Determination of Motion Parameters in Machine Vision
Dušek, Stanislav ; Horák, Karel (referee) ; Janáková, Ilona (advisor)
This thesis describe about determination of camera motion parameters in plane. At first there are introduce the basics of motion tracking, is focused to find out displacement between two input images. Below is describe the algorithm GoodFeatruresToTrack, which find out the most significant point in a first image. The point is search out the good point, which will be easy to track in next image, reduce the data volume and prepare the input information (array of significant point) for the algorithm Lucas-Kanade optical flow. In second part is deal with processing and utilization estimations optical flow. There is median filtration, below is describe computation of homogenous transformation, which describe all affine transformation in affine space. As the result are coordinates, which describe the shift between the two input images as X-axis and Y-axis value. The project used the library Open Computer Vision.
Traffic Signs Detection and Recognition
Číp, Pavel ; Honec, Peter (referee) ; Horák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with traffic sign detection and recongnition in the urban environment and outside the town. A precondition for implementation of the system is built-in camera, usually in a car rear-view mirror. The camera scans the scene before the vehicle. The image data are transfered to the connected PC, where the data are transformation to information and evalutations. If the sign was detected the system is visually warned the driver. For a successful goal is divided into four separate blocks. The first part is the preparing of the image data. There are color segmentation with knowledge of color combination traffic signs in Czech Republic. Second part is deals with shape detection in segmentation image. Part number three is deals with recognition of inner pictogram and its finding in the image database. The final part is the visual output of displaying founded traffic signs. The thesis has been prepader so as to ensure detection of all relevant traffic signs in three basic color combinations according to existing by Decree of Ministry of Transport of Czech Republic. The result is the source code for the program MATLAB. .
Real time face recognizer
Juráček, Aleš ; Přinosil, Jiří (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
My diploma thesis deals about face detection in picture. I try to outline problems of computer vision, artificial intelligence and machine learning. I described in details the proposed detection by Viola and Jones, which uses AdaBoost learning algorithm. This method was deliberately chosen for speed and detection accuracy. This detector was made in programming language C / C + + using the OpenCV library. To a final learning was used database of faces images „MIT CVCL Face Database“. The main goal was to propose the face detector utilizable also in video-sequences.
Image object detection
Pluskal, Richard ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis deals with design of a program for entering various types of geometric objects in an image for the purpose of their further processing. The program should also contain algorithms to ease object entering (e.g. refining manually entered object position). In the first part there is a brief description of the computer vision and its basic methods used in the work as well as introduction of the OpenCV image processing library. The following part describes three types of geometric primitives that are implemented for now. Because the output of the program is in universal XML format, there is short chapter about the XML. After that, there are summarized some methods for searching of parametric description of geometric primitives in an image. The final chapter describes the proposed system and evaluates possibility and suitability of its usage for various types of images.
Moving object detection
Škuta, Pavel ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
The aim of this these was devise a automatic system applications, monitoring entering of motors vechitles with in automaric collection of trafic data. Automatic system allows identify of mooving vechitlses in slow speed and searching of the area registration number. Theoretical analysis of possible kind solving problems detection moving vechitles and their localization. From possible solutions was selected solution by camera systems. Was take a pictures of vechitles, whitch is as true of the real scene. On the pictures was testing of algorithm for detecting of area registraction number of vechitles. Designed system is possible to use for automatic monitoring mooving entering vechitles.
Evaluation of stereovision algorithms in Computer Vision System for MATLAB
Lauko, Matúš ; Růžička, Michal (referee) ; Grepl, Robert (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is describing limits and features of stereovision application for space orientation using MATLAB tools. The intended use is for a robot. In practical part there is used Simulink 3D Animation Toolbox for scene creation. Frist part is a background research of computer vision, stereovision and MATLAB toolboxes Computer Vision System Toolbox and Simulink 3D Animation Toolbox. In the next part there is a description of model which is used for testing computational algorithm. Subjects to test are speed and accuracy taking into account other factors.
Analysis of computer vision and its aplication in systems of quality management
Nguyen, Cuong Manh ; Plášková, Alena (advisor) ; Urban, Jan (referee)
The main goals of my thesis is to provide closer look into issue of computer vision and its potential in quality management. The main reason for writing this thesis is to prove that there are simple methods of controling by computer vision, that even start-ups in production sector can afford. Hereafter I am compering two methods of controling. Firsty method of controling by computer vision and secondly method of controling by human eye. I am primarily focused on its cost of implementation and operation, its speed of controling units and measurement accuracy of each methods. For this purpose I use a practical simulation of control station in fictional production line to get real comparable resuts of both methods. To costruct successful simulation with relevant results it is essential to understad principles of the issue.
Network flows and their software support
Zdražil, Jan ; Sekničková, Jana (advisor) ; Chlapek, Dušan (referee)
This thesis deals with the maximum flow problem in network. First part describes and explains basic terms of graph theory, which gives theoretical base for following text. Next part is dedicated to algorithms that may be used to solve a maximum flow problem. Each described algorithm contains a brief history, general notation and a practical example. The next very important part of the thesis is in specific computer science applications such as computer vision and web mining. As an essential part of the thesis is developed software in programming language Java, which allows user to compare the implemented algorithms and to solve large network flows problems.
