Cloud Framework on Infrastructure as a Service
Pech, David ; Zelený, Jan (referee) ; Burget, Radek (advisor)
Securing Shared Data Storage
Škoda, Martin ; Hajný, Jan (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
This work presents the cloud computing model. It describes deployment models and distribution models of the cloud computing. The distribution models like software as a service and infrastructure as a service are described. Then the current solutions from companies Amazon.com, Microsoft and VMware and the description of security of the particular solutions are presented. The next section deals with data security in the cloud computing. In this section, the fundamental methods of data security (confidentiality, integrity and availability) and the examples of cryptographic methods used in the cloud computing are described. Further, the methods used for secure infrastructure and network (defense in depth), the protection of privacy and the security of data storage are described. Nowadays, the open problems are ensuring the protection of privacy of user data and data storage security auditing, which prevent users to gain trust in cloud computing. To solve these problems, Privacy as a Service (PasS), homomorphic encryption, privacy preserving data storage public auditing and Trusted Computing are described. In the final part of this work, the threads in the cloud computing environment and theirs countermeasures are analyzed. Finally, the design of model for securing shared data storage is proposed. Model is based on the previous findings. Model uses a tamper-proof hardware with cryptographic protections to ensure the privacy of computed data and the integrity of data stored on storage in the cloud computing.

Analysis of IaaS market
Dušek, Michal ; Matuštík, Ondřej (advisor) ; Böhmová, Lucie (referee)
The thesis focuses on cloud computing which has become technological trend in the last years and possibilities how to use IT services. Still more expanding offer of cloud services brings new ways for organizations how to efficiently utilize capabilities. The main objective of thesis is the Infrastructure as a service market's analysis carried out in the form of comparison between chosen IaaS public cloud providers, based on multicriterial decision making. For purposes of the analysis are set appropriately categorized criteria on which basis is provider's comparison performed. Partial objectives of theoretical part is the definition of cloud computing and its division, description of strengths and weaknesses, characteristics of IaaS market situation. The contribution is an actual comparison of IaaS providers respected to specified criteria.
Categorization of Cloud Computing Services
Morávek, Jan ; Karkošková, Soňa (advisor) ; Feuerlicht, Jiří (referee)
The thesis is focused on the introduction to issue of cloud computing and cloud computing services. The main objective is to categorization of services in accordance to several parameters, which tends as crucial factors of choosing cloud computing services. The conclusion is achieved by analyzing various cloud computing services and subsequent synthesis of the most important parameters. The results of this thesis are the definitions of relevant categories common for the distributed models of service. According to these a potential consumer may choose from provided cloud computing services. Individual categories are divided by their technological or organizational characteristics. The categories are further defined from the infrastructure-as-a-service model view. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and a practical part. While the theoretical part describes basic terminology, characteristics and division of models, the practical part is defined by three sections. The first section contains the definitions of the most important categories with given parameters of distribution models. In the second section, categories from the infrastructure-as-a-service view are defined. In the last section, an analysis of globally accessible services focused on the infrastructure-as-a-service is provided.
Cloud Computing and its Applications
Němec, Petr ; Voráček, Jan (advisor) ; Přibil, Jiří (referee)
This diploma work is focused on the Cloud Computing and its possible applications in the Czech Republic. The first part of the work is theoretical and describes accessible sources analysis related to its topic. Historical circumstances are given in the relation to the evolution of this technology. Also few definitions are quoted, followed by the Cloud Computing basic taxonomy and common models of use. The chapter named Cloud Computing Architecture covers the generally accepted model of this technology in details. In the part focused on theory are mentioned some of the services opearating on this technology. At the end the theoretical part brings possibility of the Cloud Computing usage from the customer's and supplier's perspective. The practical part of the diploma work is divided into sections. The first one brings results of the questionnare research, performed by the author in the Czech Republic, focused on the usage of the Cloud Computing and virtualization services. In the sekond section is pre-feasibility study. The study is focused on the providing SaaS Services in the area of long-term and safe digital data store. Lastly there is an author's view on the Cloud Computing technology future and possible evolution.
