Gallery and museum education in primary school
Lišmanová, Aneta ; Kitzbergerová, Leonora (advisor) ; Novotná, Magdalena (referee)
In thesis I focus on the current position of art gallery and museum education, which is influenced by science disciplines pedagogy and museology. In the theoretical part, on the basis of specialized literature, I define terms related to the theme of the work (gallery/museum pedagogy and educator, gallery/museum educator position within the institution, General educational program etc.). I am seeking further possibilities of cooperation and limits of cooperation of an elementary school with galleries/museums as institutions that have educational potential. Didactic work is based on qualitative research, which mainly uses the methods of open coding of videos from executed programs. My intention is to compare the differences and similarities in the implementation of educational programs between the 1st and 5th grade. Based on defined objectives I evaluate their implementation in accordance with educational programs, which are crucial for cooperation of galleries and schools. The focus is mainly on the conception, implementation and reflection of a three-phase educational program. The didactic part also reveals a possible link to the interdisciplinary relations. In the creative part of the thesis, I compile a topic of an authoring book, on the theme of the exhibition of Květa Pacovská: Maximum Contrast.
The merger of the National Museum and the Náprstek Museum as an example of relationships between cultural institutions and provincial authorities during the First Republic
Egrová, Miroslava ; Woitschová, Klára (advisor) ; Jůn, Libor (referee)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to present the complicated process of connecting the Náprstek Museum to the National Museum lasting the entire period of the first Czechoslovak Republic. In this process, both the political representations of their time and, above all, the very sophisticated contemporary relations of the Provincial Office as the executive body of the Czech country and the then cultural institutions, regardless of whether they were already owned by the province, state or private, played a significant role. The bachelor thesis also deals with the establishment of both institutions and their condition and problems before entering the new state. For a comprehensive view, the bachelor thesis also summarizes the development of the Náprstek Museum after 1938. The process of this specific interconnection of the two institutions is an interesting probe into the real course of the contemporary provincial administration with all its problems, the most significant of which was the lack of funds. The bachelor's thesis draws mainly from the collections of the Archives of the National Museum and the National Archives and previously published literature, unfortunately not rich. Keywords The National Museum, The Náprstek Museum of Asian, African and American Cultures, administration, land...

Čábelová, Simona ; Rusek, Martin (advisor) ; Bílek, Martin (referee)
This thesis deals with the aspect of outdoor education of chemistry in the context of the natural science literacy concept. This concept is approximated here in association with the curricula documents for secondary education level and the Contextual model of learning. Based on the description of individual contexts of the aforementioned model, an alternative variant of an excursion to the Prague Waterworks Museum in Podolí is proposed. The practical part focuses on the comparison of the efficiency of the "classic" conception of a museum excursion and the alternative approach mentioned previously. The whole concept adheres to the pedagogical experimental scheme. The comparison is achieved through three testings in two groups. The first, control group, had a standard excursion led by a museum guide. The second, experimental group, had an excursion led in the proposed alternative approach. Based on the first tests - the pretests, the starting knowledge of the pupils is analyzed. The second testing is executed as posttests right after finishing each excursion. The third testing is a retention test one month after the excursion. Test results were analyzed using statistical methods. The results of the analysis point to the considerable importance of the way the excursion is led and to the great benefit of...
