In modern times, people try everything to relieve. This may fulfill speechrecognition. Local speech recognition is computationally demanding, because of that many companies are trying to create a remote network speech recognition. In this thesis, we are focusing on creating a server for speech recognition, Android application and selecting appropriate protocol for communication between client and server. HTTP and Websocket protocol are analyzed her and differences and advantages between them.

Simulation of Heat Pump Performance

This work is aimed to design and implement software for simulating operational properties of heat pumps and process data from measurements. Work contains the issue of heat pumps, their principle of functionality, different types of systems and coefficients used for rating of efficiency of heat pumps. Next it contains physical or electrical parameters that needs to be measured by designed system. The result is functional software, which contains mathematical library written in C++ and graphical user interface written in C#.

Geocaching Support on Pocket PCs with GPS

Modern technologies of pocket computers (personal digital asistents, PDA) and navigation systems - how to combine them to have a fun? This is the question, that this work tries to answer. In the first few chapters, the work informs reader about the GPS technology, about Geocaching stash hunting game and about technology of pocket computers. A Concept and implementation of WMGeo program, which could be the Geocaching solution for the PocketPC, is presented.

Software interface for database files

The bachelor thesis deals with the way how to access database files with the extension (* .shk), (* .sin) and (* .rau) based on Microsoft Acces 2.0. Document these files and create a software interface. The interface creates the given types of database files. Uploads measurement settings to RMS device measurement files. After the measurement, it extracts data from the database, which can then be further evaluated.

Dynamic Programming in Graph Algorithms

This work is about graph algorithms, their use and the benefit of the optimization method of dynamic programming. This benefit is show to the user via the graphic application. Graph algorithms find use in many sectors of human activity. They are used in packet routing or, for example, navigation. There are three methods of graph algorithms used in this work. This problems are solved with classic and dynamic way and measured data are compared.

Chess Program with Various Chess Variations

3D Video Browser

The aim of this project is to design and create application for the visualization of interconnected video data. Visualization takes place in 3D space and seeks to exploit its advantages (such as depth perception). This document contains survey to different categories of spatial user interfaces. In addition, includes three possible designs of user interfaces and control. Implementation details and made usability tests are also described. Application is implemented in C++ using Open Inventor. The document includes evaluation of the results and made tests.

Compilation of C++ Applications for Embedded Devices

This master's thesis deals with the integrations of C++ programming language and its standard C++11 into the compiler for embedded systems. This compiler is based on LLVM project and it is generated from Codasip Studio. Codasip Studio is tool for design of the aplication specific processor cores, it is also allows generate compiler, which is based on the description of semantics section in processor's instruction set for any target processor architecture. C++ is programming language based on the C, which is extended by object oriented design and many other features. C++ language allows writing of very effective code on high level of abstraction. Funcionality of implementation is tested on testsuite in last phase of master's thesis.

Deep Neural Networks Approximation

The goal of this work is to find out the impact of approximated computing on accuracy of deep neural network, specifically neural networks for image classification. A version of framework Caffe called Ristretto-caffe was chosen for neural network implementation, which was extended for the use of approximated operations. Approximated computing was used for multiplication in forward pass for convolution. Approximated components from Evoapproxlib were chosen for this work.
