Synergetics and Self-organization in the Economy

The master thesis focuses at analysis and research of synergy and self-organization in economics. The motivation for the thesis was joining Czech Republic and other nine countries to the European Union on May 1st, 2004. The primary aim was to analyse the problem and on a model example,assuming "ceteris paribus", confirm or refute the thought, that joining the European Union has positive synergic effect for newcomers. The second meaning of synergy is solved as a sub-problem in the master thesis, where the use of synergy in logistics was analysed and opportunities improving the current situation were suggested.
Evaluation of GDP depending on the operating performance of air transport

The diploma thesis describes performance in the area of air transport, based on performance of national economies of two selected neighbouring countries, Czech Republic and Germany, through comparison of their gross domestic product in the selected time period. The operating performance is focused mainly on transportation performance of air transport. First part of the thesis is dealing with interconnection of economy with air transportation. Crucial part of the work contains analysis of development of GDP and analysis of development of transportation performance of both countries. Part of the thesis is also acquisition of passenger-kilometre data derived from fuel consumption and produced emissions of CO2.
Comparision of Czech Macroeconomic Performance with Selected Countries

The bachelor‘s thesis is focused on the analysis of the Czech Republic economic efficiency in comparison with selected countries. The goal of the thesis is the economic efficiency evaluation of the CR with help of its confrontation with Slovakia, Poland and Hungary. In order to make it, there are described basic macroeconomic indicators at first and then there is also made an analysis of the economic efficiency of all countries of the Visegrad Four since 1989. Then a general evaluation is made with formulation of recommendations for improvement.

This Bachelor Thesis concentrates on evaluation and comparison of the situation on individual labour markets in European union using mathematical and statistical models. The thesis primarily focuses on the analysis and development of significant economical indexes, such as unemployment rate, GDP and average income. The thesis also targets on providing the relationship between the selected indexes with correlation analysis and finally sorts the mentioned EU countries into similarity ground using the cluster analysis.
Evaluation and remuneration methodology of top managers

The dissertation focuses on the creation of a new methodology of evaluation and remuneration for top managers in the environment of the Czech manufacturing industry. Based on a literature search, individual methods of evaluation and remuneration of this selected group of employees were defined. Due to the complexity of the issues addressed, it is also necessary to focus on the company's performance, which is monitored through the EBITDA indicator. This indicator is then the main pillar for the remuneration of managers. The methodology consists of two more pillars. The first is the macroeconomic indicator of gross domestic product, the second is the qualitative factor of the ethical aspect of the manager's work. The work aims to create a remuneration methodology that will be usable for the Czech environment, will combine the manager's remuneration with his performance and the performance of the company and could lead to a reduction in the cost of representation. The key to its creation was the acquisition of primary data through questionnaire surveys and pilot studies, which were evaluated by mathematical and statistical methods. The resulting methodology is applied to a specific company within the verification of the proposed methodology.

Time-frequency analysis of Czech republic gross domestic product

The aim of this master's thesis is to get familier with problematic and concepts of econometrics (GDP, investment, usage and others). We see into used data mainly their characters and expectations and we discuss possibilities of frequention and time-frequention analysis of these data by Fourier and Wavelet transform. Data of quarter development of gross domestic product in Czech Republic, EU and USA will be analysed by the help of programm MATLAB. Data will be filtered by three ekonomic filters: Hodrick-Prescott, Baxter-King and Christiano-Fitzgerald filters. The aim is to find cyclic elements in developments of GDPs and to suggest an optimal type of analysis.

The practical part is focused on the impact of GDP on various countries and the main goal of this work is to evaluate the effects of the COVID19 pandemic on the economic performance of countries and to propose certain recommendations that will help streamline the world economy. The partial goals of the work are: summary of circumstances that led to the declaration of a state of emergency and describe crisis management in the world during the COVID-19 pandemic, creation of data base, creation of econometric model and its testing, evaluation of results, In order to develop my work were found relevant study materials . The methods used in the bachelor thesis are descriptive-analytical in nature.

Impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic on Contruction Companies in the Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis describes and evaluates the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on construction companies in the Czech Republic using controlled interviews with representatives of companies and a questionnaire solution. The theoretical part generally describes problems caused by the coronavirus pandemic, which affect Czech construction industry. It is a description of the process of the pandemic in the Czech Republic, a description of selected anti-epidemic measures and government compensation bonuses. Part of the work is a description of the effects of the pandemic at the selected construction company and also prepared part of the documentation to management construction contract.
