Airconditioning in a sport center
Šafář, Robert ; Tesař, Zdeněk (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor work is focused on designing an air conditioning system for the gym so as to meet functional, hygienic and operational requirements for the microclimate of sports building. The main tasks of the device are covering heat losses of area of the gym in the winter and transportation of fresh air into the room. The system is also designed to cover the summer heat gains. The first theoretical part deals methods of heat recovery for air conditioning needs, and the second part contains two designs of ventilation of changing rooms and air conditioning system for gyms. The result of this work is detailed design work for two air conditioning equipments for specified object.
Acoustic emissions of buildings
Smažinka, Josef ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with acoustics with the main focus on acoustic emissions of buildings. The first part of the thesis aims to familiarize the reader with the field of acoustics as a whole. They will learn the basic concepts, quantities and relations that exist in acoustics. In the second part I focus specifically on the sources of noise in buildings and their surroundings, how can excessive noise affect health, what standards must be met and how to prevent excessive noise. The last part is devoted to practical measurements in the field, which is focused on real sources of noise in the city of Brno. The aim of this measurement is to compare the noise generated by buildings with other noises in the urban environment.
Noise in the interior of vehicles and methods of reducing it
Patočka, Pavel ; Zajac, Roman (referee) ; Otipka, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis focuses on the issues of noise in the interior of vehicles and the methods of subsequent decrease of such noise. Moreover, the thesis shortly describes the most notable sources of noise involved in the overall acoustic within the automobile. The undertaken analysis illustrates that the main source of noise in older vehicles is the combustion engine, an exhaust and intake system, and a gearbox tool. Conversely in modern vehicles, as a result of the unceasing progress of alternative drives, the most notable noise in modern vehicles is the aerodynamic noise and the noise forming out of the contact between tires and roadway. The research showcases that the elimination of these sources is aimed at the use of isolation and absorption structures, as well as the technologically advanced methods such as the ANC method. In relation to the increasing pressure on emission-free traffic, often resulting in insufficient vehicle soundproofing, the thesis summarises the findings concerning the issues of additional vehicle soundproofing.
RLXY
Sedláček, Tomáš ; Suchánek, Jiří (referee) ; Krekovič, Slavomír (advisor)
The project is conceived as audiovisual performance using own author´s software. The project is focused on experiments with transfer of three-dimensional data, two-dimensional image into the sound and on the contrary. The goal of the project is to explore medium itself and to find new solutions.
Noise Generator Diagnostics
Plucková, Iveta ; Nahodil, Petr (referee) ; Hammer, Miloš (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with noise diagnostics of the generator. The practical part of the thesis is realized in the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant. The first part of the thesis, noise is generally discussed. The quantities and their measurements are described, quite generally, also for the given company. According to specific conditions in the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant, there is a distribution of noise measurements, which is carried out by an external company. The work gives a concrete example of this measurement. At the end of the work, the practical measurements of noise were done for selected generators, which were realized by an author for the purposes of this bachelor thesis. The experiment is evaluated.
Low - noise pavements
Mojžíš, Martin ; Zdřálek, Petr (referee) ; Hýzl, Petr (advisor)
Master´s thesis is interested in the problems of low-noise road surfaces. The theoretical part describes noise, sources of noise, the low-noise road surfaces and the practical part describes two proposals of low-noise stone mastic asphalt SMA 8 LA.
Range Extender Engines for Electric Cars
Kroupa, Jiří ; Janoušek, Michal (referee) ; Drápal, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about range extender engines for electric cars with focusing primarily on piston combustion engines. In the first part, reasons for using range extender are indicated and the principle of use in powertrain of electric vehicle is explained. Requirements for a combustion engine working as range extender are stated with their impact on development parameters of this engine. The second part describes manufacturers with their range extenders. Three engines are described in detail with emphasis on development, technical parameters and operating strategy. Another range extenders with their basic parameters are mentioned too. Conclusion refers about benefits of using range extenders and their future development is estimated.
Computational Modelling of Geartrain Vibration
Král, Jiří ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Novotný, Pavel (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the model design for gearbox. The work is focused to its basic creation and optimization in programs of MBS ADAMS and ANSYS. It includes also short summary of contemporary solutions, which are used, and basic characterization of acoustic quantities.
Noise and vibrations of roots blowers
Smrček, Martin ; Hájek, Petr (referee) ; Švancara, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with the spread of noise in the housing sets blowers, blower vibration, due to the shape of the geometry of the individual parts of the blower and the design of a suitable discharge muffler in order to achieve the highest possible attenuation. Analysis blower and silencer discharge was conducted using the finite element simulation ANSYS 15.0
Exhaust Manifold for Formula Student Engine
Bartoš, Tomáš ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design and tuning of the exhaust manifold and muffler for the Formula Student car. The single cylinder atmospheric spark ignition engine Husaberg FE 570 is used as a powertrain unit. The exhaust system is designed according to the Formula Student rules. To design the exhaust system has been used as theoretical knowledge as well as software Lotus Engine Simulation.
