The influence of the material base on the investment costs of public services buildings
Raška, Pavel ; Čech, Josef (referee) ; Hrdlička, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis focuses on the investment costs and the influences that affect the investment costs of amenity buildings in the segment of facilities for the elderly. The aim of the thesis is to determine whether the different material base has an impact on the investment costs of these buildings. A database of 22 completed buildings of facilities for the elderly in three different material bases is subjected to statistical testing and data analysis in terms of investment costs. During the testing, attention is also paid to other selected factors that affect the investment cost of amenity buildings. Subsequently, a budget indicator is proposed based on the tested database and the result of data analysis. This budget indicator is assessed with the commonly available budget indicator and further verified with the implemented buildings in the segment.
Investment costs of school buildings
Staňková, Veronika ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (referee) ; Hrdlička, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis deals with the cost analysis of school building construction. The aim of the thesis is to propose new indicative budget indicators for estimating the acquisition costs in the pre-investment phase of the project. Their proposal is based on the results of a statistical analysis of a database containing samples of already implemented buildings. From the data analysis, the factors that most influence the investment costs are identified. Based on these factors, a total of 4 new budget indicators are proposed and subsequently verified. The thesis also verifies the accuracy of the determination of investment costs based on the currently used price indicators. It is shown that the estimation of investment costs using the newly proposed indicators is more accurate than using the existing price indicators. The thesis concludes with suggestions for updating the existing price indicators.
Study of the technological heat utilization system in the waste gas-to-energy process
Beneš, Daniel ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the conceptual design of systems for the technological use of heat in "waste gas-to-energy" (WGtE) industrial processes. In the beginning of the work, familiarization with the WGtE processes is carried out. Their general concept, equipment composition and possible design of exchangers within this system are presented. In the next part of the thesis, a specific industrial case of the WGtE process is presented, on which the analytical method for the design of new units is subsequently presented and assessed. The following is a part of the work that is devoted to the creation of a graphic-calculation tool for the conceptual design of the technological heat utilization system using the analytical method of calculation. At the end of the thesis, this tool is applied to the cases of two WGtE processes for the conceptual design of the optimal technical-economic solution of the technological heat utilization system of these processes, and the achieved optimization results are subsequently evaluated.
Container Construction - Identification Cost and Time Savings
Tejgi, Michal
Construction from containers can be more efficient than construction from conventional building materials in a number of suitable applications. From an investor’s point of view, the cost and speed of construction are important parameters, while from the societal point of view, it is environmentally friendly since it recycles original shipping containers. The core of this article is a case study of container construction of a primary school in Slovakia. The case study presents life cycle costs which are compared and contrasted with conventional construction. The aim is to compare investment construction costs. Finally, the results are compared with international studies on the topic of the life cycle of modular container buildings, project investment and renewability of this type of construction.
Drainage of sewage from expanding housing development
Studený, Martin ; Kejvalová, Eva (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the technical-economical study, which compares the investment, operating and total costs of the given variants of drainage in the expanding development with regard to the variable number of considered real estate in the development. The theoretical part deals with variants of the technical solution of the case study. In the practical part of the thesis a technical-economic study is conducted, where the individual variants are elaborated in terms of investment, operating and total costs of the variable number of considered real estates in the development and their mutual comparison with respect to property law relations.
The return on investment associated with construction of a residential building in cities of Luhačovice and Brno
Lisoňková, Lucie ; Komosná, Milada (referee) ; Cupal, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the investment of apartment house and decide whether to sell or rent its housing units. The investment will be assessed in two different locales, Luhačovice and Brno-Žabovřesky. The issue is solved by comparison of market value, determined by three basic approaches of market valuation, the market value based on income approach and investment costs. The market value of housing units is the result of a weighted avarage method cost, comparative and income approach. The market value based on income approach is determined from net operating income, capitalization rate and the trend growth / decrease. Investment costs are based on the detailed budget. The results are analyzed in selected methods of financial planning such as net present value, internal rate of return and payback period. Part of the calculation of the financial planning are cash flows that are adjusted by projected annual growth trend.
Alternative energy sources for family house
Stacha, Radek ; Fortelný, Zdeněk (referee) ; Škvařil, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on alternative sources of energy for the house and their evaluation. The first part focuses on the general view on alternative energy sources and making explicit the house of each resource of which the assessment is undertaken. The next chapters are focused on each types of renewables for which will be the conclusion in the end of each section for the assessment of a given house. The conclusion is evaulated for the selected type of alternative energy resources towards normally used ones.
Cost analysis of heating sources in passive houses
Vítek, Marek ; Biolek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Tuscher, Martin (advisor)
The topic of this diploma thesis is cost analysis of heating sources in passive houses. The first part of the thesis is theoretical and focuses on basic concepts of passive house, renewable energy sources, heating sources, economical indicators. In the practical part there is cost analysis of chosen heatig sources of model house. Result of this thesis is evaluation of design options and optimal solution.
Economics operation of Wind Power Plant
Osička, Aleš ; Macháček, Jan (referee) ; Radil, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to acquaint the readers with the types of wind turbines, with principle of their operation, construction design and conditions which have to be implement by the planned project of wind turbine construction before the construction is begun. There are described selected types of power plants from different manufacturers. Theoretical assessment of the adequacy of the power construction on exact place and implementing the selection of a suitable power plant according to economic evaluation method of net present value, internal rate of return and the payback period is also included. In the last part of the thesis, there is made the proposal of connection of the power into distribution system.
Design of a weekend house heating
Rajdlík, Lukáš ; Pech, Ondřej (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
This master’s thesis deals with design of different variants of heating and warming of hot service water for holiday building (year-round weekend house, made of bricks). After calculations of the design heat load and heat requirement for heating and warming of hot service water for different types of operations the suitable heat sources are chosen. For heat sources the general design of heating is made. In the end the thesis includes economical analysis for each variant in view of investment and operating costs. The most suitable heat source is chosen from the results of analysis.
