The aim of this thesis is the analysis of the privatization process of Skoda Auto. Starý, Filip ; Štípek, Vladimír (advisor) ; Zeman, Martin (referee)
This bachelor thesis deals with potential and effectiveness of long-distance cycling routes EuroVelo in the Czech Republic. The thesis is based on hypothesis of sustainability of the project. For the sustainability is necessary concurrence of three functions -- sociocultural, environmental and economical. The set hypothesis is considered from multiple views. Firstly SWOT analysis was made -- this analysis shows the most important internal and external factors of project. Moreover this analysis confirms sociocultural and environmental sustainability of project. Then cost-benefit analysis was carried out. This cost-benefit analysis creates the required minimum number of use of cycling routes EuroVelo per year (with given opportunity costs) so that the project will be sustainable economically. With the highest simulated opportunity costs (20%) the minimum number of usage per year must be 3,08 million. Whereas EuroVelo routes connect the most attractive cycling trails in the Czech Republic, we can consider this number of use as realistic. The main benefit of the thesis is complex analysis of conditions and impacts of the project EuroVelo in the Czech Republic based on partial methods and calculations.
Benefit analysis of fully-founded pillar of pension system in Slovakia for selected population groups (2005-2014)
Pantoflíček, Ondřej ; Brabec, Petr (advisor) ; Zeman, Martin (referee)
Pension system of the Slovak republic received positive evaluation and admiration from many European and world institutions after its reform in 2005. Since then the system went through significant legislative changes that affect its appearance and functioning. In the bachelor thesis I do analyse the profitability of entry to the fully-funded pillar of pension's system and compare the replacement rate of pensions from the PAYG system. Furthermore, I discuss these calculations and suggest possible steps to improve setting of the system. The work suggests that entry into a fully-funded system is not profitable for residents of the Slovak republic because of setting up the principle of merit in the state pillar and the pension system should undergo further parametric adjustments.

Přikrylová, Barbara ; Sunega, Petr (advisor) ; Zeman, Martin (referee)
Non-for-profit organizations typically work on the principle of obtaining funds from public and private sources and on the utilization of those funds for humanitarian and other publicly beneficial causes. One of the ways how to obtain funds is a number of fundraising activities of varying level of success rate. This thesis analyses the effectivity of the fundraising activities on a case study of Médicins Sans Frontiéres Czech Republic (MSF). This work analyses a number of fundraising activities present in the MSF portfolio and quantifies their effectivity using data from annual reports and strategic plans of actions. The hypothesis of the proportionality between the size of the target group and the size of the gross income is rejected. Based on the results of the analysis, a number of observations is collected and a number of recommendations on the improvement of the monitoring process of acquiring potential and maintaining existing donors is presented.
