Minimizing errors in the alignment of the CAD model to the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM)
Miko, Jan ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of alignment of measured data to nominal data in the field of metrology - measurement and evaluation of longitudinal dimensions, angles and tolerances of position and shape. The beginning of the work deals with the division of individual types of coordinate measuring machines and various data scanning technologies. The next section describes the measurement process, and especially in what ways the mea-surement can be performed. In the analysis of the use of methods for the alignment of nomi-nal data on a CAD model when measuring on a CMM, the individual methods of alignment are classified and described. The most common defects caused by alignment to a CAD mo-del are covered in the entire chapter, which describes what causes individual defects in most cases. The main part of the bachelor thesis is the study of measurements. In this study, the evaluation of outputs that were obtained after measuring and balancing the measured data on the CAD model of the reference part is processed. The alignment is performed by four diffe-rent methods. Subsequently, the individual methods were compared and the errors that occurred during the alignment were analyzed. In the last part of the work, a statistical evalu-ation of the measurement and determination of the measurement uncertainty is performed on the basis of the measured deviations of the positions of the assessed geometric elements, which occurred on the reference part. At the end of the thesis, the individual outputs that were obtained during the elaboration of the individual goals of the bachelor's thesis and the recommended methods of alignment for a specific application are evaluated.
Design of measurement robotized workcell
Tvardek, Michal ; Sláma, Josef (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
This master's thesis focuses on the use of the Renishaw's Equator gauging system in cooperation with the industrial robot. The target is to design the robotized workcell which contains these two products. Robot acts as a manipulator for inserting and sorting out the workpieces into the "good" and "bad" pallets according to measured results from the Equator. Equator uses a parallel kinematics and probing system which is normally used on coordinate measuring machines. Therefore there is the introduction to the parallel and serial kinematic structures, to the problems of the coordinate measuring machines in the first part of this thesis. It was made a separation of the probing systems into a few basic categories, description of the typical representatives of these categories and of the other important accessories of the coordinate measuring machines, too. The second part of the thesis contains a description of the Equator gauging system, the industrial robot which I used and their accessories. In this part is mentioned a few examples of measurement automation in industry practice, too. The third part devotes to the design of the robotized workcell and contains all the important requirements for the realization.
Design of a suitable length standard for nanp-CT measuring device
Kožiol, Martin ; Jankových, Róbert (referee) ; Šrámek, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of three length standards, which will serve to ensure metrological traceability between Rigaku nano3DX, SIOS NMM-1, Zeiss UPMC Carat 850 and other devices located at ÚVSSR BUT and CEITEC Brno. The first part of the thesis focuses on the theoretical acquaintance with concepts closely related to the issue of ensuring metrological traceability. In addition, this section deals with computed tomography and the description of individual devices. The second part of the thesis is devoted to design, production process and testing of individual standards. The last part describes the ensuring the calibration of the smallest standard, the so-called Nano standard and the calculation of the uncertainty of measuring its calibrated length. At the end of the thesis, the outputs of these activities are evaluated.
Analysis and Design of Information Systems for Small Business
Pekárek, Jan ; Štěpnička, František (referee) ; Klusák, Aleš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis „Analysis and design of information system for small business“ deals with analyzing the current situation in Ocean’s Joy s.r.o. company in gastronomic sector. The work points to the internal problems and proposes solutions through the implementation of information system. Then there are areas of IS/ICT application identified and methods for selecting a suitable solutions suggested. At the end the author recommends one of the available solutions.
Software Development Processes Improvement
Řezáč, Jakub ; Bartík, Vladimír (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This master's thesis is oriented on software development processes improvement techniques. It presents modern approaches of process development and analyses problems of their management and usage in various life cycle phases. In connection with these techniques it brings draft of support tool, which increases automatization of processes development with pertinent cooperation with other tools, as one of presumptions of improvement of their quality.
Heavy workpiece measurement with mobile measurement machines
Plachý, Štěpán ; Marek, Tomáš (referee) ; Holub, Michal (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on heavy workpiece measurement. The first part deals with coordinate measuring machines and inprocess measurement with workpiece probes. The next section concerns mobile measurement machines, specifically measuring arms and especially laser trackers. For all methods there are a description of principle and their types, eventually comparison of manufacturers and concrete representatives of device. All measuring methods particularly relate to heavy workpiece measurement. The last part of the thesis describes factors affecting measurement uncertainty of mentioned methods.
