Zachar, Martin ; Černý,, Pavel (referee) ; Černý, Pavel (referee) ; Raudenský, Miroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with automotive headlamps, focusing on layout of temparature field and its influence on thermal stress of used materials, describes their history, kinds and ongoing research. Thesis shortly describes light and its characteristics, heat and heat transfer and means of temperature measurement. Main part of the tesis is dedicated to measuring front headlamp serving as a fog light, concretely measuring temperature field and illuminance depending of ambient temperature. Thesis contains everything from the first preparations, creation of measuring circuit, programming of measuring to processing acquired data. Thesis also compares cooler used for cooling luxmeter sensor, the comparision is between measured values and created simulation.
Design of public lighting for the improvement of road safety
Krejčí, Miroslav ; Fojtášek, Jan (referee) ; Zháňal, Lubor (advisor)
This paper is focused on quality assessment of public lighting systems. These systems are compared to the standard requirements of road lighting rules. Inconvenient systems are redesign with help of lighting design software DIALux in order to fulfill these rules. Part of this paper is dedicated to other issues like pedestrian crossings, color effect and economy.
The lighting map in GIS
Nejedlý, Lukáš ; Potočňák, Tomáš (referee) ; Rozman, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelor thesis deals with the lighting of roads and public areas. The work is divided into two parts. First part is focused on the basic terms of lighting technology, measurement methodology and appropriate hygiene standards. The paper also discussed electric light sources used in public lighting and basic information on the geographic information system ArcGIS, which was used during the processing of the measured values. The second part is focused on the measurement of illuminance in Žďár nad Sázavou and graphical analysis of the measured values in ArcView GIS. The measured values of the illumination were compared with hygenic limits standard ČSN 13 201.
Daylighting of spaces with light guides
Machová, Petra ; Gábrová, Lenka (referee) ; Vajkay, František (advisor)
This thesis deals with the illuminance space through light guide. It describes it's basic principles, technical features and ways of differentiation between the technologies. The thesis also includes latest methods for evaluation of illumination of space supported by various computer simulations.
Inovace autonomního systém pro měření osvětlenosti v interiéru
Drábek, Tomáš ; Holub, Jan
The goal of this report is to show the results we achieved in the field of autonomous indoor illuminance measurement. At the beginning of the paper the state of the art measurement methodology is shown. It is followed by the description of the robotic unit we designed for the purpose of automation of the measurement process. Moreover, the algorithm for measurement process is described in detail. The rest of the paper deals with possible improvements of the robotic platform mainly by adding new sensors and by adding the illuminance vector measurement unit.
Jasové poměry v místech zrakových úkolů v učebnách
Helštýnová, Barbara ; Novák, Tomáš ; Sokanský, Karel ; Bos, Petr
Possibilities of action learning methods such as interactive whiteboards, blackboards and whiteboards along with copying to a workbook depends not only on visual comfort, but also on the subjective feeling of the observer. This measurement could be performed objective was chosen as the place of visual task workbook, as the surrounding visual task desk (table) and a background visual task was elected boards according to the type of measurement rooms. Measurements was done by luxmeter and luminance analyzer. Because the evaluating the overall illuminance of the room, so the task area. Further analysis was performed luminance from which it was calculated contrast to which the eye responds and transmits the visual perception.
Near-field photometry
Kutý, Tomáš ; Baxant, Petr (referee) ; Škoda, Jan (advisor)
This thesis is focused on the theoretical and practical introduction to the verification procedures used today for obtaining luminosity curves of lamps. The introduction acquaints readers with the photometric variables. Consequently, it is theoretically described procedure for constructing luminance curves by zonal flow and further familiarization with the near-field photometry. For the practical part was chosen several lights. These lamps were measured by luxmeter first from a very close photometric distance from lights, and then from large distance. The next step was to obtain pictures of luminaries in planes C 0 to 345 ° (with a step of 15 °) of the angle gamma from 0 to 180 ° (in steps of 5 °). The measured data were processed by zonal flow and through programs LumiDISP and Matlab. The partial result of this thesis is to verify whether it is possible to use the luminance analyzer for obtaining luminosity curves, it means, if the luminosity curve obtained through luminance analyzer will comply with the curves obtained through a luxmeter. Further work should ascertain the feasibility of acquired photographs lamps from a very close photometric distance could create luminosity curve for any location and distance from the observer to measured lamps.
Visibility measurements using lmk systém
Ciępka, Piotr ; Reza, Adam ; Unarski, Jan ; Wach, Wojciech
Based on the night measurements of unlit obstacles and background using the new LMK system, the authors calculated visibility parameters, i.e. luminance threshold difference necessary for recognise object during driving. The results of measurements were compared with other empirical investigations. A visibility studies procedure has been proposed, using the LMK system and a computer program, developed by the authors, for multi-parameter calculation of expected obstacle discernment distance. The procedure has been found particularly useful in complex road situations and atmospheric conditions.
Map of lighting in GIS
Suchý, Petr ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Čech, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with legislation and public lighting. Furthermore, this topic is closely related to describing the characteristics of lighting and hygiene levels in comparison with the IEC standards. The work focuses on theoretical training, follow-field measurement and analysis of data obtained. The paper discussed aspects related to the light, physiology of vision and optical comfort. Outdoor lighting and its technical characteristics. Brief description of standards and their use in planning practical measurement of public lighting. A substantial part of the work is focused on graphical analysis of values and their comparison with the standard.
Numerical Modelling of the Light Source
Pavelka, Adam ; Koňas,, Petr (referee) ; Kadlec, Radim (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with photometry units used in light engineering. There are defined the methods of modelling the illumination systems, their advantages, disadvantages and possibilities of using. Furthermore, the thesis deals with modelling of two illumination systems by ray-tracing in programming environment of MATLAB. The master’s thesis describes the analysis of the problem and the program designing process. Acquired model results are then compared with the real measurements of both illumination systems which allow the discussion of the results and the deviations of the models.
