Furthermore, I have tried to characterize the basic features that played a role in the process of the formation of unitary agricultural cooperatives. In my thesis, I proceed chronologically from the publication of the Kosice Government Programme to the government's declaration of 15 September 1953. The first part of my work is devoted to the post-war period. In the introduction of the first part I try to outline the situation that prevailed in the then Czechoslovakia and I accentuate any mention of cooperatives. BOROWIECKA, Eliška
The topic of this diploma thesis is the foundation and development of JZD Lhotka and Hošťálkovice between the years 1945 and 1992. Both cooperatives were situated near the industrial city of Ostrava, which significantly influenced their existence. Within the opening chapter, the author describes the history of Lhotka and Hošťálkovice until 1945. Every chapter contains a theoretical part describing selected events which had an impact on the development of JZD. Unlike the other theses dealing with cooperatives of given era, this one is not devoted to the fight against kulaks. In this case, the research focuses mainly on the economic aspect of the issue. The author has managed to capture the development of both cooperatives while not only using the archival materials and literature but also testimonies of contemporary witnesses.
Time of the socialist collectivization village from the point of view of contemporary witnesses of the village of Velká Losenice
FIŠAROVÁ, Alena
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is to bring us closer to the origin and course of the communist regime in the village of Velká Losenice through the testimony of five witnesses. One of the main benefits of the work is the narrators statements that contain specific information about the situation at that time. Testimonies are provided not only by the descendants of peasant families, but also from earlier landless persons, small farmers and members of the Communist Party. Their testimony serves as valuable material for establishing the overall picture of the village. Another crucial point of the thesis are the criminal charges of the prosecuted "rural rich" and the impact of this imprisonment on other farmers. The result of this exploration follows the successes and failures of the establishment of the collective socialist enterprise, and creates a complex form of rural society and relations between citizens. This thesis follows the post-war period (1945/1948), the establishing of the Unified Agricultural Cooperative and the subsequent epoch of its development, which is generally monitored up to the year 1989.
