Change Management in an Organization

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the management of changes in a selected business organization. The literary survey deals with changes and their types, steps through which changes are implemented, why people dislike changes, what are the main barriers to changes and what is business re-engineering. Next follows a characteristics and historic development of the organization EXTE SPOJ s.r.o., where the analytical part of this work was performed. Another part of this work involves the analysis of external and internal environments, where the STEP analyses was implemented, complemented with dissection of the financial, marketing and person aspects. Finally, a SWOT analysis dealing with strong and weak aspects, as well as opportunities and risks of the company, has also been included. Another part of the thesis is a directed discussion with the manager representing the company. In the next chapter, all the analyses have been evaluated and a time table of changes has been suggested. The thesis is concluded with 8 steps summarizing proposed changes, which should improve the approval rate of the customers and should eventually help the company in its future development.
Methodology for Requirements Engineering and Software Quality Management with the usage of Enterprise Architect tool.

Requirements Engineering and Software Quality Management is nowadays considered to be one of the important parts of the software development process. This thesis deals with connecting the theoretical concept of requirements engineering and usage of functions offered by Enterprise Architect tool, which should support the requirements engineering and software quality management processes. The main goal is to propose procedures of Enterprise Architect usage during the project in such a way, which will help to raise quality of the final product. The purpose is to offer a systematic and conscious way of implementation Enterprise Architect elements into software development processes, because this tool is able to support the whole cycle of the product. The methodology was designed as a result of theoretical concept, existing requirements engineering approaches and my own experience acquired during working on projects as a business and test analyst. The contribution of the designed methodology is in bringing recommendations, practices and procedures saying how to use Enterprise Architect during the software development process in order to gain the highest possible software quality. The thesis is structured in four sections describing the appropriate theory, analyzed requirement engineering approaches, critical mistakes during this process and the methodology design.
Business process optimization required by an implementation of a new logistic system

The master thesis deals with business process optimization which has to be in a place due to a global implementation of a new logistic information system. The aim is to ensure a process analysis of a current status of selected processes of a company part which is going to be influenced by this implementation. Then to highlight and to stress on the biggest risks and disadvantages of a current status. Final result will be a proposal of new optimized process flows on a higher level of maturity which will meet all requirements set by a new information system, by an information need of a local management and will be helpful to customer service improvement. The first part of the thesis covers theoretical base of a business process management, process modeling and business process optimization approaches which prepare a base for their application in the second practical part of this thesis.

The subject of my bachelor's thesis is utilization of change management in introducing E-invoicing to businesses, and the application of all acquired knowledge to a particular company. The study thoroughly defines the term 'change management', divides electronic interchange of invoice data into specific subtypes, and describes said process's advantages and disadvantages in comparison to paper invoices. The second part of my study focuses on practical application and is based on a structured interview with an employee of a selected company. The thesis concludes with evaluating necessary expenses, and resources thusly saved.
Change management and related influence on IS/ICT

The topic of this thesis is change management. A summary of the topic is made in the first part of this thesis so that a reader has the theoretical background to read further. In the second part, the author describes five most important change management methods. These methods are described, analyzed and compared to one another. Five hypotheses about the most influential factors to the outcome of a change project were created out of the analysis. These hypotheses cover the entire span of a typical change project and are tested in the practical part of this thesis. The practical part of the thesis relies on a thorough case studies analysis and interviews. By analyzing the case studies and the interviews, the author was able to judge the validity of set hypotheses and create a set of recommendations for future change projects. These recommendations are based on many real situations and therefore are valuable for future reference. The role of information technology in change management is also emphasized at the end of the thesis.
Use of ITIL in the organization

The aim of this paper is to introduce the possibility of using the ITIL framework in the organization and the management of services, or IT Service Management. The work is divided into two parts. The theoretical part focuses on the general presentation of the ITIL framework. In this part the reader will be familiar with the history and origin of the ITIL framework itself, its general operating principles, characteristics, and ultimately there will also be presented comparing the various versions of the ITIL framework, including linkage to other frameworks and standards. The second part aims to present the practical possibility of using ITIL within the organization, but they are not directly mentioned, in order to avoid possible damage resulting from the company's presentation of some internal processes and principles. For the purpose of this study, however, will be fully adequate to characterize the company only of a few aspects that make possible to demonstrate the possibilities of using the ITIL framework. Since the ITIL framework is very comprehensive and extensive, it would be in the range of this work in practice to introduce the possibility of using the ITIL framework, and therefore work will focus on one of the key processes, which is the process of Change Management (Change Management). The content of the practical work is mainly an analysis of the current state of implementation of the change management process, its evaluation and formulation of recommendations for streamlining.

The thesis is dedicated to management of projects that focus transitional and transformational changes in organizations. The theoretical part of the thesis covers terminology and definition of change management. Project and change management dependencies are defined. Consequently, Prosci change management methodology, Kotter's 8 Steps for Leading Change and GE Change acceleration process are analyzed. Finally, a methodology for practical part of the thesis is selected. Practical part includes description and usage of most frequent CAP tools as well as a case study. A real change project is described and evaluated from CAP methodology perspective.

Furthermore, analyse of business processes in a particular company. The theoretical part is aimed at defining the basic concepts and methods descriptions of change management. In the practical part I am mapping the processes in the company and suggesting their reengineering. Based on the analysis I am suggesting the possibilities of further changes in the company.

The objective of the diploma paper "Organizational Behaviour and Corporate Culture" is to evaluate the current level of the organizational behaviour and the corporate culture in the allowance organization Centrum služeb pro silniční dopravu, that is managed by the Traffic Department of the Czech Republic. The partial aims are finding imperfections by means of questionnaires and the draft of measures, which would improve the present condition. The theoretical part refers to the account of conceptions of the organizational behaviour and the corporate culture. In the practical part the organization Centrum služeb pro silniční dopravu is described. This part is focused on activities, that have in light of organizational behaviour and corporate culture connection with the aims of this diploma paper. Furthermore in this part there are charactered results from the questionnaire research.
Suggestion of change in production process of castings with focus on increase of productivity of labour, quality and costs saving

This diploma work is focused on evaluation of opportunities to improvement and modernization of production process of castings in company ŽĎAS a.s. As base are in theoretical part informations about business process management and change management (Deming's improvement cycle, theory of constraints, reengeneering, concept of quality management). Practical part analyses concrete opportunity to modernization of molding section and compares it with technology which is now used.
