The Integration of a Child with Disabilities into the Rover Group of Junak - Czech Scouting Organisation
HALÍKOVÁ, Kateřina
The bachelor thesis deals with the integration of a child with disabilities into the Rover group of the Junak - Czech Scout organisation. Based on a quantitative survey with the questionnaire technique, it finds and presents the views of rovers and rangers on the integration of a child with disabilities into the Rover group of the organisation Junak - Czech Scout, z.s.. It examines and records their views, as well as their awareness of how the organisation deals with this issue. Research has shown that most respondents do not have awareness of how the organisation Junak - Czech Scout, z.s. supports leaders, which Rover group is attended by a child with disabilities. Likewise, most of the rovers and rangers surveyed do not know what the department Skauting pro všechny (SpV) is doing. We know from the testing and verification of hypotheses that the awareness of the SpV department is dependent on passing the leadership Exam. These results show that at leadership courses, the topic of supporting Junák in integrating children with disabilities into the organisation is discussed. My recommendation is to include information on the activities of the SpV department and support from Junak in education already at previous courses. From the opinions of rovers and rangers, we can say that most rovers and rangers agree or rather agree with the inclusion of a child with a disability in the Junak - Czech Scout. Respondents' views on the inclusion of a child with disabilities directly into their Rover group vary according to the type of disability. For all of these types, except for intellectual disability, an absolute majority of respondents agreed to the possibility of inclusion.
