Pupils' perception of regularities in arithmetic in the 2nd and 3rd grade of primary school
Kohutová, Lucie ; Slezáková, Jana (advisor) ; Jirotková, Darina (referee)
This thesis investigates the perception of regularity in arithmetic of pupils in 2nd and 3rd grade of primary school. The theoretical part focuses mainly on pupils' preconceptions (previously acquired experience with the chosen topic). It presents examples of problems from various series of mathematics textbooks for primary school, which allow pupils to encounter the topic of regularities and rhythm in the course of their studies. This section also explains the concepts related to the topic - dealing with error, error strategies and, following the preconcepts, with possible ways of re-teaching. The research part aims to analyse the pupils' solutions obtained within the faculty project Teachers' understanding of the causes of school failure and the effectiveness of pedagogical interventions, implemented by the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University with financial support from the OPVV programme of the Ministry of Education. The target group of the testing are pupils of the 2nd and 3rd year of primary school. This part of the work includes the preparation and implementation of the actual experiment with the task, analysis and comparison of the results from the experiment with the data obtained in the project. These are supplemented by written records of interviews with pupils and teachers....
Dependability Assessment of Fault Tolerant Systems
Suchánek, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Strnadel, Josef (advisor)
Reliability is an important part of various systems. The aim of the work is to create reliability models of some reconfigurable and nonreconfigurable fault tolerant systems and subsequent evaluation of their reliability indicators. The Uppaal tool is used to create models, along with the SMC extension, which is used for verification. The result of the work is the verification of models and evaluation of reliability indicators using the tool Uppaal SMC.
House water meters
Zvejška, Tomáš ; Tureček, Jan (referee) ; Ručka, Jan (advisor)
Bachelor´s thesis is focused to measurement accuracy of House water meters at very low flows. There are some errors during these flows. It´s not known what the values of these errors become, yet. The goal of my thesis is assessment of these errors. Results have been achieved through laboratory measurements.
Freezing
Ševčík, Andrej ; Chrobák, Ondřej (referee) ; Kvíčala, Petr (advisor)
The subject of diploma thesis is cycle of paintings, animation and video. This work is based on the operation system error. I focusing on well know phenomen of freezing computer and follow layering of system windows over themselves. Due to an error may arise aesthetic shape, which may refer to geometric abstraction. On this phenomenon interested me especially the elementary aspects of painting, building space on surface, geometry, movement and shape.
ALU Built-In Self Test
Bednář, Jaroslav ; Růžička, Richard (referee) ; Drábek, Vladimír (advisor)
This work deals with faults, errors and failures, which can occur during manufacturing and long term operation. Work describes the various failures and fault models. There are some approaches to get fault tolerant systems, mainly in hardware. The thesis continues with a summary of methods for ALU software testing. The last chapter is about tests generation for microcontroller MSP430.
Research into influence of input error format on localization process WSN
Pečenka, Ondřej ; Stančík, Peter (referee) ; Holešinský, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis is focused on two localization algorithms, iterative algorithm, and a linked algorithm simulated in MATLAB. Further, the investigation of the influence of input errors on the errors in localization of sensor nodes examined algorithms and explore possible relationships between the input errors and localization errors. Subsequently are submitted possible ways to optimize and their results.
Low power current transformers
Zolich, Ladislav ; Hrabčík,, Miroslav (referee) ; Dostál, Lukáš (advisor)
Master‘s thesis is focused on current instrument transformers, current sensors and low power current transformers. Discussion is made on advantages and disadvantages of each measuring principle. Low power current transformers is then designed and manufactured. Manufactured LPCT is then measured for accuracy class. Results are then compared.
Game Development Process
Froehling, Kryštof ; Sedláček, Pavel (referee) ; Šedrlová, Magdalena (advisor)
Bakalářská práce se zabývá vývojem videoher a vším potřebným k vytvoření úspěšné videohry. První část práce rozlišuje všechny různé role vývojářského týmu a jejich souvislosti. Druhá část analyzuje časovou osu a cíle různých fází vývoje videohry a zároveň hodnotí pozitiva a negativa práce s vydavatelem. Brány v úvahu jsou také certifikační a hodnotící procesy. Třetí a poslední část nabízí pohled do zákulisí vývoje videoher prostřednictvím rozhovoru s herním vývojářem.
Diagnostic tools for OS Linux file system
Vladyka, Vojtěch ; Tišnovský,, Pavel (referee) ; Petyovský, Petr (advisor)
Aim of this work is design and implementation of error detection and correction tool for UDF filesystem for GNU/Linux.
Code comprehension in 2nd grade pupils at primary school
Hošková, Lucie ; Slezáková, Jana (advisor) ; Kvaszová, Milena (referee)
The theoretical part of this thesis deals with one mathematical problem from a didactic test given within the project Teacher's understanding of the causes of school failure and the effectiveness of pedagogical interventions. It includes an analysis of the task and an estimation of expected solving mistakes. It takes a closer look at code and coding, the curriculum of which is newly embedded in the Framework Educational Programme for Primary Education, therefore examples of tasks that can be used in teaching at primary school are given in this paper. It also looks at the coded path, which is the basis for the test task, as well as the movement around the plan. Movement along the plan occurs in the context of propedeutic excercises and found exercises from textbooks. Six hundred and five student solutions are evaluated in the practical part. They are grouped together with described solving strategies that distinguish different types of path records in the plan. Furthermore, this section contains an evaluation of the data from an experiment conducted with fifteen 2nd grade of primary school pupils. In both cases, the focus is on the solving strategies, the detection of mistakes and the design of their re-education. Finally, the data of the pupils' solutions are evaluated. Firstly, they focus on the...
