Luminiscence of uranyl minerals and possibilities of its use as an analytical method
Cenek, Ondřej ; Goliáš, Viktor (advisor) ; Zachariáš, Jiří (referee)
This paper deals with the study of luminescence of uranyl minerals in ultraviolet radiation. Mineral samples of metaautunite, schröckingerite, natrozippeite and saléeite were studied. Twenty samples were selected for research and they were unambiguously determined using X-ray diffraction and energy dispersive spectrometry. For each sample, a luminescence spectrum was taken at 405 nm excitation radiation. Luminescence spectra were analyzed. The luminescence spectra of metaautunite contain 6 energy maxima. The maximum with the highest intensity is at an average position of 525.1 nm. Anomalous values are shown by two samples with an admixture of metauranocircite. The luminescence spectra of saléeite show a shift to lower wavelengths compared to metaautunite, caused by a change in the main cation (Ca - Mg). The spectra of saléeite show 5-7 energy maxima and the maximum with the highest intensity is at an average position of 521.2 nm. The spectra of schröckingerite contain 8-9 energy maxima and the maximum with the highest intensity is at an average position of 505.4 nm. An anomalous spectrum is shown by a sample with liebigite admixture. The luminescence spectra of natrozippeite are different compared to the other minerals used in this work. The spectra do not show isolated energy maxima, but one broad...
Design of Data Warehouse and Data Structure in BigQuery for Selected Business
Šimková, Michaela ; Kříž, Jiří (referee) ; Luhan, Jan (advisor)
This master's thesis focuses on the design and implementation of a data warehouse and data structure in the BigQuery cloud environment, with the aim of analyzing data obtained from Google Analytics 4 and subsequent automation of processing these data and their visual interpretation. The theoretical part of the work presents key concepts and principles related to Business Intelligence, data warehouses, web analytics, and Business Intelligence tools in the cloud environment, thus providing the necessary theoretical basis for the practical part of the work. The practical part deals with the design of the data warehouse structure and a specific design of the logical and conceptual model of the data marketplace and its implementation in BigQuery. It describes the company's requirements, extraction of data from the primary system, creation of SQL queries to obtain historical data, and creation of ETL processes for automated processing of new data. The work also includes visualization of the obtained data using the Looker Studio, resulting in an interactive report allowing visual display of data for easier analysis. The objective of this work is to provide an efficient solution for processing web and application data of the selected company using BigQuery. This will enable the company to gain a better understanding of the acquired data, thereby facilitating strategic and informed decision-making.
Analytical Dashboard for Indoor Locating System
Petrovič, Lukáš ; Ščuglík, František (referee) ; Veselý, Vladimír (advisor)
The main purpose of this work is to create an application which will provide visualisation of historical data from position sensors. The data are being obtained from closed spaces, for example shops, gymnasiums or halls. These data are valuable but without easily usable visualisation they will lose their potential. Right visualisation allows user to better evaluate situation which the data represents. Result of this work is a tool with which the user is able to easily analyse data gained in certain time interval. For the needs of analysis, the application provides various kinds of data representations, which assign the data specific purpose. Data might be presented in graphs for example for the purpose of representation of the total overcomed distance of monitored object. They can also be used in maps which provide good representation of positions due to monitored area. All created visualization elements are put into interactive blocks. These blocks make up almost whole control panel. It is easy to manipulate with these blocks and to edit created visualisation with their help.
Analysis and Visualization of e-Mail Marketing Campaigns
Urbanczyk, Martin ; Holkovič, Martin (referee) ; Hynek, Jiří (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is evaluating Posílátko.cz application and making extensions on the basis of thorough analysis and comparison of other similar products. This extensions are going to lead into increased user awareness of campagins state, so user can react accordingly. Extensions are going to be founded mostly on statistics data. Next I am going to implement campaign summary documents, where people can find all the data without logging into the application. So user can take this documents and present it easily on corporate consultations.

Využití Business Intelligence
Doleček, Radek ; Kubálková, Markéta (advisor) ; Kubálek, Tomáš (referee)
Abstract The goal of this bachelor thesis is try to refer to a rising trend of whole issue of Business Intelligence. An interdisciplinary approach to the company data analytics in various business and industry sectors has had rising tendency and there is a potential in many cases to effektively speed as well as to ease the position relating to the area of the field in which the leaders, managers or experienced users are capable of working on new strategies, leadership and controling and organizing a company. Also an aspiration is to point to avalaible resources of processing data in the field of retailing as the main influencing factors for marketing and finance management. This thesis is connected with information to lead the reader from theoretical part and introducing the thesis to the main goal of this work, to partly uncover the resources in business data, outline their practical use and not and last but not least to evoke the interest of a reader in the comprehensive problem.
Functional testing of software applications
Heinová, Tereza ; Souček, Jiří (advisor) ; Pokorný, Jan (referee)
Bachelor thesis describes the course of functional software testing. The first part defines the place and importance of testing in software development process. Explains the basic types of tests used and their purpose. Attention is paid to the roles that are in the process of testing a key role. In the second part of the work, a more detailed description of all phases of the life cycle of functional testing software. The cornerstone of the testing cycle of planning, explained there is access to the drafting process and its testing schedule. The second phase is to prepare an environment for testing. Following the completion of testing followed by evaluation of test results. Here are discussed the principles of entering errors and their subsequent solutions. Part of the preparation for testing is the selection of appropriate support tools and the creation of test scripts. Conclusion The thesis evaluates the importance of testing in software development process.
Big Data analysis in healthcare
Nováková, Martina ; Kučera, Jan (advisor) ; Chlapek, Dušan (referee)
This thesis deals with the analysis of Big Data in healthcare. The aim is to define the term Big Data, to acquaint the reader with data growth in the world and in the health sector. Another objective is to explain the concept of a data expert and to define team members of the data experts team. In following chapters phases of the Big Data analysis according to methodology of EMC2 company are defined and basic technologies for analysing Big Data are described. As beneficial and interesting I consider the part dealing with definition of tasks in which Big Data technologies are already used in healthcare. In the practical part I perform the Big Data analysis task focusing on meteorotropic diseases in which I use real medical and meteorological data. The reader is not only acquainted with the one of recommended methods of analysis and with used statistical models, but also with terms from the field of biometeorology and healthcare. An integral part of the analysis is also information about its limitations, the consultation on results, and conclusions of experts in meteorology and healthcare.
