Dugovič, Jakub ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
Cieľom tejto práci je implementovať modulárne užívateľské rozhranie na prepis zvukových nahrávok a ich anotáciu. Rozširuje dotrajšiu prácu s cieľom umožniť a zjednodušiť prácu s hodiny dlhými nahrávkami rozhovorov. Riešenie je implementované v TypeScripte pomocou Reactu a ďalších knižníc z reactového ekosystému. Aplikujúc princípy naštudované z literatúry, vyhýbajúc sa chybám identifikovaným počas prieskumu obdobnej platformy a overujúc užívateľské rozhranie počas vývoja pomocou kvalitatívneho testovania, vyvýjané rozhranie sa usiluje dosiahnuť vysokú mieru dobrej užívateľskej skúsenosti.
Uživatelské rozhraní nástroje Combine
Nenutil, Patrik ; Rozsíval, Michal (referee) ; Smrčka, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis aims to create a new user interface for the Combine tool, since the current one was merely a prototype to showcase the tool's operations. The newly developed user interface allows use of datasets and simplified criteria inserting. Furthermore, shortcomings were fixed based on the studied principles. Automated GUI tests were implemented to validate the implementation's accuracy. As a result of this project, the user interface of tool Combine was improved.
Application for managing FPGA cards
Ostrý, Pavel ; Ilgner, Petr (referee) ; Dobiáš, Patrik (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis focuses on the management of FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) cards within the context of the VUT FEKT school system. FPGA cards are devices that enable hardware programming using programmable logic circuits, which significantly enhances the efficiency of specific tasks that requires low latency and high data throughput. Despite the growing popularity of FPGA cards, there is no graphical applications, that would enable their management in school system enviroment. The aim of this thesis is to develop an application that enables configuration, monitoring, and control of FPGA cards through a graphical user interface. The thesis is divided into ten chapters, with the first five covering the theoretical part and the remaining five focusing on practical implementation. The theoretical part includes an introduction to FPGA cards, their comparison with other similar devices, a description of their programming, and an analysis of the requirements for the final application, followed by the selection of suitable tools. The practical part concentrates on the implementation of the user interface, code structure, and the description of individual program classes and functions. The result of the work is a graphical application that meets all specified requirements and enables configuration, monitoring, and control of FPGA cards within the VUT FEKT environment. The application was developed in the Java programming language, with the graphical interface implemented using JavaFX. Communication with the FPGA card is handled using the libnfb library, which is written in C, with its functions mapped through JNA. This bachelor's thesis delivers an FPGA card management application developed based on the needs of VUT FEKT.
Automatization of polymer hollow fibre heat exchanger production
Šindelka, Denis ; Hvožďa, Jiří (referee) ; Bartuli, Erik (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on automatization of manufacturing of a shell and tube heat exchangers from polymer hollow fiber. The reaserch part of the thesis describes different types of heat exchangers. After that the thesis focuses on polymer hollow fiber heat exchangers and their properties, uses and means of manufacturing. The following chapter focuses on a creation of grafical user interface (GUI) in Python programing language. The GUI aims to make the manufacturing proces of a polymer hollow fiber heat exchanger on a X-Winder machine easier and more straight forward.
Integration of tools working with fingerprints
Dobeš, Kristián ; Sakin, Martin (referee) ; Kanich, Ondřej (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of the integration of tools working with fingerprints into current application SyFDaS. The main goal was to extend existing features of the application and develop new ones, such as visualization of simulated damage, damage annotation and generation of random input parameters for simulation. In the work, a methodology for integrating the new tools into the application was presented and successfully demonstrated. During the course of the work, the current user interface was greatly enhanced to better support different types of damage. The integration and extensions of tools were implemented in the C# programming language, including a reworking of the tools from Python using the EmguCV library for image processing. In the final part, quality analysis of the integrated tools with new extensions and testing of user interface friendliness were performed to confirm the functionality and usability of the application.
Demonstration of Cryptographic Problems through an Interactive Educational Game
Fišarová, Anežka ; Mezina, Anzhelika (referee) ; Mikulec, Marek (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a cryptographic interactive educational game. It focuses on various cryptographic ciphers specifically selected so that people outside the field can be introduced to the subject in a demonstrative and entertaining way. Java and JavaFX were used as the programming language. The thesis consists of four parts, the first two are oriented towards the theoretical part of cryptography and the second two are more focused on the practical application and code development. As motivation for the players, a score for correctly cracked ciphers was used. Furthermore, the work includes a choice of difficulty, which influences which ciphers will be presented to the players. At the end of the thesis, the author reflects on the results and explores ways to further improve the methods presented.
Warehouse Modeling Using Graphical User Interface
Rajnoha, Martin
This paper describes a new algorithm which enable efficient conversion of graphical representation of warehouse into graph theory representation and consequently accelerates estimation for route costs. The proposed algorithm computes route distances between any place in warehouses and does so significantly faster than traditional approaches. For this purpose an algorithm based on Breadth first search, image processing “skeletonization” and Dijkstra algorithm was proposed. Using the proposed algorithm it is possible to search routes in a warehouse effectively and fast using precomputed routing table. Searching time is approximately hundreds of microseconds using routing table and even it is independent on size of warehouse instead of using Dijkstra algorithm.
IoT Application Deployment Platform
Hrvol, Marek ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this work is simplifying deployment of Internet of Things in households or smaller companies and also reducing the need of maintenance of created network.  Main goal of this web application is creating platform capable of deploying applications across ARM single-board computers. Moreover, application provides intuitive preview of all registered devices including its state, shows all the necessary data and informs user about failures on devices.
WordNet Database User Interface Innovation
Kopřiva, Adam ; Jaša, Petr (referee) ; Chmelař, Petr (advisor)
This thesis considers innovations of graphical user interface for JWord 3.0. It's a program, which works with electronic lexical database of English - WordNet. The words in this database aren't sorted in the alphabetical order like in usual dictionaries, but they are grouped to synonymic groups. These groups are then connected with different semantic relations. During the implementation design I have focused mainly on the speed of searching for informations about the entered word. This lead to the change of searching engine from searching in files to querying database. The resulting program is composed of two parts - program and graphical user interface. Program interface works with MySQL WordNet 3.0 database. User interface then shows meanings of the entered word and relations to other words (synonyms, antonyms, hyponyms, hypernyms).
Generation of OFDM signals using arbitrary waveform generator LW410
Jagoš, Ľubomír ; Vařacha, František (referee) ; Prokeš, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis describing basic concepts and parts of OFDM modulator, showing their implementation in Matlaba. It's also focusing on how to use USRP with Matlab and creating functional OFDM modulator. Main efford is forwarded to practical impelementation of OFDM using available hardware.
