Electric drive of lift model with EC motor
Kutrucz, Tomáš ; Procházka, Petr (referee) ; Koláčný, Josef (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes a simulator of home elevator driven by an EC engine (external combustion engine). The introductory chapter of the thesis deals with the history of elevators. It also contains the description of EC engines, the description of the construction of the simulator and of the mechanical, electrical, and software adjustments carried out as based on the thesis. The main part of the work concentrates on the description of the changes of the drive algorithms, the production of the 3D simulator and the animation in the background of 3D Solid Works. Moreover, it also deals with the experimental performance measurement based on the loading of the stimulator drive.
Controlling ang checking system
Bláha, Jan ; Roubal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Szabó, Zoltán (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the design, fabrication and testing module 4 independent switching appliances. Switching can be controlled automatically according to the ambient temperature and time, or manually. The equipment includes the measurement of power. In the conclusion, the evaluation and lessons learned or problems in the implementation of module.
Intelligent Energy Measurement Device
Mrázek, Vojtěch ; Sekanina, Lukáš (referee) ; Vašíček, Zdeněk (advisor)
The goal of this project is to design an energy measurement device that supports logging of historic values and offers simple analysis of the values. The proposed device enables to display actual quantities such as active and reactive power, current or even power factor. In addition to that, it also stores the energy profile that can be subsequently analysed. The device communicates locally via USB or remotely via Ethernet.
SmartFlat peripherials
Chytil, Jiří ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the design of peripheral devices of a smart home SmartFlat and the design of communication interface for this system. Designed units are the humidity and temperature measuring unit, the unit of security and the smart socket unit for remote control, power measurement and power control. All units are designed for wired communicaton and also for wireless communication with control unit.
Demonstration and Benchmarking of Next-Gen Graphics APIs
Mainuš, Matěj ; Milet, Tomáš (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The goal of master’s thesis was to demonstrate and benchmark peformance of Mantle and Vulkan APIs with different optimization methods. This thesis proposes a rendering toolkit with optimization methods based on parallel command buffer generating, persistent staging buffers mapping, minimal pipeline configuration and descriptor sets changing, device memory pre-allocating with managing and sharing between multiple resources. The result is reference implementation that could render dynamic scene with thousands of objects in real time.
Test bench for heating power measurement of fuel filters
Jahoda, Patrik ; Svída, David (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This work is focused on the design and realization of a station for measuring the performance of modern fuel filter heaters. The openning part of the thesis is focused on the theoretical introduction to the issue of diesel purity and the function of fuel filters. The second part includes the process of measuring station creation, including the creation of a control application in LabView. The final part is devoted to measuring of several types of filters and method verification.
Influence of the exhaust pipe on the speed characteristic of the four-stroke motorcycle engine
Nádvorník, David ; Hejtmánek, Petr (referee) ; Smolka, Josef (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is a summary of the knowledge about the exhaust pipe of the motorcycle and its influence on the power and torque of the engine. Further, the bachelor thesis focuses on additional exhaust pipe systems which help to optimize the torque and engine performance. At the end of the thesis are included the results from the experimental measurement dealing with the influence of the exhaust silencer on the curves of the engine speed curve.
Application for Worktime Monitoring and Reporting
Šlapák, Jiří ; Škoda, Petr (referee) ; Malý, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis studies the management of software development, reporting and tracking work of developers. The basic ideologies for this thesis are agile methodologies Scrum and Kanban. The combination of the two is called Scrumban. The final result of this thesis is an intuitive web application called Scrumban Board, which offers a way for team management, planning tasks for teams and tracking efficiency of the development. The second part is a minimalistic application called Scrumban Client for the Windows operation system. This application offers an easy way of tracking work time.
Dynamometer for measuring power of IC-engines
Mikulášek, Tomáš ; Klimeš, Lubomír (referee) ; Štětina, Josef (advisor)
The aim of the work was to summarize the development of a system for measuring the power of internal combustion engines, from the initial simple dynamometers, to modern electronic devices with flange strain gauge for sensing torque compared their advantages and disadvantages, usability, efficiency, performance and manageability. Furthermore there was performed comparison with the standards dealing with this issue. Use of these devices is available, subject to atmospheric conditions specified in standard and manufacturer.
Experimental measuring of model house lift
Kalina, Martin ; Feiler, Zdeněk (referee) ; Koláčný, Josef (advisor)
This work describes a model of a house elevator with an EC motor ( Electronically Commutated Motor) and a programme essential for controlling of the model and adjusting of the protective features for a safe operation. The work deals with experimental measurement based on the model, firstly while being at idle run, and then while being loaded. It is focused on the identification of influencing the EC motor input by usage of the counterweight. The aim of the work is to process the measured data, which are then used for mechanical adaptation of the model and the consequent confrontation between the measured data gained before and after the adaptation. Also an important part of the work is the simulation of the elevator using the 3D SolidWorks Programme.
