The bachelor thesis Marketing of the Selected Sport Institution deals with the analysis of contemporary marketing state of the handball club Handball KP Brno and aims to propose suggestions for its improvement. The theoretical part introduces the subject matter of sports marketing and describes types of analyses such as PEST, Porter‘s five competitive forces and SWOT analysis that are used later on in the thesis. The suggestions for future practical use are based and created on conducting these analyses.

This diploma thesis deals with evaluation of the financial situation of the company ABC, a.s. from 2011 up 2015. The diploma thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part contains the theoretical knowledge from the professional literature that is subsequently applied to the company analysis. The company is introduced in the second part and there is also performed the strategic and financial analysis with the help of the selected methods. In the last part there are suggested the measure on the basic of the results of the analysis that should lead to the improvement of the existing financial situation of the company.

The most important chapter is the third, which describes suggestions of changes and steps to improve current marketing mix of the club. This thesis with title "Strategic Analysis of Company and Improvement Suggestions" deals with the theory and practice of strategic management. The theoretical part describes a general methodology of the strategic analysis of an enterprise from which the optimal strategic plan is generated. In the practical part a real company is analyzed, according to the methodology mentioned in the theoretical part. Complex analysis of its internal and external environment are carried out. Based on the acquired information the SWOT analysis is made, which serves as groundwork for developing appropriate strategy and comparison with the current strategic plan.
