Information Architecture of Selected Digital Libraries Web Interface
Kvašová, Zuzana ; Souček, Martin (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jan (referee)
(in English): This thesis is dedicated to the analysis and evaluation of applied information architecture of two selected digital libraries - Manuscriptorium and Kramerius of the National Digital Library. Information architecture is one of several interconnected web design disciplines. For designing purposes, information architecture can be defined as a complex of elements and principles. Analysis and evaluation of the existing information architecture depends on its integration into the web sites context. The thesis contains theoretical part with definition of information architecture, its elements and principles of design. It describes evaluation methods of information architecture as a combination of qualitative and quantitative elements of web sites. Information architecture of digital libraries often means architecture of the system. The thesis contains a definition of a digital library and explains focus on access application. Testing of web usability is the best way of testing the information architecture of digital libraries. It enables to test information architecture from user's point of view. The conclusion provide results of the usability tests.
Application for Recognition of Hematoma on Skin
Mihalčin, Tomáš ; Košík, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains a theoretical basic that introduces problem of skin hematoma formation, image segmentation using the OpenCV library and platform operating system Android. This thesis describes the design and implementation of application for recognition of hematoma on the skin. The application is developed for tablets running operation system Android and it will be used for medical purposes and to facilitate the work of medical.
Mobile Application for DNS Vulnerabilities Testing
Béder, Michal ; Ovšonka, Daniel (referee) ; Kováčik, Michal (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to show the way how to implement an Android application, which allows full control over DNS packets creation. This was achieved by partial implementation of the application in C++ programming language. Furthermore, in this thesis are described topics as Android security model and possibilities of combining native and Java code. Resulting application allows to generate network attacks, which are exploiting some of the known DNS vulnerabilities.
Prototyping of Photographic Composition Using Augmented Reality
Salát, Marek ; Szentandrási, István (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The thesis deals with an image processing problem called image matting. The problem involves detection of a foreground and background in an image with minimal user interaction using trimaps. Foreground detection is used in image composition. The goal of the thesis is to apply already known algorithms, in this case A Global sampling matting, in an Android application. The most important result is an intuitive application that can be used for making creative viral photos. Agile methodology is applied throughout the whole application development cycle. From the very beginning, the application is publicly available as a minimum viable product on Google play. The work’s contribution is in optimization of the mentioned algorithm for use in mobile devices and parallelization on a GPU, together with a publicly available application.
Android vs Bada
Obořil, Radek ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Žák, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with comparison of two mobile device platforms Samsung bada and Google Android, primarily from a point of view of native application development. Native applications features, graphics and media support as well as developer tools are compared. As a part of this thesis, an application was created - a variety of a classic Snake game. This text describes design of this application, differences in the implementation, and discusses possibilities of application porting between the platforms.
Mobile Video Manual with Automatic Object Recognition
Nedbálek, Stanislav ; Maršík, Lukáš (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
This thesis deals with potential of us computer vision and augmented reality on mobile platform - OS Android. The goal of this thesis is to demonstrate practical potential of mentioned technologies on nowdays real situations. This thesis aims to design and implementation of mobile application, which is able to show video manual for automatic detected object. The created application has been tested on group of users, which approved useability and intuitivness of this application.
In-Car Control of Maintaining Safe Distance on the Android Platform
Pracuch, Michal ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis presents car detection on Android platform and describes few techniques of object detection. Application uses mobile phone camera and processes images by using OpenCV library. Detection is based on matching of two images with ORB detector and descriptor and is implemented in native code.
Face Detector For Android Platform
Slavík, Roman ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with face detection on mobile phones with Android OS. The introduction describes some algorithms used for pattern detection from image, as well as various techniques of features extracting. After that Android platform development specifics, including basic description of development tools, are described. Architecture of SIMD is introduced in next part of this work. After acquiring basic knowleage analysis and implementation of final app are descrited. Performance tests are conducted whose results are summarized in the conclusion.
Vefication of Metadata for Sound Recordings
Přerovský, Petr ; Bartoň, Radek (referee) ; Láník, Aleš (advisor)
The work deals with verification of the metadata of audio recordings in an environment of mobile phones running Android. The text work is divided into three main parts. The first part is focused more on theoretical basis, where the main emphasis on the description of Android, application structure, description of the audio MP3 file and theoretical basis of Fourier transform in signal processing. The second part is devoted to solution design, analysis and implementation. The third part deals with testing.
Graphical Interface for Board Games on Android Platform
Kasper, Valter ; Beran, Vítězslav (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This work presents a design and implementation of graphic user interfaces for board games. The objects of the investigation were various types of board games and graphic effects for virtual board game scene. We have developed a user interface design for different games. In the following sections the OpenGL ES library and its application to the Android platform are characterized. We explored the possibility of implementation in the native code. We have developed a system for plug-ins that allows implementing game logic in scripting language and defining the virtual scene for board game in XML language.
