The thesis is based on a study drawn up in the subject AG032 - Ateliér architektonické tvorby. The designed building is situated in the Stará hora area. This area belongs to the village of Novosedly in the Břeclav district. The building is projected on the very top of Stará hora on a sloping estate. The building consists of two levels. On the extensive underground level, which is partially sunken in the slope, can be found the production, a presentation room, technical and sanitary facilities, storeroom, the caretaker’s flat and accommodation for 20 people. The Castle Area Břeclav
Bažík, Lenka ; Chuděj, Tomáš (referee) ; Žalmanová, Petra (advisor)
It is important to consider broader context to create a concept for a chateau complex in Breclav - within the region and mainly engaging in Lednice-Valtice Cultural Landscape (LVA). Buildings of LVA are a heritage of Lichtenstein as well as the chateau complex in Breclav. Breclav is also referred to as the gateway to the Lednice-Valtice area. Lednice-Valtice area has been from its beginning a place for recreation and entertainment and that is the concept of what it should be nowadays. Partly the buildings of LVA are used for various cultural events - concerts (Lednice), educational programs (Pohansko) and exhibitions (Valtice). However there are mostly only tours of the interiors and only seasonally. To fulfil the potential of the area it would be appropriate to join all of the buildings in one program that will support the current events and complement with other functions. I propose to use the chateau complex in Breclav as a cultural and recreational centre with outreach to the LVA. Breclav would complete the triangle with other centres in Lednice and Valtice.

BRECLAV - REVITALIZATION OF THE FORMER SUGAR REFINERY
Baťková, Kateřina ; Hýlová, Adéla (referee) ; Havliš, Karel (advisor)
The aim of the thesis is to create a strategy for the gradual integration of the dilapidated area into the city's cultural hub. This project is primarily focused on harnessing the lucrative position of a sugar factory in the center of the city and trying to create the ideal conditions for the emergence of a commercially viable urban environment within it. The area has the potential to create a much needed city center. The location is convenient and the existences of monumental former storage halls, which are among the oldest buildings in the city, would encapsulate the industrial heritage of Břeclav for this venture. Thus, the revitalization can assess both the area's location and surroundings, and more broadly even the more expansive imagery of the whole city. The task of the thesis is not to determine the final form of the area but rather to determine the direction in which the revitalization could go. Emphasis is placed on the process and methodology of renewal.
