Application for Controll System in Caravan
Řehulka, Marek ; Novotný, Tomáš (referee) ; Kořenek, Jan (advisor)
This Master's thesis deals with the development of a mobile application for a control of the supervisory system in caravans and motorhomes. The thesis presents the currently available principles and research of the existing solutions. This custom solution includes an Android application and a desktop application of the central unit simulator of the supervisory system. The simulator is based on the Node.js and node-webkit technologies. The simulator communicates with the devices available via RF Transciever and it simulates other devices. The mobile application communicates with the simulator via Bluetooth Low Energy and GSM. Major part of the implementation description is devoted to the Bluetooth Low Energy technology and to issues, which are associated with it. The resulting solution puts emphasis on the usability of the user interface and the ability to supervise a wide range of connected devices. The system also implements custom logic alerts for tracked events. The thesis concludes with evaluation of the resulting system and outlining the future development options.
Wireless sensor network
Ševčík, Martin ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Prokopec, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deal with the ZigBee wireless technology and design of a simple sensor network on its principle. The network is designed for a smaller apartment. As the temperature sensor is used DS1631 thermometer. Communi-cation of the coordinator with the computer ensures XPort®. Used modules from the Meshnetics company integrates the AVR processor and the radio transmitter / receiver at 2.4 GHz operating frequency.
Java Sun SPOT sensor nodes
Malina, Karel ; Komosný, Dan (referee) ; Holešinský, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis deals with the use of Java Sun SPOT sensor nodes for multipoint wireless temperature monitoring and regulation through these nodes. The theoretical part is the description, composition and operation of sensor nodes Sun Spot Java. In the practical part there are description of programmed applications in the NetBeans IDE for a wireless temperature monitoring, battery capacity and their views on a host computer in the form of a graph. In the second part of the practical section is described how temperature can be regulated using Sun SPOT nodes.
Miniature Tracking Device
Šťáva, Radek ; Levek, Vladimír (referee) ; Macháň, Ladislav (advisor)
The main theme of this masters's thesis is to design and make a miniature universal tracking device. This device is primarily for tracking asset, pets or people. For detecting the position data is used GPS technology. Data transmission is carried out via the GSM network. The device is technically solved and realized with respect to miniature size, high battery life and with regard to resistance against water, dust and impact damage. It is selected unique design, suitable for hermeticaly closure of the entire facility. Due to hermetic closure there is any buttons, any connectors and the battery charging is wireless.
Microelectronic Wireless Networks for Telemetry and Buildings Automation
Šulc, Vladimír ; Sýkora, Jiří (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (referee) ; Kuchta, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with a microelectronic wireless networks for telemetry and building automation in terms of energy consumption related to the communication in wireless networks. Assumption, mesh topology is optimal topology for wireless networks for telemetry and building automation, was proven and relation between energy consumption and devices management was shown and functional abstraction related to the energy consumption was described. Several advanced techniques and solutions on physical and network layers were proposed to increase network reliability and decrease power consumption. Proposed techniques can be easily implemented.
Wireless Remote Controller for Linear Repeater
Veselý, Tomáš ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Rumánek, Jaroslav (advisor)
The project deals with the problems of the wireless remote control of the linear repeater. The implementation is devided into two function parts. The first part is a network focusing on the input of instructions by the user, processing of the information, displaying the actual setting and sending the information on the given instructions. The second part deals with processing of the given information from the first part and its discharging. Both parts are controlled by the microprocessors.
Phishing and other risks of public Wi-Fi networks
Mäsiar, Daniel ; Luc, Ladislav (advisor) ; Sedláček, Jiří (referee)
This bachelor's thesis deals with problematics of public wireless networks, with focus on tho-se operating in densely populated areas such as public transport, libraries or fast-food restau-rants. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate how users of public Wi-Fi networks behave, what their customs are and how high is their awareness about possible threats. In the intro of the theoretical part of this paper, main standards and norms are listed, essential terms are defined and various types of possible wireless attacks are presented as well as briefly described. Further, this thesis inspects possible ways of protection against these attacks and finally, term phishing is concisely defined. The empirical part is dedicated to creating of a suitable tool for gathering statistical data about awareness of users at public places. Further, this tool is used in combination with phishing methodics for the actual statistical research. The whole process will follow the rules and laws defined by The Office for Personal Data in Czech Republic.
