Career opportunities for alumni of the Health and Social Care programme on the labour market

The goal of this bachelor's thesis was to map out career opportunities for alumni of the Health and Social Care programme. The key themes of this topic are defined in the theoretical section. The research portion was realized using the method of qualitative research, which was fulfilled using semi-structured interviews with five participants. The results were processed using open and axial coding. The research section poses the following three research questions. What is the current employment of alumni of the Health and Social Care programme? (In the case of further education, what do they currently study?) It was found that the participants work in different areas and positions in the social field and two participants are studying a master's programme in management. How do the alumni characterize their experience on the labour market? It was found that the experience of the participants on the labour market is very diverse. The process of finding employment and its difficulty are very individual and can be associated with different obstacles. What experiences did the alumni of the Health and Social Care programme gain during their studies that are now valuable considering their current employment and what would they change about the programme? Generally, the participants consider their professional practice during their studies to be the most valuable. However, they would recommend changing the contents and the manners of theoretical subjects. This thesis can contribute to students and those interested in becoming students of the Health and Social Care programme. This thesis is also contributing by giving feedback to the University of South Bohemia České Budějovice.
Evaluation of Financing of Universities in the Czech Republic and Abroad and Proposals to its Improvement

The diploma theses evaluates situation of universities in the Czech Republic and one foreign University 2003 – 2007. The Graduation theses compares their efficiency through the selected indicators. Diploma work evaluates proportion of public sources from state budget financing and non public sources and compares this status with foreign university. Diploma includes analysis, suggestions and recommendation for improvement of existing status with regard to future development, when university should become more self-sufficiency and be able to ensure service availability, validity and return of sources.

The thesis analyzes variable foreign languages and their required level for graduates in professional life. Even more the thesis analyzes opportunities for personal development in the field of learning languages. It specifies the languages from a professional point of view and thanks to the theoretical and analytical knowledge provides suggestions and solutions for further personal development of future graduates.
Employability of graduates of the follow-up master's programme in addictology with an original bachelor's degree in another field

Background: The follow-up Master's programme in Addictology was first opened in the academic year 2010/2011. Applicants from the graduates of the bachelor's programme in addictology as well as graduates of other bachelor's programmes are eligible to apply. Miovsky et al. (2021) give examples of applicants from related fields such as psychology, social work or general nursing. Candidates studying the programme do not gain eligibility to practise as an addictologist; it is an interest-based study. The employability of graduates of the master's degree in addictology alone has not yet been mapped separately. Pavlovska (2018) examined in detail the employability of all graduates of addictology from 2008 to 2016. The study expands on this work by specifically focusing on the employability of master's-only graduates with an original bachelor's degree in another discipline and adds data through January 2023. Aims: The aim of the research is to map the employability of graduates of a follow-up Master's programme in Addictology with an original Bachelor's degree in another discipline. Motivation of graduates of the bachelor's study programme Addictology to work in addiction treatment services

Background: A study programme Addictology was first opened in the academic year of 2005/2006. The profession of addictologist was enshrined in legislation by the Act No. 96/2004, of paramedical professions, in 2007. Thus, graduates in bachelor's degree in addictology became healthcare professionals gaining qualification to exercise this profession (Miovský et al., 2021). Job motivation represents a psychological process bringing energy and giving direction to work of a person. Motivation to choose and remain in helping professions is the topic of many specialised publications in Czech and foreign literature but minimum number of those focusing on motivation for work in addiction treatment services. Addictology as a field of study is specific not only by its historical context and development, but also by its scope and specialization. This might be also influential in specificity of motivation of workers to enter and stay working in the services. The aim of this thesis is a general presentation of Czech sections in the French cities Dijon and Nîmes, their history, political background, and general characteristics of studies at these schools. The aim of the theses is to describe the historical connections with Czech Republic, to present the studies in general, to show and describe the pros and cons of these schools and to introduce the graduates of these Czech sections and to present a group of the graduate students. For those who are interested in studying at schools in Dijon and Nîmes, this thesis might be a good general source of information. Above all, the aim is to provide a general overview of these schools. The aim of the thesis, which focuses on aspects affecting unemployment and finding employment of university graduates in the Zlín Region, is to assess the ability of university graduates to succeed in the labour market. The data analysis, based on responses of randomly selected university graduates working or seeking employment in the Zlin Region, has become an important point in order to accomplish the objective. The diploma thesis consists of two parts. The first part is theoretical, dealing with the problems of the labour market and unemployment, while the second part is practical. The practical part is based on the analysis of the survey results, afterwards recommendations for students / graduates and universities were implemented.

Diploma thesis deals with consumer behaviour of young people concretely graduates of tertiary education on the labour market. It focuses on identifying the factors that influence graduates during their studies and describes their decision making process. In order to determine consumer behaviour quantitative and qualitative methods were used. Electronic questionnaire survey as quantitative method was held since November 2013 until March 2014 and in total 651 respondents participated. Interviews as qualitative method were carried out with 30 respondents. All the results were used for the compilation of the model of consumer behaviour and for giving recommendations for subjects who are involved in this issue.

The bachelor thesis deals with unemployment and the way it influences the graduates in the district of Vsetín. This bachelor thesis is divided into 2 parts. The theoretical part focuses on the main characteristics of labour market and unemployment. In the practical part, the bachelor thesis is centred on the characteristics of the district of Vsetín, the analysis of the state of unemployment in the recent years as well as the effects on the graduates in the above mentioned district. The analysis will be conducted by using sta-tistical methods and questionnaire survey.
