electrical and mechanical components enabling movement. Furthermore, the work focuses on the selection of suitable electrical components related to the safety of operation in the form of sensors. A necessary part is also the control and coordination of the movement of the vehicle using control microcontrollers. Specific components and equipment are described in the following chapters. The result of the thesis is the creation of a hardware concept of an autonomous robotic vehicle.
QR code detection using deep learning
Černohous, Matěj ; Kříž, Petr (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design of an algorithm for detecting and decoding QR codes in images using deep learning techniques. The work involved the construction of 2 datasets, a YOLOv7 neural network model for detecting QR codes in images, a YOLOv4-tiny neural network model for detecting position markers of QR codes, and a Python program utilizing these models to read QR codes in images. For evaluation, the algorithm was compared with other options for QR code reading.
Replacement of QR Codes by Colored Matrices
Moc, Filip ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is about developing new color code for saving digital data in an image. In this report you can find informations about existing related technologies including some existing codes. You can also find here design of the new code and it's gradual improvements. There is also description of generation and recognition of this code. Finally there are results of experiments which demonstrates the success of all the work.
Secure data transmition using bar codes
Kratochvíl, Martin ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
The goal of this thesis was to create a system for visual data transmition using bar codes. It focuses mainly on the protection of the system against abuse. A mechanism was designed for the data transmition itself and the various security concepts. The most appropriate bar code for data transmition was selected on the basis of the analysis.
Barcodes Generation Library
Horáček, Tomáš ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Jošth, Radovan (advisor)
In the theoretical part of this thesis are described linear, stacked and 2-D Matrix barcodes. Practical part describes the barcode generation library and shows some example which demonstrate the usage of this library.
SAP Modul for Encoding Invoices to QR Codes
Švancar, Boris ; Hrubý, Martin (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The master's thesis deals with encoding payment data invoices into QR codes in accordance with the by square standard. The SAP system along with a process of encoding data into QR codes and by square PAY standard is introduced in my thesis. In compliance with the standard function module is designed for the SAP system which is in the ABAB language, using Smartforms form allowing the QR codes to generate the invoice. The module is then subjected to testing. The results are evaluated in conclusion of the master's thesis and a description of potential further development is assessed as a final step.
Evidence of Warehouse Stocks Using QR Codes
Rebro, Tomáš ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Volf, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design and create a web application for evidence of warehouse stocks. The application is optimized especially for mobile devices. The application creates an intuitive, graphically friendly user experience, easy warehouse stock search and QR code identification of stocks. The solution allows you to define your own stock categories, their attributes, stock placement through the warehouse map and view warehouse summary information.
