Communication Mix of a Specific Product

The thesis deals with the communication mix for a specific programme focused on space technology. The thesis specifies the theoretical knowledge in the field of marketing communication in general as well as the specifics of marketing communication for universities. The analytical part focuses on competition within Europe, semi-structured interviews with current students of the programme and then an interview with the manager of the Brno Space Cluster, a group of companies operating within the Brno space industry. Based on the analysis, a communication mix for the programme is proposed and a communication manual for the Space Application programme is placed at the very end of the thesis.

The Bachelor Thesis on the topic "The Draft Budget of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology" deals with the analysis of assembling the budget of this faculty. The theoretical part deals with the analysis of current legal regulation of the Czech public universities and their financing in general. Following this part, the practical part takes an insight into the assembling the budget for the Faculty of Fine Arts of Brno University of Technology, as well as the financing of artistic fields of study in artistic and non-artistic public universities and discusses their comparisons. Consequently, this work gives suggestions on the optimization of the faculty and its budgeting in next years.

Bachelor´s thesis deals with evaluation of the finance situation in students´ organization BEST Brno at Brno University of Technology. The aim of this work is to analyze earnings and expenditures, evaluate economy of the organization and propose recommendations for improvement of the organizations´ finance situation. This analysis results from theoretical background covered the first part of this works. In the second part of this study is presented analysis of earnings and expenditures and third part is focused on recommendations related to improvement of the financial situation in the students´ organization.

Naplňování cílů udržitelného rozvoje veřejných vysokých škol v České republice

The bachelor thesis deals with sustainable development of public universities in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to find out how universities are meeting the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), to identify their weaknesses in this area based on a comparison with leading international universities and to propose recommendations for improvement. The data were provided in the form of mapping forms by the UNILEAD project and subsequently processed through qualitative research in the MAXQDA program. Analysis of the data revealed that meeting of the goals varied across areas and from a university-wide perspective was mostly in the initiation phase. Through the output of the forms and comparison with leading international universities were identified weaknesses in their operational activities, particularly lack of finance and human resources, lack of strategy and responsible person, and inconsistency. In relation to the weaknesses were proposed recommendations to eliminate them – the establishment of a new position of sustainability manager or sustainability team and drawing up a strategic plan for sustainability. Once these steps are implemented, universities should see improvements in their sustainability performance.

Online communication of selected universities

This diploma thesis focuses on selected advertising campaigns (published during the academic year 2015/2016) by the universities in the Czech Republic with the highest impact. The goal of this thesis is to present the new ways of communication in digital marketing and to evaluate aforementioned campaigns based on usual principles of promotion among public and educational facilities in the Czech Republic. In order to understand the background the situational analysis and monitoring of current trends within the online advertisement were used. The main contribution is a set of recommendations that could be useful for any educational facility.
