The empirical part is based on research designed as questionnaire survey and related analysis. The respondents are divided according to the evaluating criterion: What is your evaluation of the client-worker relationship? Particular responses: a) The worker is advantaged. b) The worker and the client are equally matched. c) The client is advantaged. The responses represent the workers' subjective sense of well-being in the workplace. The groups are then analysed with regard to their education. The survey explores whether respondents self-study, attend one-day or regular training courses, or are not educated at all. Subsequently, the relation between the extent of education and workplace evaluation is assessed. The results indicate connection between the extent...

Červinková, Kateřina ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Zvírotský, Michal (referee)
The diploma thesis is aimed at further education as one of the possible means of combating the burnout syndrome of pedagogues. It is divided into two main parts, theoretical and practical. These sections are then subdivided into chapters and subchapters. In the theoretical part of the thesis I focus on teachers as an overall concept, more specifically on the personality traits of teachers, their key competences, the position of teachers in the Czech Republic, the development of their professional career, their education and the possibilities for further education. We also define what supervisors are, what types and forms we know, we will also look at supervision processes and their competencies. We will also discuss what the social environment is in school. In the second part of the theoretical part, we also look at the burnout syndrome, its theoretical definition, the symptoms associated with it, its manifestations and its consequences, we will also mention the risk factors for its formation and give us some possibilities of preventing the burnout syndrome. The practical part includes research that I did at selected schools in Chrudim. The main aim of this diploma thesis is to compare the incidence of burnout assumptions in schools with different approaches to education.

Attitudes of pupils to school cheating.
Vodrážková, Jana ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Papajoanu, Ondřej (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on the research of school cheating in pupils of the second level of elementary schools. Based on a self-reporting questionnaire survey, the aim of the thesis is to find out what motivates the pupils to cheat and what attitude they take to possibly punish detected fraud. Another goal is to find out the frequency of individual types of school cheating, the influence of gender and the learning benefit of school cheating. It has been found that pupils are relatively often used in cheating on the internet at the primary school. Also, there was greater tolerance for cheating when pupils do not attach the importance of punishment for an exposed fraud, rather they would not punish their exposed classmates. Key words: dishonest behavior, unusual cheating, electronic cheating, elementary school pupils, motivation to cheat
Self-assessment of teacher students' knowledge in the field of information and communication technologies
Černá, Petra ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Černochová, Miroslava (referee)
The aim of this thesis was to ascertain the self-assessment of university students with various specializations, in their knowledge of information and communication technology (ICT). The theoretical part concerns with self-assessment as concept and methods pertaining to its verification. It also contains a detailed description of the anchoring vignettes method with its application in specific areas. Also discussed is the Overclaiming Technique. An evaluation has been conducted in the empirical part, which elaborates on self-assessment of ICT terms of various groups of students. Anchoring vignettes method is used in order to amend said self-assessment. Aforementioned part of the thesis also contains the use of overclaiming technique in practise, which is demonstrated on a specifically devised questionnaire. In this questionnaire, the students were asked to evaluate their level of understanding both existing and non-existing terms from the ICT area. The results have shown that there are significant differences between the questioned groups of students. The numbers indicate that students of ICT have a greater tendency to exaggerate the level of their knowledge in the area of information and communication technologies. Much more so than students who specialize in different subject.
Measuring subjective well-being of teachers at elementary schools with using the anchoring vignette method
Vlčková, Petra ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Zvírotský, Michal (referee)
The diploma thesis deals with evaluation of subjective well-being of elementary school teachers with use of anchoring vignettes. General goal of the thesis is to research actual subjective well-being of teachers and find out what factors are affecting it. Theoretical part characterizes subjective well-being and its components, its interconnection with life satisfaction, quality of life and happiness. Theoretical part also consists of explanation of the anchoring vignettes method including description of its application in particular researches. Empirical part of the thesis uses an existing survey method called Diener's satisfaction with life scale supplemented by anchoring vignettes. The research refers to high level of subjective well-being among teachers. Some variables (eg. family status, work in city or village) which make differences between levels of satisfaction were found. Application of anchoring vignettes method confirmed results of self-assessing questions in most cases. Keywords: subjective well-being, life satisfaction, quality of life, anchoring vignette, teacher survey

Use of anchoring vignette method: subjective self-assessment of English language level among pupils at basic schools and multi-year gymnasia
Beranová, Vlasta ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Zvírotský, Michal (referee)
TITLE: The use of anchoring vignette method: subjective self-assessment of English languge level among pupils at basic schools and multi-year gymnasia AUTHOR: Bc. Vlasta Beranová DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. RNDr. Hana Voňková, Ph.D. et Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The level of English language is evaluated from the didactic test and self-assessment questions. The problem of the self-assessments is that respondents interpret scale categories differently. Their self-assessments are not comparable. The anchoring vignette method offers a very good solution. Respondents answer a self-assessment question and in the same they have to evaluate hypothetic people (anchoring vignettes). The subjective self-assessment is corrected by differences in their vignette's assessment. This diploma thesis aims at the use of anchoring vignette method: subjective self-assessment of English language level among pupils at basic schools and multi-year gymnasia. In the empirical part the data from a questionnaire survey are presented. In one chapter the anchoring vignettes are described with their development and the way how they were constructed. This thesis proves that students have different usage of the scale and this method is very useful in this field. Also, the corrected self-assessment differs from the original...

The sample was 100 students from the lower and 163 students from the higher stage of secondary schools called "gymnasium" (grammar school) in Prague. (185 girls and 78 boys) The research shows that students chose the foreign language mainly themselves and the most frequent reason for choosing French was that they liked the language in general. Subjective assessment of English language level of university students from education and economic programmes: the use of anchoring vignette method
Hourová, Kateřina ; Voňková, Hana (advisor) ; Zvírotský, Michal (referee)
This study looks at the application of the anchoring vignettes method in evaluating university students' level of English language. The theoretical part of the study describes the possibilities of language level measurement, Common European Framework of Reference for Languages and outlines the anchoring vignette method. Works of other authors using this method in different fields (including pedagogy) are also mentioned. One chapter is dedicated to self- assessment and its synonyms - how they are used in practice and research. The practical part presents the results of the author's original survey. Questionnaires were administered on pedagogical and business students in the comparison of self-assessment and objective knowledge survey. This work has illustrated the diversity of usage of the self-assessment scales, undervaluation of the students and the difference between the self-evaluation before and after the correction by the anchoring vignettes. In addition, the findings of this study show that the order of the self-assessment scale and the anchoring vignettes in the questionnaire matters and that placing the vignettes after the self-assessment is preferable.
