WWW application for e-learning

This master's thesis is focused on description of possible types of e-learning systems as the modern way of education and its support using computer technology, its components and methods assessment used for educational systems creation and the most accessible and most convenient method for creating elearning selection. On the basis of obtained knowledge was created an educational system using PHP and AJAX technology. The main objective of this thesis is the development of e-learning system with accurate requirements for its functionality and description of the method of achieving the desired properties of individual parts of the system.

This bachelor thesis is dedicated on education of Lewis formula by e learning. Study material is created by application Macromedia Flash and is dedicated mainly for students in the first year of Faculty of Chemistry of Brno University of Technology. This material is separated into two parts. In first part are briefly explained problems of Lewis formula at several chapters. Second part is focused on testing of knowledge acquired in first part. As part of a submission, was also to create database of Lewis formula which help students to practice this important chemical problems. The theoretical part of the bachelor thesis is focused on e-learning as a modern education method. Also, there is briefly mentioned a program Macromedia Flash. And finally, the bachelor thesis serves as a manual for work with a study material.

Hints for Inorganic Chemistry Tests E-learning Study Materials Processing

E-learning is an educational way which uses multimedia and communication technologies for making, transferring and offering materials for studying. The aim of this bachelor thesis is making educational materials using the form of hints for inorganic chemistry tests. The first year students come into the contact with these tests compulsorily in the Inorganic chemistry laboratories II on Faculty of chemistry of Brno University of technology. The thesis contains six parts. First five parts are set to general view of e-learning and last sixth part obtains chosen hints for inorganic chemistry tests. Next hints are appended on CD for its considerable size (cca 600 hints).

Inorganic Nomenclature E-learning Study Materials Processing

The subject of this bachelor's thesis is e-learning and the creation of teaching material Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry. The theoretical part is dealing with the definitions of e-learning, its development and modern trends in this dynamic sector of education. The theoretical part contains the current state of Web search in the area of teaching Czech inorganic nomenclature. Is also briefly presented Adobe Flash, which was created educational applications Nomenclature of Inorganic Chemistry. The practical part presents the results of a questionnaire with a sample of 451 students Faculty of Chemistry at Brno University of Technology. The thesis also includes analysis of students mistakes. End of the practical part is dedicated to the description of learning material, which is primarily designed as a supplement for teaching the nomenclature of inorganic chemistry at the chemical faculty in Brno.

Cílem této práce je prozkoumat, shrnout a uspořádat nejvýznamnějším vzdělávací technologie. Porovnat a rozdělit tyto technologie do konkrétních skupin, jako například výukový software, internetové stránky s výukovými nástroji, elektronické encyklopedie, mobilní zařízení a zařízení, jež mají pomáhat s výukou a také ji ulehčovat. Pokusit se tyto technologie uspořádat a vytvořit tak systém, který by pomohl ostatním studentům rozhodnout co je pro ně nejlepší a co by naopak byla ztráta času. Dále je také cílem vyzvednout nejužitečnější technologie a pomoci pochopit jejich účel a význam, a hlavně poukázat na jejich největší přednosti a slabosti.

Another objective of this particular bachelor’s thesis is to focus on the possibilities of multimedia instruction for subjects dealing with previously mentioned topics.

The work deals with the forms of computer-assisted teaching methods, summarizes the applicable software tools, web portals and educational applications, focusing on the creation and dissemination of study materials, and complete learning management systems.
