Realization of Measurement System for Analogue Values with Memory
Sabol, Martin ; Dřínovský, Jiří (referee) ; Urbanec, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with transfering analogue values to digital form. Measuring values are saved with the information about time of measurement into the memory and these are ready to processing in PC. The Measurement system is composited from the main digital circuit, which is connected to measuring channel. Whole designed circuit with program equipment is exactly described in this work.
Optical beam intensity profile analysis
Fojtík, Jakub ; Vitásek,, Jan (referee) ; Barcík, Peter (advisor)
This work is focused on the study of the intensity profile of optical beams. In the first part problematics of optical beams from theoretical point of view is discussed, Model of realistically circular symmetric beam in an ideal lossless, stationary, homogeneous and isotropic medium is formed in Matlab®. The next part of the thesis deals with implementation of automatic workplace for measuring intensity profile of optical beams. Within the thesis - PCB desing of photodetector in Eagle®, is discussed. Custom application for controlling the motorized linear stage M – IMS 400 and communication with photodetector in the Microsoft Visual Studio 2010® was created.
Microcontroller based system equipped by light sensor
Judiny, Martin ; Šťastný, Ladislav (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis was to develop and describe the concept sensor of lighting, controlled by microcontroller. In first part is theoretical evaluation of our task and in second part are developed schematic and PCB. Based on theoretical analysis has been chosen the most appropriate sensor.
Design of measurement unit for analysis of surface materials properties
Kratochvíl, Robert ; Rozsívalová, Zdenka (referee) ; Frk, Martin (advisor)
The thesis deals with the application of laser beams for examination of material properties. The properties being examined are quality of surface finish and transmissivity of materials in the optical portion of the electromagnetic spectrum. A measuring device containing laser diodes as a source of laser beam and photodiodes for evaluation of examined phenomena serves for examination of both properties. Conversion of the signal to digital quantity and its further processing take place in a microcontroller. The data is then sent via a serial bus and a converter to a computer, where it may be saved in a user program and where the user can work with them later. The thesis contains results of reflectivity measurement of a set of metal samples with different surface finish. Transmissivity measurement was applied on a set of optical filters.
Position system design
Balogh, Jaroslav ; Čížek, Martin (referee) ; Čech, Petr (advisor)
The purpose of this diploma thesis was to explore possibilities, design and build 2D position system driven by PC via USB. ATmega16 and FT232R were used as the most important parts of hardware solution. Software for control of the position system was designed in C++ Builder and it can run under MS Windows XP. This work is based on semestral thesis and in future can be used in other applications or modified. 2D position system will be later used by UBMI in education and scientific applications.
Automatic switch control unit
Zlý, Marián ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Havlíková, Marie (advisor)
The main topic of this Master's Thesis is design and implementation of automatic range switch AC/DC Transfer Standart Fluke 792A. In the first part is introduce and description of character and the parameters AC/DC trasfer Standart Fluke 792A and design of the Automatic range switch for this equipment. In the next part is introduce design and description of realize automatic switch control unit it has comunication faculty witch PC over GPIB bus. In the finish part is show of the theoretic description for GPIB bus and her realization with helped microcontroller Atmega16.
Design and construction of double laboratory power supply
Klein, Miroslav ; Šebesta, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This semester thesis deals with design of double laboratory DC power supply with adjustable voltage and current limitation. Power supply can work in two states. First state allows regulation of output voltage from 0V to 40V and current limitation from 0A to 3A. In second state the range of output voltage is from 0V to 18V and output current can be set from 0A to 6A. Both supplies are galvanically separated and can work independently, or can be combined. Whole power supply is digitally controlled by microcontroller.
Hardware and software for mobile robots
Sárközy, Gabriel ; Skula, David (referee) ; Veselý, Miloš (advisor)
The aim of this work is to modify hardware and software of small mobile robots, so they can be better used in Micromouse and Path Follower challenges. The first part of the project includes debugging and creating of a correct documentation of the existing electric circuits used in the robot called RUBRIK. My work was also to design and realize mechanical, electrical and software upgrades. The second part includes the design and realization of similar modifications of the robot ROBIK. Each robot has an Atmel AVR microcontroller. Robots are programmed in C programming language.
Aplication of modern temperature sensors with microprocessor AVR
Hána, Jan ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
This thermometer is based on integrated temperature senzor SMT 160–30, it is destined for temperature measurement in household or in industrial application where we do not need to know the precision temperature. Measured data are displayed on LCD and currently transmitted with RS232 up to PC, where it can be computerized.
Path following module for FEEC BUT advertising robot
Feik, Tomáš ; Hynčica, Ondřej (referee) ; Kříž, Vlastimil (advisor)
The goal of this work is to implement modul into chassis of advertising robot FEKT in Brno (FEKTBOT), which allows moving along predefined lane. It requires precisely scanning intensity of magnetic field from magnetic tape, from which is realized robot route. Additionally it is necessary to secure sefety of people around robot.
