Robot Development Platform
Lörinc, Marek ; Žák, Marek (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with the design and creation of a development platform for a robot designed especially for beginners. For this purpose is used the microcontroller AVR ATmega32 for which is designed and manufactured circuit board. It also deals with creating a robot on this platform, which contains the most used components in robotics. This robot will provide beginners all the necessary information to build their own robot. The last part of the thesis is the design and creation of the application, which will serve to control the robot and obtain the necessary information from the robot via Bluetooth. The application is designed to everyone could use it to control their robot.
Application for a Android Smartphone and Tablet for Control of the iNELS RF Unit
Šreibr, Jakub ; Richter, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The first part deals with the issue of intelligent electrical installations. It describes the types and their advantages and disadvantages. It deals in detail with the wireless system iNELS RF Control, which was developed by ELKO EP s.r.o. It describes the principles of communication and selected elements of the system. It also discusses the Android platform and its capabilities. Another part consists of requirements analysis and application design for control of the system iNELS RF Control. Application design consists of used architecture model, description of communication, database model and application logic’s model. The fourth part describes the implementation of applications, including the technology, development tools and system components. It contains a description of the final application parts. The fifth section deals with testing of the application. It contains methods, tools and techniques. The conclusion contains appreciation of the work and achievements.
Using Wearables for Medicine Applications
Abraham, Lukáš ; Rozman, Jaroslav (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor thesis contains digest of interesting weareable devices which focus or are usedin medicine. Information about the applications for mobile devices and medicine which aremade for usual wearable devices can be found in this thesis as well. The solution which isapplied on weareable devices which are used in medicine is also described here. The solutionis made for wearable device (watch) Garmin VivoActive Hr and a mobile phone which runson Android platform. Watch VivoActive Hr is placed around the wrist and it takes a shotof the movement and the pulse of the person. Thanks to the accelerometer it can identifythe number of steps which were taken during the day by the person. These data are sentfrom the watch to the smart phone which runs on the Android platform and the applicationwhich evaluates these data is able to send an SMS or an email if the situation is evaluatedas an emergency.
Detection, Localization and Determination of Chronic Wounds
Gulán, Filip ; Dvořák, Michal (referee) ; Drahanský, Martin (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to design and implement a multiplatform application for detection, localization and determination of the extent of chronic wounds. The application is intended to assist nurses, doctors and healthcare assistants to monitor and evaluate chronic wounds in the course of treatment. The application is based on the Typescript programming language, on the Ionic hybrid application framework and on the Electron desktop application framework. Chronic wound assessment runs on the server-side where the Python programming language is used. The Flask application framework is used for the RESTful application interface and the OpenCV library is used for image processing.
Mobile App for Making Challenges and Taking Part in Them
Plachý, Tomáš ; Kolář, Martin (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
This thesis deals with the problematics of designing, implementing and testing of mobile application for operationg systems iOS and Android.     The main work of this thesis is development of an application, which allows its users to create challenges and invite their friends to participate in them. Users can also watch the progress of other participants in a challenge, which can give themselve more motivation to complete the challenge.   The application was designed and developed with focus on opinions of its users. I have started by developing a prototype in order to find out, which functions do the users find the most crucial. Thereafter I created the first official version, which was subsequently iteratively improved with regard to feedback from testers.
Wearable Devices: Possibilities of Using and Applications
Herec, Jan ; Luža, Radim (referee) ; Samek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis focuses on wearable devices that are currently actual topic. It presents their history, communication methods and capabilities of application. It further describes created solution that demonstrates the application of wearable devices for controlling a robot. The solution consists of a wearable device named Myo armband, an Android application and a robot on the platform ROS (Robot operating system). A Myo armband has a form of a bracelet that is placed on a forearm and contains sensors such as a magnetometer, a gyroscope, an accelerometer and an EMG (electromyographic sensors for sensing muscle activity on which base certain gestures are recognized). The application is designed for controlling a mobile robot capable of moving forward, backward and veer based on gestures and movements of a hand on which a Myo armband is attached. For this purpose, the application reads the relevant data from a wearable device using Bluetooth LE (Low Energy), then evaluates them and sends control messages via Wi-Fi technology to a robot. The description of a robot is discussed in more detail further below. The usage of the application (which is the main contribution of the author) and a Myo armband enable to control a set of mobile robots driven by the Robotic operating system (ROS).
A Container for Migratating Software Components Running on Android OS
Ščešňák, Vladimír ; Křivka, Zbyněk (referee) ; Rychlý, Marek (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with creating a container for the migration components that are used on the Android operating system, how they operate and distribute, the life cycle of the container, and the ability to customize other components for this container. The work deals with the analysis of the Android operating system, existing solutions, the design of the own container and the way of distributing the components on the devices where the container is used. The next section describes the implementation of the server component that distributes components. It also deals with the implementation of container-containing library and a sample application that illustrates how it is possible to link all these elements together.
HDR Image Acquisition on Mobile Devices
Mik, Filip ; Musil, Martin (referee) ; Nosko, Svetozár (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with aquisition of high dynamic range images. The resulting HDR image is created by processing of LDR image sequence - by merging and then tone mapping. This thesis includes description of all issues related to the process of acquisition and displaying HDR image. Whole process is then implemented in form of Android application.
Mobile App for Receiving Podcasts and Audeliver.com
Janota, Maroš ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to implement a mobile application for receiving podcasts from Audeliver service. It is using modern graphic design for user interface based on Material Design. The application provides automatic synchronization of podcasts and downloading of newest episodes. All information about all episodes are  saved into the Realm database. Individual chapters explain theoretical information about podcasts and developing of applications for Android platform. The other chapters describe design, testing, and implementation of the MyPodcasts application.
