Výukový model turbodmychadla silničních vozidel
LIŠKA, Radek
This thesis deals with making 3D model of turbocharger, with possibility of using in teaching. Model will be designed with an attention on details a demonstration of the function itself in program Solidworks, where were all parts and assembly made. The work includes research in the field of air filling of the combustion engines, comparing the differences between atmospheric filling and supercharging. Overall, this work will contribute to better understanding and demonstration of the possibilities of usage in modern combustion engines.
Increasing Performance of Honda 1.6 Engine
Opluštil, Vít ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the description and performance of four-stroke internal combustion engine, an analysis of the options and finding the most effective treatment for a given engine type. In the next section the author deals with computational design turbochargers, chosen for the turbocharged engine modification. Next chapter of work is a design calculation for the choice of the turbocharger, is then constructed a mathematical model of a given engine in the Lotus Engine Simulation software and final results are presented.
Design of Intake manifold with variable length for experimental SI engine
Jelínek, Petr ; Svída, David (referee) ; Beran, Martin (advisor)
This thesis discusses of the intake tract four-stroke ignition internal combustion engine and the filling efficiency and opportunities to increase this efficiency and consequently to optimize the course of torque and power at the specified serial engine. 3D model is the last point of this thesis.
Performance optimisation of turbocharged engine for Formula Student
Overcharging of combustion engines
Vojtěšek, Aleš ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with outline the history of supercharging and dismantling of several major ways. In particular the use of mechanical supercharging and turbocharging, mentioning its positive and negative sides. Furhetmore, introducing of several versions of the combined supercharging and expected future developments.
LIMITS OF INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINES EFFICIENCY
Vondrák, Adam ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Vopařil, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis analysis the influences on overall efficiency of internal combustion engine, outlines the limits of its increasing and offers an overview of selected technologies of current research, that have a potential to decrease fuel consumption or production of harmful emissions in the future.
Supercharging of internal combustion engines
Vrána, Jan ; Jedelský, Jan (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
In supercharging are applied mainly two ways - turbocharging or charging using a mechanical compressor. The aim of thesis was to compare the ideal cycles of internal combustion engines with ideal cycle of supercharged engine, write down the main problems of supercharging, especially the border of self-ignition of fuel and detonation ignition, advantages and disadvantages of different methods of supercharging and its effect on engine efficiency. Further, there are given basic construction designs of turbochargers and air coolers and some special methods of supercharging and cooling.
Turbochargers with electric support
Žák, Ondřej ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis is aimed at supercharging combustion engines and comparison of different approaches in this field. There are mentioned mostly methods of multistage supercharging and turbocharging with electric support. Main subject of this paper is technology with future applications.
Intake system for internal combustion engines
Hadrava, Martin ; Zháňal, Lubor (referee) ; Vančura, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis is focused on the internal combustion engine intake systems. Emphasis is placed mainly on the construction and the various parts of the intake systems. The part of the work is also devoted to the different types of supercharging. At the end, the individual parts of the intake system are described further.
Modern trends in engine forced induction
Podhora, David ; Zubík, Martin (referee) ; Knotek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to summarize the fundamental knowledge about supercharging the combustion engines, whereas the emphasis is on the modern trends of this branch. The first two chapters are aiming at the basic principles and reasons for using the supercharging method. Further on, this thesis explains the individual elements of supercharging systems and their possible arrangement. The last part is disserting on the most actual modern trends at supercharging of the combustion engines.
