Photorealistic Rendering
Lysek, Tomáš ; Kučiš, Michal (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis describes implementation of photorealistic method. The first part describes the procedures and techniques, that are used to display photorealistic scenes such as raytracing, radiosity or photon mapping and other techniques used in computer graphics. The second part of thesis is focused on evaluation of current state of problem. In this part is also described reason of choosing this topic and thesis assignment is there more specified. The last part of thesis is focused on implementation details of photorealistic method.
Animated Underwater Skybox Using OpenGL
Lagová, Lenka ; Kobrtek, Jozef (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the solution of animated underwater skybox using OpenGL. The work contains an introduction to OpenGL, describes graphic techniques which are used for rendering and describes methods for procedural generating of objects and textures.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Peňáz, Martin ; Tóth, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the solution of graphics intro with limited size of 64kB. The work describes methods used for creation of graphics intro. It deals with procedural generation, compiler settings and final compression by exe packer application.
Color correction of 3D model based on scene knowledge and light illumination
Dočkal, Michal ; Kopečný, Lukáš (referee) ; Chromý, Adam (advisor)
This thesis focus is on the design and verification of improvements for the RoScan robotic system texture module. RoScan is a robotic scanner for scanning and diagnosing the human body. In this thesis current texturing module of this system is described. Furthermore this thesis describes the theory of light, color and shading in computer graphics. Subsequently, improvments for RoScan texture module are proposed based on the said principles. The last part deals with the implementation of the test script in Matlab and the verification of the functionality of the proposed solution.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Marek, Jan ; Tóth, Michal (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a graphics intro with a limited size. It deals with methods used for its creation. The thesis describes methods used for reduction of size of executable files. Among them for example the use of prcedural generation and the use of exe packers. The created graphics intro has a size smaller than 64 kB.
Interactive OpenGL Demo
Chukir, Patrik ; Kobrtek, Jozef (referee) ; Milet, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis describe implementation of simple 3D game by OpenGL. The attention is paid to draft of this game and specific implementation, which is output of this work. In text of thesis is described usage of libraries Assimp , Bullet and IrrKlang . Assimp for loading  an .obj and .dae model file. Bullet for detection of collision and physics of scene. And IrrKlang for sounds. Furthmore thesis  deals with lighting, shadows and implementation of Skeleton animation . Part of thesis is dedicated to implementation of skybox and changing day and night. In last chapter are analyzed test of game.
Distributed Ray Tracing
Slovák, Radek ; Jošth, Radovan (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This project describes method for global display of distributed ray tracing. The method generates high quality and realistic two-dimensional images from mathematical specification of scene. The methods for solution of this issue are presented and analyzed. Integral part of this method - conventional ray tracing - is also presented.
Graphics Intro 64kB Using OpenGL
Obrtlík, Petr ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with issue of graphic intro with limited size. The work describes methods used for creating of graphic intro. It deals with procedural generation of objects and textures, simple generation of particles, rendering water surface with reflection and refraction, shadows, lighting, compiler settings and compression output file. The result is a cartoon landscape simulating progress of the day. Created graphic intro have size smaller than 64kB.
Fast Ray-Scene Intersection
Stříž, Martin ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Ray-tracing of 3-D scene is one of the contemporary used rendering methods. Altough it is not a photorealistic method, it produces results with high image quality. Main disadvantage of this method is that it needs a large amount of processing power. That is why various optimalizations must be implemented. This thesis is focused on spatial subdivision optimalizations, namely BSP and KD trees, and their comparsion.
Ray-tracing Using IPP Library
Kukla, Michal ; Havel, Jiří (referee) ; Hradiš, Michal (advisor)
Master thesis is dealing with design and implementation of ray-tracing and path-tracing using IPP library. Theoretical part discusses current trends in acceleration of selected algorithms and also possibilities of parallelization. Design of ray-tracing and path-tracing algorithm and form of parallelization are described in proposal. This part also discusses implementation of adaptive sampling and importance sampling with Monte Carlo method to accelerate path-tracing algorithm. Next part is dealing with particular steps in implementation of selected rendering methods regarding IPP library. Implementation of network interface using Boost library is also discussed. At the end, implemented methods are subjected to performance and quality test. Final product of this thesis is server aplication capable of handling multiple connections which provides visualisation and client application which implements ray-tracing and path-tracing.
