Title: Discussion about the organization of the Olympics in the Czech Republic: opinions of selected groups Objectives: The main objective of the thesis is to determine the current attitude of selected groups of the Czech public towards a possible future candidacy for hosting the Olympic Games in the Czech Republic by means of a questionnaire survey. Methods: This survey describes the current attitude of selected groups in Czech society. 478 participants took part in the survey and subscribed via direct links to the questionnaires. All questions were answered by 298 respondents who were divided into predefined groups. The selection of the groups was based on consultation with experts across the sports sector. The survey was conducted in the form of an electronic questionnaire that used a variety of question types, including Likert scale and semantic differential methods. The questionnaire was created through the Survio platform and subsequently disseminated on social media and sent via email to selected groups. Brand value perception of the Czech Olympic Team

Title: Brand value perception of the Czech Olympic Team. Objectives: The aim of the thesis is to find out the position of the Czech Olympic Team brand, including the perception of sponsors, and based on this finding to design a Customer Journey Map project for a selected partner, which would help improve the functioning, perception and attractiveness of this partnership with COT. Methods: The theoretical part was developed through the study of professional literature. The key for data collection was a quantitative method of electronic surveying on a representative sample of the Czech population and visitors to Olympic festivals. The comparison of data from individual waves of surveys provided the greatest benefit. Based on these results, the respondents' experiences were visually processed using a special Customer Journey Map method and specific recommendations were proposed. Research by the International Olympic Committee complemented our own information about the Olympic brand. Results: The brand of the Czech Olympic team is no stranger to the Czechs, they associate it with the Czech representation and have a positive attitude towards it. Methods: The work used electronic questioning in the form of an Internet questionnaire in which various types of questions were used, including methods of the Likert scale and semantic differential. Results: The thesis summarizes the current attitude of selected groups of the Czech public to the potential future candidacy of the Czech Republic for the organizer of the Olympic Games. The results also include recommendations for other author of the topic. The results of the work could help potential future organizers and applicants for candidacy for better orient themselves in the current opinion of selected groups of the Czech public and improve their chances of success. Title: The Children and Youth Olympics in the Czech Republic in the sports, economy and marketing sphere Objectives: The main aim of this work is to analyse all the available documents of all the individual Children and Youth Olympics in the Czech Republic from 2003 to 2013 in the sports, economy and marketing sphere. Methods: Dissertation is divided into three parts based on data from relevant Czech Olympic Comittee documents. The first part is primarily about sport and analyses success of the Children and Youth Olympics athletes at International Games. The second part focuses on budget of particulars Games. And the third part contains analysis of marketing support - partnership, media support, merchandising and information leaflets. Results: We can observe positive results at all three areas - sports, economy and marketing. The Children and Youth Olympics s based on strong platform that helps to spread olympic idea among young people in the Czech Republic. Proposals and recommendations for future Games are based on detailed analysis and evaluation of all three parts. Marketing development and analysis of the ČOV focused on sponsorship

Title: Marketing development and analysis of the ČOV focused on sponsorship Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to evaluate the marketing development since the marketing agency Česká olympijská a.s. was established, partners satisfaction with the counter-offer and the formulation of recommendations for its improvement. Methods: In this work we used a mixed research that we have done through the analysis of texts and documents, questionnaire and a SWOT analysis. Documents provide us an overview of the Czech Olympic Committee and its marketing activities. The questionnaire was used to express partners satisfaction with cooperation with the ČOV. SWOT analysis provided us with evaluation of internal and external factors affecting ČOV. Results: We found out that every Olympic cycle marketing proceeded, it was trying to bring new sources of financing and create various campaigns to raise awareness about the partners. Title: Corporate Identity of the Czech Olympic Committee Objectives: The thesis contains an analysis of recent image of corporate identity (CI) of the Czech Olympic Committee. The main objective of the thesis is an evaluation of the CI of the organization and a comparison with the arranged theoretical knowledge of contemporary literature. The outcome of the analysis is the suggestions and references to improve the area of CI. All of these suggestions will help to create new projects and more effective CI of the following organization. Methods: The thesis could be divided into two parts. The first part - theoretical - is dealing with the problems of theoretical knowledge which is available in the contemporary literature. The second part of the thesis contains the analysis, the comparison, the critical evaluation and suitable (realistic) recommendations for the creation of the optimal CI. The relevant data were obtained from the available documents and from the interviews with the members of the organisation. The rest of the data was obtained from author's personal expierence from the organisation where participated in an internship. Protection of Olympic symbols in relation to the media

This diploma thesis Protection of Olympic Symbols in Relation to the Media shows how the Czech Olympic Committee monitors the use of Olympic Symbols and how the law that protects Olympic symbols is approached by the Czech media. The main goal of this diploma thesis is to bring a professional insight into this issue, to summarize the legal norms and other accompanying rules of the International Olympic Committee and Czech Olympic Committee and to show specific examples of violations by the Czech media in informing about the Olympic Games. The diploma thesis also uncovers why specific errors in the media occur, how media deal with the protection of the Olympic symbols in the media, and how media ensure the abidance of the law within the internal structures. An integral part of this thesis is a general summary of all the rules, examples of the errors and a summary of both the media and the Czech Olympic Committee perspectives on the issue.

Following thesis is focused on analysing digital communications of Czech Olympic Committee - a national committee aiming to develop and disseminate the Olympic ideals and to represent and ensure the participation of the Czech Republic at the Olympics. It is also one of the most important subject in the Czech sport. The main task of the thesis is to analyse all digital communications of Czech Olympic committee during the Olympic Games in Rio 2016 through social networks, break down all the available data to create a comprehensive summary and based on it create more effective recommendations for digital communication during the Olympic Games in PyeongChang 201. The theoretical part introduces the reader with general information about marketing and Public Relations. Section further maps the development of communication, its forms and familiarizes readers with the most used social networks of today. Title: Possibilities and limits of events promoting children sport participation - case study of Sazka Olympic multiple event Objectives: The aim of the study work is to evaluate the organization and success rate of the project "Sazka Olympic multiple event". The study analyses the possibilities and limits of the project, and provides recommendations how to improve the project in the following years. Methods: The study is a case study and uses mostly qualitative methods of research. Data collected from interviews and document analyses are then evaluated by the SWOT analysis. Results: The results of the study are proposals and recommendations for organization of "Sazka Olympic multiple event" which promotes children sport participation. The case study revealed both strengths and weaknesses of the project and defined its opportunities and threats. The recommendations may be used for the future realization of the project.
