Comparison of advanced analysis of fMRI data from oddball experiment
Fajkus, Jiří ; Jan, Jiří (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with processing and analysis of data, acquired from experimental examination performed with functional magnetic resonance imaging technique. It is an oddball type experimental task and its goal is an examination of cognitive functions of the subject. The principles of functional magnetic resonance imaging, possibilities of experimental design, processing of acquired data, modeling of a response of organism and statistical analysis are described in this work. Furthermore, particular parts of preprocessing and analysis are carried out using real data set from experiment. The main goal of this work is suggestion and realization of model, which enables advanced categorization of stimuli, considering the type of previous rare stimulus and the number of frequent stimuli within them. With its in-depth categorization, this model enables detail exploration of cerebral processes, associated mainly with attention, memory, expectancy or cognitive closure. The second point of that work is an evaluation of models of hemodynamic response, which are applied in statistical analysis of data from fMRI experiment. Comparison of basis functions, the models of hemodynamic response to experimental stimulation used for general linear model, is performed in this work. The result of this comparison is an evaluation of detection efficiency of activated voxels, false positivity rate and computational and user difficulty.
Network mobility in Mobile IP
Havelka, Michal ; Novotný, Vít (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
his semestral thesis is focused on issue network mobility (NEMO) beeing extension of protocols Mobile IPv4 and Mobile IPv6. It describes basic principle function of protocols Mobile IP, defines differences between mobility of nodes and mobility of network and suggest various situations, which may occur in combination these two protocols. Further, it describes differences between basic protocol network mobility (RFC 3936) for IPv6 and it’s extension (RFC 5177) for IPv4. Practical part of work consist in simulation network mobility in application OPNET Modeler and discussion of results, which has been discovered on the base of this simulation.
Study of Process Control in Selected Products
Růžička, Pavel ; Bednář, Josef (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the process of production of castings in the company ŽĎAS, a.s. and its methods for implementing customer's requirements. The goal was to create a Work Flow diagram of technical preparation of production based on the company's internal directives. The next step was to compare it with the actual situation represented by a case job and to make a conclusion. The customer's requirements for the case production order included increased level of control and purchasing weld-on parts. The incorporation process for these requirements was not described by the original Work Flow and was the subject of its new revision. For its better practical application the Study contains business and organizational structures of ŽĎAS, a.s.
The assesment of chloramphenicol residues in biological material, water and feed by GC/MS
Lukačková, Dagmar ; Šalplachta, Jan (referee) ; Rejtharová, Martina (advisor)
This diploma thesis addresses the presence and determination of chloramphenicol residues in biological materials. The theoretical part presents the literature retrieval containing information about veterinary medicaments with the banned use in food producing animals and also the sum of the legislative requirements concerning the presence of these substances in foodproducts and raw food materials of animal origin. The comparison was carried out between the existing analytical methods used for the determination of chloramphenicol residues in different biological materials, which are altogether based on the solid phase extraction for the extract cleaning and the new procedures for sample preparations using columns where the sorbent performs on the molecularly imprinted polymers principle.
Mycotoxins in fermented beverages
Martiník, Jan ; Svoboda, Zdeněk (referee) ; Běláková,, Sylvie (advisor)
Mycotoxins are toxic secondary metabolites of mold and fungi that attack cereals, wine grapes or apples, which are then used to produce fermented beverages. This thesis focuses on mycotoxin patulin which is primarily found in ciders. The theoretical part describes selected mycotoxins, legislation concerning these mycotoxins and their occurrence in fermented beverages. Section of the theoretical part is also dedicated to the description of fermented beverages and analytical methods used to determine mycotoxins in beverages. The experimental part deals with the validation parameters of the method for determination of patulin and 5-HMF. It also deals with the extraction and determination of these substances. Columns EASIMIPTM PATULIN were used in the extraction of patulin and 5-HMF and the concentration was measured by ultra high performance chromatography with photodiode array detection (UPLC/PDA). The determination of patulin and 5-HMF was performed in a total of 33 samples of cider, 9 samples of apple juice, 2 samples of wine and 2 samples of radler. Patulin was found in 6,1 % of cider samples and in 44,4 % of apple juice samples. 5-HMF was found in both wines and radlers, in 78,8 % of ciders and in 77,8 % of apple juices. All measurement data is processed in the results and discussion. The results were compared with foreign studies.

The impact of the financial and economic crisis on Germany
Kremerová, Kristýna ; Jiránková, Martina (advisor) ; Straková, Eliška (referee)
This thesis focuses on interpreting the impacts of the financial and economic crisis (2008/2009) on the Federal Republic of Germany. With the help of selected macroeconomic indicators, it compares the situation in the country before the crisis, its course and the state in which Germany emerged from the crisis. Additionally, this development is compared with the selected world economies. It also focuses on content analysis of anti-crisis measures of the state, especially the so-called "Konjunkturpakete", and necessary interventions in the banking sector. It then evaluates the amount and evolution of public gross debt. In conclusion, the thesis focuses on the analysis of the country according to the "Macroeconomic Imbalance Procedure" method. Conclusions in our work suggest that the Federal Republic of Germany managed to recover relatively quickly from the crisis, but still suffers from macroeconomic imbalances.

3D Volume Rendering Data Visualization
Němeček, Pavel ; Kubíček, Radek (referee) ; Kršek, Přemysl (advisor)
The first part of this project is focused on theoretical analysis of methods for rendering volume data. Both methods are analyzed showing the volume data using triangle mesh, and methods for direct volume rendering. Ray Casting is presented in detail. Possible way of its realization using graphics card is the subject of implementation part. The paper presents several methods that could be applied to ray casting and achieve different results of visualization of the same data. The work also aims to create a  graphical user interface that allows interactive visualizations.
