New laboratory exercises in OMNeT++ simulation enviroment
Petrůj, Jakub ; Sládok, Ondřej (referee) ; Langhammer, Lukáš (advisor)
This Bachelor thesis illustrates a draft and creation of two lab exercises in a network simulation environment of OMNeT++ with INET Framework extension on behalf of Communication Technologie course. Initialy, simulated environment itself is defined and, including NED language and its modules, then the process of simulation and analysis of its results are presented and discused. Further more this work describes theoretical network knowledge required to create the simulation and treat its results. The first methodical part of this work compares HTTP, FTP, Telnet and VOIP protocols in simultaneous and non simultaneous running, with increased occurance of errors on line or its complete outage. The second methodical part of this work observes dynamic network configuration using DHCP protocol more in detail. Futhermore, this part studies the question of both non-efective and efective subnetting and handles issues concerning static adressing of network.
Website Design
Segeťa, Luboš ; Zbruš, František (referee) ; Koch, Miloš (advisor)
The main objective of my bachelor’s thesis is to design web pages that match the current trends in the areas of web sites for MK Servis, which sells slings and handling equipment, saw blades and abrasives.
Realization and optimalization of data storage server
Holík, Martin ; Urban, František (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with realization and optimization of datacentres, specializing on the servers’ design area. The assessment comprises of theoretical problem analysis, such as virtualization, virtualization platform, data sharing, as well as cloud storage production design. Final conception is implemented on the physical serveresign.
Routing protocols for MANET network with focus on QoS
Potfay, Attila ; Molnár, Karol (referee) ; Vajsar, Pavel (advisor)
The main task of this master’s thesis is to simulate the routing protocol AODV (Adhoc On-Demand Distance Vector Routing) to the Network Simulator ns-3 environment, and to realize a model of MANET (Mobile Ad-hoc Network) network with the support of Quality Of Service (QoS). Further implement the protocol AODV in real devices and the involvement of such nodes in the simulation process using the simulator ns-3. This work provides the theoretical basics: it deals with the primary characteristics of MANET, describes in detail the routing protocols MANET with support of QoS, provides information about the Network Simulator ns-3 simulation environment, describes in detail the existing implementation solutions of the protocol AODV in to real devices and provides information about the methods of involvement real devices to the simulation.
Data centre project - structured cabling
Hejtmánek, Ondřej ; Dostál, Otto (referee) ; Filka, Miloslav (advisor)
This master’s thesis is concerned with analysis of cabling and cabling systems in data center and with their projection as follows. The part of the work is aimed at the measurement parameters of metal cables which are used in data center with noise. The first part is focused on analyzing the structure of the data center and cabling used in it. The structure of the data center is based on the TIA-942 and consists of an entrance room, main distribution area MDA, horizontal distribution area HDA , zone distribution area ZDA and the equipment distribution area EDA. Divided into backbone cabling and horizontal cabling and use standard and pre-terminated cabling. The measurement results of structured metal cabling with noise are discussed in the next part. There were used these types of cables UTP, FTP and S/FTP. The measurement was performed in the electricity substation and in the laboratory of electromagnetic compatibility. The third part of this work deals with the actual design of structured cabling for the data center. In the first design we use the standard installation, the second preterminated cabling. For both types of installation cost statement is processed (CAPEX). Thesis is also completed with DC design drawings and rack drawings.
Extension of FTP Implementation within libcurl
Raiskup, Pavel ; Peringer, Petr (referee) ; Dudka, Kamil (advisor)
This work elaborates on the design and implementation of an extension to the multiprotocol network library known as libcurl. The extension focuses on using the FTP protocol as found in libcurl, making it possible to download bundles of files that are specified by a matching pattern extracted directly from a URL. In addition to being readily available to and easily understood by libcurl users, the extension aims to allow efficient communication with FTP servers. Taking into account that libcurl is widely used by applications and other libraries, the main design criterion of this project was to maintain backward compatibility with libcurl. Like libcurl, this extension is also written in the C programming language.
Implementation of multi-purpose system based on LINUX
Fůsek, Lukáš ; Polívka, Michal (referee) ; Pfeifer, Václav (advisor)
The thesis Realization of Multipurpose System on the base of Linux is focused on the selection of suitable distribution of GNU/Linux system for all commonly accessible network services provided by servers and for implementation of suitable authorization process for one server. The first part of the Bachelor thesis acquaints the reader with different operating systems, and their mutual comparison. There are also in detail examined open-source technologies used for HTTP, FTP or mail server services. Further the first part describes the way of sharing data and printers in the network and a possibility of log in the Network by means of Novell client. Second part is focused on practical realization of this server by selected system and by needed applications. There is also in detail described the process of instalation and launching all needed applications.
Network Tasks Optimalization
Dražil, Jan ; Korček, Pavol (referee) ; Viktorin, Jan (advisor)
Nowdays, when we are running out of public IPv4 addresses, we rely on techniques that at least postpone their complete exhaustion. One of these techniques is a network address translation (NAT). Internet providers require the highest possible bandwidth from devices that perform this task. This thesis compares NAT DPDK, built on top of DPDK framework, with freely available alternatives. This work also extends NAT DPDK with Application-Level Gateway support.
Evaluation of service quality parameters in data networks
Gregor, Lukáš ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Novotný, Vít (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals about the issues of IP networks. About technologies for ensuring the quality of services, that is necessary to implement in today’s IP networks, due to the large increase of data flows. The bachelor thesis is oriented especially on technologies IntServ, DiffServ, MPLS and requirements of different types of services to the qualitative parameters of data networks. The aim of practical part is to devise a laboratory exercise for measuring qualitative parameters of different services under various condition in the intermediate network. Emulation of network parameters is carried out using emulation tool WANem with GNU Linux core.
Software for Hill Climb Racing
Lichosyt, Tomáš ; Holek, Radovan (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
Thesis analyses the problem about motorsport discipline hill climb races. Using the findings is designed database structure and created user application together with websites for current result publishing. The work also describes the hardware that is compatible with this application.
