Analysis of the competitive environment on the babysitting market

The foundation of this thesis is a personal business plan for a babysitting agency. This agency will enter the market as a new entity. In order to do so, it is necessary to explore this business market in a great detail. The analysis of such market should provide information which will then create the foundation for both strategic and operational marketing decisions. The goal of this thesis is to analyze the current state of the babysitting market and its main competitors in Prague in order to create a competitive strategy and marketing program for a new business. This analysis was done through the methodology of competition analysis using the process of competitive intelligence. Data have been collected in many different forms, one of them being semi-structured interviews. Ethics have been taken into consideration while doing this research. The outcome of this work is a competition strategy and the 6Ps marketing mix, which include the competition advantage.

Non-profit organization must work on creating of its strategy, visions and goals to be able to develop in the accordance with the period trends. To realize the planned activities this organization is necessary to have the adapted business plan that is used to evaluate business activities from the point of view of this viability and real operation. It is possible to say that the business plan with its all principles helps the organization to succeed in the dynamically developing society full of the opportunities and consequently connected risks with them. The goal of this work is to show the founding of the social enterprise in the sphere of services using the particular business plan and the importance of applying this tool in the scope of strategic development of the organization. Title: Business plan of founding a floorball academy Target of the work: Target of the work is to set up a business plan for founding a floorball academy, which will offer training services for children (summer camp, city camps, special training sessions). The work should bring the answers for essential question about possibility of founding floorball academy in the Czech Republic and show its rentability and sustainability. Methods: During processing the work were used following methods: description, document analysis, interviews with head methodist of Czech Floorball Marek Chlumsky, head coach of Florbal Chodov and founder of Rookie Camp David Podhrasky, representatives of floorball clubs and floorball camps, written inquiries on parents with children in target group for whom would bet he event prepared, Porter five forces analysis, PEST analysis, Results: The results demonstrate real use of business plan. Floorball environment has a large amount of young players, for which there is not a sufficient supply of training services outside the club, although the demand for such type of services yet exists. Title: Business plan of the use potential of the sports venues for the Psychiatric Institution of Bohnice. Objective: The thesis presents a business plan concerning a commercial use of the sport venue in the Psychiatric Institution of Bohnice. The objective is to provide information needed to the institute management for managerial decision as to the commercial use of sports venues in order to increase the income from additional activities. The issue for the institution management remains whether or not this business plan is to be put in place within the framework of additional activities by Governmental non-for-profit organisation or a civic association, of which the Psychiatric Institution of Bohnice is the founder. Methods: The methods applied in the diploma thesis are as follows: descriptive, comparative, financial and the SWOT analysis, and interview and a survey. The descriptive analysis focuses on the description of the sports venues' current condition, the comparative analysis deals with their competitiveness, the financial analysis covers varied financial flows of the project, the SWOT analysis determines the topical strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats of the business plan.
