Personal Calendar PHP
Sadloň, Matej ; Kapinus, Michal (referee) ; Kolář, Martin (advisor)
This thesis aims to time management. The goal is to design and implement web application for simpler and easy-to-use managing of personal time. For this, the application uses calendars, To-Do lists, dividing of bigger task into subtasks or analyzing of spent time. The PHP framework named Symfony was used for implementation of the application with use of object-relation mapping, that is provided by the PHP library Doctrine and uses MySQL database. The CSS and JavaScript technologies were used for better graphical design and dynamism of work with application.
Calendar and Switch-Board Interconnection
Kaláb, Jan ; Ščuglík, František (referee) ; Kolář, Dušan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discuss interconnection between Asterisk private branch exchange and Microsoft Exchange 2010 calendars. It describes CalDAV, WebDAV, iCalendar and SOAP protocols.
Smart Task Planner
Educational Activities for Lower and Upper Grammar School Focused on the Grey Partridge
Klapalová, Nora ; Andreska, Jan (advisor) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
This diploma thesis deals with the creation of a clearly arranged calendar which summarizes basic information about the occurrence, breeding and hunting of partridges (Perdix perdix) in the years 1927 to 1960. This calendar was created on the basis of the research of archive years of the magazine Stráž myslivosti which changed its name to Myslivost in 1953. The research period starts with the year 1927 when the partridge population was abundant in the Czechoslovak Republic, and continues until 1960. By this time, the partridge population had undergone a number of changes. The most significant one was the considerable decrease in the number of individuals. The first reason of the large decline in partridges were the severe frosts in 1929 and then also in 1940 and 1941. Since that year, hunters have been trying to increase the number of partridges artificially. On the one hand by catching and releasing them, or by artificial breeding of partridge chickens. At the end of the 1940s, the population increased to half the number of pre-war occurrences. In the 1950s, however, the partridge population declined again. This decline is mainly due to the transformation of the natural agricultural landscape into a cultural landscape and the infrastructure development. Based on the calendar a total of ten...
Personal Timetabling
Doležal, Lukáš ; Barták, Roman (advisor) ; Duša, Vladimír (referee)
Despite all the advancements in Artificial Intelligence, we still do not have a broadly available application for automated scheduling of personal activities. The main difficulty in creating such an application is satisfying user's diverse expectations about time organization. In this study we focused on creating a tool that can help users with organizing their time. We designed a model for describing personal activities with user preferences. We formulated scheduling of personal activities as an optimization problem for which we designed and implemented a solving algorithm, aiming to schedule activities with precision of seconds. We created a prototype of web-calendar application powered by this model and an algorithm which we designed with the focus on ability to clearly display user's time and easily insert activities for automated scheduling. The web application is backed by RESTful API which enables implementing application on various platforms. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Web Conference Calendar
Pokorný, Petr ; Vyskočil, Tomáš (advisor) ; Zavoral, Filip (referee)
A scientific article can only be submitted to one conference. The purpose of this work is to create a web application which will aid in determining where a given article can still be submitted, using mainly a graphical diagram. The text itself first provides a detailed specification of the problem, then it discusses the choice of individual technologies and the general implementation approach. The following section then briefly describes some implementation details and suggests areas for expansion of the project. The last chapter is dedicated to technical and licensing considerations. The result of the work is a working web application designed for use in academic circles and for further refinement.
Workgroup Planning Application
Nguyen Cong, Thang ; Kopecký, Michal (advisor) ; Žemlička, Michal (referee)
This thesis describes design and implementation of a tool that supports workgroup planning. The system allows its users to manipulate their tasks, as well as supports collaboration of more users. The user interface of the application is based on lightweight web client. The application is modular, so that the enhancing of the application in the future will be as simple as possible.
Astronomical grounds of calendars in different historical periods and cultures
Hrůšová, Lucie ; Šolc, Martin (advisor) ; Wolf, Marek (referee)
The main goal of this work is to describe calendars of various countries, and that both calendars, which are used until these days, and calendars of perished civilizations or calendars, which were abandoned by their users because during ages they had preferred another calendar. This work is for everyone, who would like to be informed, how our calendar was originated, why he contains some things which are illogical from our point of view such as the irregularity of the length of months. It also tries to show the way how the calendars were created, how they were refinement, but also that the calendar we use most, the Gregorian calendar, is not still perfect. First chapter wants to explain to reader, what is the lunar, solar and lunisolar calendar. In second chapter are described calendars of the eldest known Mediterranean civilizations in the context of antique literary creation. Third chapter is dedicated to the world's most widespread Gregorian calendar, the circumstances of his rise by correcting the Julian calendar, about his acceptance in world and about the lunar point in this otherwise solar calendar, namely the calculation of Easter. The fourth chapter is dealing with the newer calendars, which was tried to enter into force by revolutionary minded persons. And the last, the fifth, chapter is...
Calendar across history; author's calendar
HAVLOVÁ, Michaela
Theoretical-practical thesis which focuses on the historical development of a calendar and on its own realization. Theoretical part starts with a definition of a term calendar, characterizes basic units used for compiling calendars and also describes divisions of calendar systems. Subsequently the thesis pays attention to the oldest calendars, from all sorts of prehistoric time recording devices, to the highly developed Mayan systems. There is also an outline of the development of calendars, which are used in the modern era. In the practical part the author deals with the design and the realization of her own calendar. Thesis is accompanied by picture attachments and photo documentation.
Mathematical principles of calendars and their visualization
SLÁDEK, Pavel
This bachelor thesis covers mathematical principles of selected types of calendars Julian and Gregorian These were selected because of long-term history of usage in our country and its predecessors. Comparison of calendar types is covered. There is described how to create the table of Gregorian and Julian calendar and derivations of Easters. There is also computer application for calculating these aspects and demonstration of these principles. This application algorithm is designed with the aim of uncovering parts of calculations and therefore it can be used for studying these principles. The thesis also includes described parts of source code.
