Energy efficient detached house with fitness centre

Documentation of project in degree for realization of two floor detached house with fitness centre situated in locality Račice-Pístovice near Vyškov. Building is designed with regular elongated rectangular ground plan of the second floor, in the first floor is larger by fitness centre with the ground floor in the L-shape. Building envelope will be made of exact blocks Ytong with external insulation certified system and with wooden frames of windows with insulating glazing. House is gabled. The idea was to design building envelope energetically efficient with classification class of penetration of heat as B - efficient.

Sport Centre Královo Pole

The Sport Centre is situated in Brno Královo Pole, it connects to a playing area, which is open all year round. The entrance is on the Vodova Street. Nearby, there is a football stadium, dormitories and the Červinkova tram stop. The building has two floors, a flat roof and its shape is connected to the surrounding buildings. It has not any basement. Compositionally, it is 3 cubic masses with attached terraces and grandstands which descend to the playground. The glass middle entry part connects to the other sections, the surrounding two masses are highly glassed towards the playing area. There are several functions – entry, changing rooms for summer and winter use, buffet, cafe and fitness center – it combines sport function with recreational and cultural functions. The surrounding terrain is grassy, the walking areas are paved. The terrace and the grandstands directly linked to first floor are made of stamped concrete, the seat grandstand is wood-panelled.

Sports and Leisure Centre Brno

The theme of the dissertation titled the Centre of Sport and Leisure Time in Brno is a design of a relaxing and sport site „Centrum Lužánky“. The subject of this project is architectonic-city-planning study, which deals with elaborating a concept of a sport centre behind Lužánky in Brno-Ponava. This dissertation contains details of the facility and the area of the current swimming pool Lužánky. The current state of the facility built in 1979 doesn’t meet requirements of visitors and sportsmen anymore. The main aim of this project is the reconstruction of the current fifty-meter swimming pool, a design of a new swimming pool placed under the ground floor of the current building, which will provide space for organizing international competitions, trainings of professional sportsmen, etc. At the same time the busyness of the current swimming pools would be lowered by building a new indoor and outdoor waterpark, especially for the group of recreational visitors. The attractiveness of the facility will be increased by the newly designed park relaxing area and proposed multipurpose area, used as a sports field in the summer and as an ice ring in the winter. Additional value of the facility is comprised by an indoor and outdoor café and large relaxing area on the roof of the waterpark. The whole area increases the community facility availability by a proposed wide range of services for health, relax and sport. The advantage of the whole concept is the mutual connection of all facilities. The entrance to the area is shortened by a designed pedestrian bridge, accessible from the south and north busy areas. The whole project is enhanced by increased number of new parking places, located particularly along the access road, the street Sportovní, going through a green zone. The goal of this master thesis is to create a business plan for an establishment of a fitness centre located in Brno-Černovice. The business plan includes analysis of feasibility of establishing the fitness centre as well as a calculation of a break-even point, result of which is the finding of the payback period, considering probable sales and costs. The theoretical part describes the theoretical bases related to the idea of business and market, business plan and its structure, including a description of used analytical research methods and tools. The analytical part of the thesis contains outputs from the analyzes and research carried out, on the basis of which a suitable strategy for the start-up company is subsquently selected. The design part of the thesis elaborates a specific part of the business plan in connection with the chosen strategy so that the plan is feasible and viable.

First, the methodologies and the theoretical approach to the solved problem are described. Subsequently, analyses of the company's environment are performed and the information obtained is used in the SWOT analysis. The final part contains the business plan, including its feasibility of success in the current market.

The topic of this thesis is the processing documentation of a fitness center with another establishment of wellness and coffehouse. Building is situated on a sloping terrain in Odry. It's a public services. The building has two above-ground floors and one basement. The loadbearing structure is of cast-in-place concrete frame. The building is insulated by contact insulating system ETICS. Roofing is of flat roof. On the land is designed park with 15 spaces directly accessible from the driveway.

The analytical part includes analysis of the business environment for the validation of the idea and mapping of the market and general environment. Subsequently, a suitable strategy is chosen for the start-up in this area, which is elaborated into individual parts of the business plan so that it is feasible and viable.

Multifunctional Building Brno

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is design of mixed-use building in Brno. It is terraced house in the district of Brno-Líšeň on the parcel between Novolíšeňská street and Josefy Fiamonové street. Building has mostly housing function and there is also cafe and fitness centre. Desing of the building is based on the sloping terrain and construction system. Overground part of the building consists of containers from firm Intecon, underground part is designed from reinforced concrete. Object has three main mass and they copy the terrain in floor plan (object is open to south around contour line) and also in section, only lowest part protrude from the slope like console. In the north part of building is placed cafe, fitness centre and entrance into the stacket parking and it schields housing part from the busy road (Novolíšeňská street) and it is open to quiet south, where are flat‘s and cafe‘s terraces and they have a great view of Brno. Space between three main parts is filled with a stacket parking in the north and in the lowest floor there are places for all residents. Facade combines white, grey and black color. White render signs housing part, grey render signs part of services and because of using diverse windows in the north part, there is a black facade, perforated continuously according to interior lithing needs and it unite the north facade. On the side facades there are square windows in diferent sizes and there are also container constructions shown ahead of the surface and it gives some system to the facade. Southern facade is mostly glazed and in the lowest floor there are vertical windows.
