Analysis of Regulatory Requirements in Cyber Security
Valenta, Lukáš ; Loutocký, Pavel (referee) ; Harašta, Jakub (advisor)
This thesis focuses on assessing the impact of NIS2, DORA and GDPR on regulated entities and evaluates the degree of overlap between their regulatory requirements. One of the objectives is the theoretical definition of regulatory overlaps. This overlay is then practically evaluated in the form of a GAP analysis in a selected model company, which compares the current level of cyber security, against the requirements of NIS2, DORA and GDPR. In case of non-compliance, corrective measures are proposed according to best practices. The results of the differential analysis are reflected in the application for a general assessment of the compliance rate in the assessed company.
FPGA application in LED matrix display controlling
Šunka, Pavel ; Bohrn, Marek (referee) ; Fujcik, Lukáš (advisor)
The thesis gives an overview of the issue of control of full-color RGB LED panels with a large number of rows and columns. It deals with communication protocols for image transfer and information exchange. It focuses on implementing the FPGA into the RGB LED control structure. In the first half, the thesis focuses on deepening the theoretical knowledge about LED technologies, their control and color display. It further solves communication with superior elements. The last part of the theory is dedicated to FPGA circuits. The second part of the thesis describes the practical design of the FPGA circuit from UART and SPI communication through data storage from the communication to the panel control itself.
Fractal of DNA sequence data
Nedvěd, Jiří ; Čech, Petr (referee) ; Valla, Martin (advisor)
This project is looking for fractal structury in DNA sequence data, which be maped in square ACGT. First, this project is introduced in problematics of fractals and targeted on making of Sierpinski gasket. Second, the project is introduced in DNA and DNA sequence. Next is sketched now known fractal’s structures in DNA sequence data or fractal’s structure closed DNA sequence. Then will changed metod chaos game of Sierpinski gasket to square ACGT, in where will drawen map of DNA sequences. Next, these pictures will processed by Box Counting Method and Power Spectrum Method.
Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit on physical education on fitness of girls from seventh of elememntary school
Floriánová, Linda ; Hráský, Pavel (advisor) ; Bunc, Václav (referee)
Title: Monitoring of influence of individual segments of a teaching unit of physical education on fitness of girls from seventh grade of elementary school. Aim: The aim of the empirical part is to monitor the proportional representation of the motoric activities during the time given in the lessons of physical education of the seventh grade girls, and along with the chosen methods of testing of these individuals, to prove or disprove possible influence of the composition of the P.E. lessons on the chosen segments of their fitness. Methods: Various methods were used for testing the considered sample. These were the standardized motoric tests (intense forward bend when sitting, place-jump with legs together, endurance in a pull-up, hand grip) which investigate the chosen segments of the fitness. Another method used was the bioimpedance which measures the parameters of body composition. The data were recollected quantitatively and the results were also processed quantitatively by means of statistic parameters, such as arithmetic mean, variation span and determinative deviation. Results: From the results of the work emerged that as far as the chosen motoric activities and their influence on the chosen segments of the fitness are concerned, during the time given only the segment of flexibility in...

Cloud Computing as a BCM tool
Lukášová, Pavlína ; Chlapek, Dušan (advisor) ; Dotlačil, Jaroslav (referee)
This thesis deals with possible interconnections between two concepts playing a big role in contemporary business and IT world. These concepts are Business Continuity Management and Cloud Computing. In the scope of this thesis there are certain areas identified where both concepts are complement, where Cloud Computing brings new opportunities for Business Continuity Management and where could possible problems arise during particular implementation. From the BCM perspective the impact lies on IT services, from the Cloud Computing perspective the thesis deals especially with security aspects. The thesis is also aimed at the characteristics of higher education and basic differences from commercial sphere. Based on defined differences and identified interconnections between BCM and Cloud Computing, the thesis argues for usage of suitable Cloud Computing solution for higher education regarding Business Continuity improvement. The multi-criterion comparison of several Infrastructure-as-a-Service solutions stems from this analysis focusing on technical, financial, and Business Continuity aspects. The result from this comparison together with conclusions from previous chapters serve as an input for subsequent practical proposal of Cloud Computing solution and its verification against Business Continuity improvement in specific conditions on University of Economics in Prague. The proposal is also represented by strategic map.
Business continuity management and virtual machines
Salák, Ondřej ; Pavlíček, Luboš (advisor) ; Martanová, Kateřina (referee)
The aim of this work is to provide a basic overview of ways to improve business continuity management and planning using virtualization. First, the reader is briefly introduced to the concept of Business continuity management and the concept of virtualization. Then the relationship between these two areas is analyzed. Finally, I chose to analyze a set of utilities, which come with VMware vSphere product, which is the product of VMware Company. The aim of the practical part is to verify the functionality of some of these tools.
