Při přeplňování se uplatnily především dva způsoby – přeplňování turbodmychadly nebo mechanickým kompresorem. Cílem práce bylo porovnání ideálních cyklů nepřeplňovaných motorů s ideálními cykly přeplňovaných motorů, uvést hlavní problémy při přeplňování, především hranice samovznícení paliva a detonačního spalování, výhody a nevýhody jednotlivých způsobů přeplňování a vliv přeplňování na účinnost motoru. Dále jsou v práci uvedeny základní konstrukční řešení turbodmychadel a chladičů stlačeného vzduchu a některé speciální metody přeplňování a chlazení. In supercharging are applied mainly two ways - turbocharging or charging using a mechanical compressor. The aim of thesis was to compare the ideal cycles of internal combustion engines with ideal cycle of supercharged engine, write down the main problems of supercharging, especially the border of self-ignition of fuel and detonation ignition, advantages and disadvantages of different methods of supercharging and its effect on engine efficiency. Further, there are given basic construction designs of turbochargers and air coolers and some special methods of supercharging and cooling.
