The Bridge
Medek, Lukáš ; Mariánek, Michal (referee) ; Zubek, Petr (advisor)
The Bridge: Pong Evolution describes the evolution of visuality in computer games in the symbolic way. The piece focuses on the most common elements used in graphics, gameplay, styles and technologies both in history and nowadays. Then it uses them in one single evolving environment. The work is also criticizing some contemporary (and past) trends commonly used in video games.
3D data presentation
Matyskiewicz, Jiří ; Petyovský, Petr (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
Thesis deals with manipulation, archiving and viewing of 3D data. Theoretic part contains basic introduction to the field. Practical part of the thesis is design and implementation of the library for viewing 3D data and viewer / editor using this library. Library is written in c++ computer language and it’s intended to be used as a dynamic linked library, which functionality can be easily enhanced with additional plug-in modules without need to modify the source code of the library. Actual viewing is not tied to any specific type of graphical API, library can be extended with plug-in for rendering using any software or hardware. Part of the implementation is plug-in for rendering 3D data using OpenGL interface.
Comparison of 3D objects in JAVA language
Zapletal, Tomáš ; Smékal, Zdeněk (referee) ; Šmirg, Ondřej (advisor)
The main aim of the thesis is loading of 3D models in different file formats and its displaying, creating of slices from 3D models and vice versa making 3D models from slices, quantify inaccuracy of anti-aliasing and other formatting and investigate similarity of original and edited models. Everything in Java programming language and its extensions for 3D object tasks. Thesis builds on earlier project „3D shape from MRI“.
3D simulation toolbox
Matyskiewicz, Jiří ; Babinec, Tomáš (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This project deals with the design and implementation of the extensible programmable environment intended for the creation of various 3D simulations, specifically targeted for testing of the algorithms and creation of applications from the field of computer vision and robotics. Environment VISIMBOX was implemented in c# programming language and uses OpenGL as back-end for hardware accelerated rendering.
Control and visualization of automated building
Rompotl, Zdeněk ; Ondráček, Oto (referee) ; Tlustý, Jiří (advisor)
The automation of buildings mainly in the large and office buildings is very discussed issue in nowadays time. The advantages of automated buildings fundamentally consist in the lowering of the operation costs, more safety and the protection of property. The building can be monitored and controlled towards the proceeding processes and states. It is able to use local or remote monitoring and controlling. More comfortable controlling is next important factor. This thesis describes European installation bus EIB and its communication with visualization a control system called Control Web. Control Web communicates with the electronic security system Galaxy for complete monitoring of the whole building. The complex system ensues by the mutual link of these technologies. It is possible to lower effectively the total costs for the business among other things. The result of this project is the developed application in the system Control Web 6, which is used in the building of the company ATX, ltd. in Žďár nad Sázavou. The Visualization is targeted in the two dimensional view and 3D view, which is used very often today. Web representation is used as well because web browser is part of the every operating system. The integral part of visualization is process automatic control.
3D Graphics and games
Vataščinová, Lenka ; Bubeníček, Jan (advisor) ; Truhlář, Filip (referee)
In my bachelor thesis, I am going to introduce the topic of 3D graphics in the game environment. Firstly, I will provide a brief introduction of history of 3D graphics in general, but with the emphasis on history of game industry in particular. Next, I will present 3D graphics of RPG games in particular, and I will analyse the graphical side of digital work production. The main contribution of this thesis is provided in the practical part, which deals with creation of an environment for an animated film, which is inspired by sci-fi RPG games introduced in the theoretical part.
Use of 3D graphics in the creation of product visualization
Dušek, Václav ; Bubeníček, Jan (advisor) ; Vítek, Pavel (referee)
By means of my bachelor thesis "Use of 3D graphics in the creation of product visualization" I want to first familiarize a reader with 3D computer graphics and its application in practice. The thesis is not limited only to 3D graphics; it is also devoted to photography and composition in the visual arts. As there are more ways to create product visualisation, the main contribution is in the practical part of the paper, which deals with these possibilities. For consistency and better understanding, the practical part contains the product chain outlining the plan of a commission to create product visualization. In the last part of the thesis, I simulate a specific order for product visualization of the LG G2 smartphone. The conclusion of the thesis evaluates the individual methods by means of the output visualizations and sums up the issues of product visualization.
Options of the Cinema 4D program for desining complex 3D environment
Bílková, Stanislava ; Bubeníček, Jan (advisor) ; Vítek, Pavel (referee)
This bachelor thesis is focused on Cinema 4D software, which is used for creating of 3D graphics its' functionality and tools ready to use for designing of complex 3D environment. Summary of other possible softwares which are used for 3D graphics. Introducing to the 3D vizualization process and creating of vizualization of objects in software Cinema 4D and converting these in to the concrete project. Solving problems connected to the computer hardware and large amount of processed data during rendering 3D scenes and animaitons.
3D modelling in Blender
Matiášek, Tomáš ; Šedivá, Zuzana (advisor) ; Pour, Jan (referee)
The goal of this work is to create a comprehensive manual for program Blender. The work will guide a beginner user through the process of modelling. Blender is a free software used for creating animations and 3D visualizations which can then be used in the television industry, game industry, movies or commercials. This work in it's introduction mentions benefits and disadvantages of this product and lists similar products available worldwide. The rest of the work is dedicated to creating 3D models and describes scene modelling, texturing, lighting and rendering practices.
